Bravo! Best explanation ever on Ketu in the 1st house. Maybe, I am the perfect example of this placement of Ketu. Have Saturn+Ketu+Moon conjunction in Capricorn Lagna. Home-educated. At 15 yrs, I received a full scholarship from a top university in England. Acquired a Double Doctorate in Mathematical Logic. Working as a Derivatives Analyst all my working life. Except for the first few years, rest I worked alone as a self-employed. Many failed marital relationships. Still looking for the perfect wife, perfect home and perfect me. Spend all my day working alone with a laptop. And happy with that. Find financial markets challenging. Hate to be in the limelight. Love watching Astrology-related videos. Hi everyone! I`m Leo Lagna with Ketu in the 1st house in Uttaraphalguni nakshatra. Actually I`m runniging through Ketu MD right now (very tough to me). I always thought to be extrovert, but when my Ketu MD started I just realized that I don`t need anyone, because it`s hard to find a good understandying & what is more important deep friend.

Sir i have ketu in lagna,virgo ascendant. Yes,its true i am very comfortable in my own company that i have very few friends. I have lot of mystical experiences from young age . I am a seeker of occult wisdom and like you said i love researching deep into the subjects. Yes i don't open up about my views or experiences because i feel others may not understand it... like you said... am sort of perfectionist and hard on myself too. Another interesting thing i have noticed is people open up to me very easily and they like to share their problems with me and seek solutions from me. Somehow they feel i bring positive changes in their life.
Now the cons are: thinking too much, stubborn, sometimes totally confused and takes irrational decisions, always in search of something... like i feel something is missing in my life (of couse my head)...

Hello! I share the same position of Ketu with Mula ascendant. Jupiter is retrograde in Rohini while Venus is conj. ascendant from Jyestha. I actually never struggled with connecting to others, perhaps because of Venus & Rohini lagnesh, but on the contrary have absolutely always been candid in my connections and ability to read others. Equal ability to dive into books, personal studies and be comfortable in any given solitude. My weakness today may be over-analysis, specifically in relationship matters.
Your wisdom and knowledge are unparalleled. I have bad vision, frequently get headaches, my brain is always on 24/7 lol and I have ADHD! I am obsessed with finding out information, learning things, etc haha. I work from home (business), barely feel the need to go out and struggle with chores/daily tasks and stuff. I was simply done with the cheap call center crowd, I couldn't go on pleasing customers in BPOs. Made me angry that ppl who complain refuse to realize that it's that trustworthy company which crooks them. They refuse to see that they are only talking to an employee who is paid to play the tricks. Therefore I am jobless, yes, I want my own setup but nothing's happening! I don't mingle with cheapness as I think half life is already wasted. But I accept that life is imperfect, never been perfectionist. Our ideals are toxic, life is made of small things, universe favors small thinking. Small realist thinkers are the ones who are successful. There's no place for big thinks except in big heads. I have been studying with many astrologers but every time i watch your analysis is always so accurate. Thank you for that. This analysis of Ketu first house was the most accurate about my personality. The only difference for me is that i am not an introvert maybe because i have mercury with rahu in the 7th. But definitely i do not open up my deepest feelings or deepest thoughts to mostly anyone besides a partner. Maybe even then it is almost not fully exposed. I am totally a perfectionist and minimalist, everything around me needs to be organized, cleaned, functional, productive and perfect. Ketu also is in Capricorn and mars in virgo ( in the 9th)... not mentioning saturn in conjunction with jupiter in the 8th ...so the perfectionism is exacerbated. I went to college at the age of 17, into food production engineering and from there to masters and doctorate in biodiversity conservation... after that i had fulbright grant scholarship and went to the US where i met my guru in a yoga ashram. That year i entered in rahu mahadasha so it changed everything for me. After that ...4 years after... i started immersing into my sadhana, into vedic astrology intensely... and by understanding my path , and the why i was so unhappy in my samsara kind of life ( we call " normal life")..I left everything behind, my job as a professor at the university, my research in ecology, my husband, my dogs, car ... everything and moved in to the ashram to be by my guru's feet. The guru is a hatha yogi, so as I . Totally made sense when you mentioned that. I function 24hs a day, 7 days a week, I am always working. My work is 100% dedicated to serve my guru and I became his attendant. My mind is really powerful, will and enthusiasm are huge. I do my sadhana with fervor and my devotion is intense. I have a very simple life with a very well stablished routine. I love traveling , but don't do as much, only once a week for work, to acquire fruits for the guru. Even then, all I do when I am out is to talk about spirituality, yoga and enlightenment. Moon is in sagittarius in 12th house, so my mind is always there, maybe that is the one and only attachment I have in life. I do not get attached to people, money, things, jobs, phases of life, parents, family, anything. As a woman, I have friends that dream to become mothers etc, and I never had or have that dream. I do not have an attachment towards that, if it happens, great, but if it doesn't, than it is fine for me, it gives me more time to practice and work. I love deeply but if any relationship is broken up I let go and move on, I do not keep my thoughts and mind in the past, past events, past emotions etc , anything. I live more like "right here right now" with a little step forward into the future with - as you said - fertile imagination and faith and optimism. I can be very serious, work oriented, very dedicated, rigid and systematic. Also I can be very loving, romantic and care for others with a lot of love, even though it can be a little into a dry fashion kind of way. At work, usually people say I have a very direct - raw- dry speech, my speech is always like a command kind of communication, which I don't always desire. I have deep long term bonds with few friends, a small family, and we are all living in different countries, and I don't really feel anything in relationship to it. I have ketu in lagna Tula rashi. I have hobbies like aquariums and science. I still enjoy my hobby because it's like meditation for me it allows me to focus and see life thrive. All traits you've said about ketu in ascendant are Bang on. It's a battle between complete selfness and the ability to maintain this selfness by doing the bare minimum. @@sanjeevvashishth I'm an ambivert generally. But having this ketu placement makes me very refined. I have struggled with relationships, it's like I can be friends with people of a certain mindset but when it comes to relationships it's really tough I am very refined and grounded at the same time. It super rare for me to find like minded people. 99% people are of no interest to me. Having ketu creates another problem, I'm a minimalist which most people look down upon. Doesn't mean I'm disinterested in life or what it has to offer, it's just that I can make do with less more efficiently. In my case less is more.
Related to 7th house I have a real difficult time as I haven't found a match for myself, being an introvert doesn't help in this regard. Rather it's something that is frowned upon. A flaw is also that it's given me good intuitive abilities and insight.. which doesn't always work in your favour.

Yes having a Rahu in the 7th isn't a good thing when it comes to relationships. I was engaged, got cheated by the person and ended up walking out of it. I have come to terms with the fact that good companionship is a highly sought after but very overrated thing at the same time.
Solitude, spirituality and a single status aren't such a bad thing when it comes to your peace of mind. But if anyone asks me if I'm interested in a mundane life with a good balance, I would very much say yes and I mean it.

I always struggled to connect with others on an emotional level... I was born as a alone son to my parents and had to change place like 5 times. Because of these things Im not attached to anything not even to myself and loneliness struck when i was like 18-21 yrs old however I'm FINE now at age 23... I see things differently not based on my personal feelings and emotions of someone even I think I love... i try to see things very precisely (the truth) in an universal level.... I think people like me are rare... I am a Gemini ascendant person with Ketu and a retrograde Saturn in the first house. I have very few friends but I behave cordially with everyone. I have only 1 or 2 people that i feel free to talk to. My life has been full of compromises. In spite of working hard couldn't do well in education and career. I have eye related problems, went thru eye surgery, migraine headaches, nerve pain in both hands and suffer from anxiety disorder. I love to read and research. Astrology is a topic of curiosity to me. There is nothing that i want for myself other than the strength to fulfill my responsibilities. Ketu in 1st house with Moon.. I am ambivert but mostly a loner. I enjoy my own company and love alone time. I am independent and don’t gel with most people as I feel they are not my frequency and its waste of time. I love doing odd things and research in them. Like I teach computer to special need kids and I am good at it.
Also, i feel disinterested in monotonous job. I always question purpose of life, which I am still seeking. I am jack of many trades and love to keep learning more and more. Still confused about a proper career and direction.
Ketu in the ascendant in Taurus (no planets), samsara says I’m autistic which basically means the same thing as this placement. These “stuck” and “obsessive” patterns are called “hyper fixations”. We find our special interest and love it with all of our soul until we find something else to take its place, and this happens with routines, clothing, food, etc. I’m a silent, introvert, sometimes selectively mute. I love research, love spirituality and vinyasa yoga, and don’t do well in regular jobs, but also have problems finishing school because of so many mental interests and loss of interest in subjects/people. I’m okay with being self taught for now. I have ketu in Hasta Nakshatra in my ascendant. With Rahu in 7 th house with sun and Jupiter. During my medical studies I even challenged my professors sometimes. I would study things in such details that teachers had to check the books. I used to do deep analysis on my medical subjects, also give some theories.now i am being driven by Rahu i think as i am very social and out there with strong opinions and also not able to sustain my marriage.

My thinking is very different for sure and thinks many possibilities (some are unrealistic but still i think of that possibilities). I am slow thinker sometimes, may be because of Mercury with Saturn. But my thinking mostly leads to a solution which is different and good as well.
I compromise very much for the things that affect other peoples. But i don't like to compromise on my personal things that will only affect me. I don't like to take same path like others.

Hi sir, i am aquarius lagna. 1st house has jupiter, ketu and Mars, 2nd house has moon and saturn, 7th house has rahu, 11th house has venus, 12th house has sun and mercury.
