This guy is awesome. I love that he keeps interaction with the restaurant to a minimum. He remains humble and he includes the youtube audience during his challenge. Reminds me of beard meets food, who i also support with the overdubbing. What sets Joel and beard from the rest is that they arent flashy, dont annouce their challenge record, isn't robotic and just goes with the flow 1 challenge at a time.....Props to you Joel.

As an amateur competitive eater, I had eaten an eight pound burrito in Cheyenne Wyoming. I was the only person to have successfully finish the burrito, before "The Galaxy Cafe" closed their doors permanently. This burrito was called a "Solar Eclipse" and was a monumental accomplishment for me. Also, a local news company published a story on me too!

I visited Memphis/Nashville a few years back and Beale Street was such a highlight of my trip. More fun than Nashville for sure but this was also in the summer during non pandemic times so it was a lot more lively.
