Man, genetics are crazy! You got the one totally bald and bearded brother (he looks pretty cool too, actually), and another with a Ross from Friends hairline practically in his mid 50s! I have some awesome hair genes from the Scandinavian side of my family....going back to about 1850! My great great great and great great grandfathers barely receded past NW 1. Found their pictures on a free ancestry.com trial. They both had terrific facial hair growing talent too by the way.

will be hard for future generation to look back on pics of their family, like you're doing, and get an accurate representation since who is to say who got a hair transplant in the family and who was on some prescriptions.

I'm Mexican, born in mexico. And having an Italian name, makes me have Italian heritage, rolling on that Norwood 2 lol.

My Dad is almost 60 now with more hair then me. I hope I don't go bald because that'll be way too weird. I hope eating extremely healthy will put a complete stop to it because I have enough hair to get away with. It's only when I cut my hair really short that you can notice that the number of follicles decreased. And the weird part is that it's not just the top. I inspected my hair and it is equally less on the sides and back as well. God forbid, but I may be heading towards complete baldness if I'm not careful. I really think that the junk I was eating was causing my scalp and hair to get very greasy which probably ended up clogging up my head. I am not sure about this but now that I am eating whole foods with little to no oil added I noticed that I don't have to shampoo twice a day. And in fact even if I skip a day of shampoo my hair doesn't get all greasy. Do you think that too much sebum can possibly cause hair thinning? I am not talking about heriditary balding because my hair line did not recede whatsoever but I just overall have less hair then before. And my hair used to be thick looking but now when I run my hands through my hair it feels as if it weighs less and the slightest breeze would make them fly all over the place. My hair turned from thick and wavy to fine and straight looking.
