- The Los Angeles Lakers defeat the Golden State Warriors, 109-103. Dennis Schroder recorded 26 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists for the Lakers, while Rui Hachimura (16 points, 7 rebounds), D'Angelo Russell (15 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists) and Anthony Davis (13 points, 16 rebounds) added a combined 44 points in the victory. Jordan Poole led all scorers with 29 points (17 in the 4th quarter), 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the Warriors. The Lakers improve to 26-31 on the season, while the Warriors fall to 28-28.

Not from talent. Circumstantial. They beat an injured timberwolves missing 3 key players. So far they beat an injured Memphis missing 3 key guys. They're up 3-1 on Warriors whose sucked all year on the road. But it's not over. If they beat the Warriors, then beat Denver, then say that.
Boy is having Vanderbilt and D-Lo a breath fresh air. A PG that can pass the ball, create his own shot, and play off the ball and a do it all wing defender that does all the little things. They'll be invaluable pieces for the playoff push

This was a great rebounding/defensive game for AD. Schröder has been the unsung hero for the Lakers for a while now. DLo and Hachimura both played very well. Bad night for Beasley, but hopefully, he can bounce back. Vanderbilt may be limited offensively, but he knows when and where to be at the right time. His energy and effort, especially defensively, will be necessary for them.

What a steal in them getting Vanderbilt. Guys a star in the making was phenomenal tonight. D'angelo Russell also looked really well out there now giving them a pg that can shoot and he's capable of being a 20ppg scorer for them. The fit with him and AD was well and him AD and Bron will be great. Beasley obviously had a rough game but he's a streaky shooter and will definitely get hot hitting them sooner than later also just his presence of being behind the 3 point Line made the warriors physically have to always have a guy sometimes even 2 fighting over screens constantly in his face that's something that hasn't happened this season prior to tonight as they had no shooting threats his presence there gave them significantly more spacing and with him and Dlo out there teams aren't gonna be able to pack the paint anymore. The best thing about all this is the Lakers are in prime position to keep all 3 of them and Hachimura, Reaves etc for a long time. So this will build into next season and wirh chemistry being built now next season instead of going into it with new roster all these good young players are gonna be back.

@JoeBidens_TouchyHands I don't see any need for Kyrie. Run with the young guys and depth around LeBron and AD. The depth they got now is better than the depth they had in 2020. I disagree with average team obviously the question now is if they have enough run way to make playoff run and everything but even if they fall short for some reason or make playoffs and lose early I'd bring all these guys back all of them are young and gonna continue to get better and continue to build chemistry.

Vanderbilt was my favorite tonight very young talented player the only one who was eh was Beasley but he will get more into finding his rhythm and dlo doing what he does best and that’s shooting and drawing fouls 🔥🔥🔥 and giving a lot of credit for Dennis tonight I felt like he was very underrated player throughout his career 🔥

I have to say, after watching the meeting, that Warriors started playing better and dominating 'till the half-time, being Green and Wiggins their most important players at the moment of attacking.
After the half-time, Lakers improved a lot as in offensive as in defensive part, being very important here the stuff from their bench, where many of the players who made their team debut today scoring but also taking advantage second chances points after winning quite offensive rebounds.

As a Wolves fan, Russell needed to go. He was a high-usage point guard that didn’t allow us to maximize Anthony Edwards ability. Hopefully Dlo will take his talents and be a better fit in LA.
