    I’m always amazed how Brian is able to climb crazy features clipped in and not fall. It takes some serious skill to unclip that fast and catch your footing

      don’t know what BK uses, but Shimano MRP cleats allow clip out in any direction, even straight up. combine that with Shimano tension adjusting and one can clip out anywhere anytime. these cleats brought me back to clipped in riding.

    This brought so much joy to my day! Seeing you out with your wife, laughing and living life together is the dream of any married couple. My wife and I will be traveling for the first time this summer for MTB trails. We are so looking forward to the adventures that await. Your videos have given us a long list of places to go.     Love it! Glad you finally made it to Lynn woods, so cool seeing you ride my home trails!
    Edit: if you ever want some less techy more flowy I recommend billerica state forest/Russell mill pond that has trails originally made for mtb so lots of flow and fun features to the side of trail, also landlocked forest is a good mix of flowy tech

    Sick video! I've spent days in there, made countless videos, yet still notice some spots in this cut that I've never seen, place is an absolute maze (love that theres still no signage) . the sigh at the end after successfully making it onto route 1 was a perfect ender

    Yo man ! Brand new subscriber here. My brother, and I found your channel yesterday. Watched several vids. Now, I am not a mountain biker. I gotta say, i am in shock! Not only does it blow my mind that you are physically capable of doing what you do, going up and over rocks, your stamina, your balance, etc. But also, that there are bikes out there that can hold up to that !!! I got dizzy just watching a video you did in Utah !! đŸ€Ł Insane ! Love it ! 👍 Never saw anything like that ! Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got some binge watching to catch up on!

    Luv it BKXC. Learned to ride on these crazy ass trails. Would've been better to hook up with a local to show you the line flow. Like you did at Vietnam. Same type of cluster of trails that need a local guide.

    Great to see you finally get to Lynn Woods. It's definitely the great equalizer. You should check out Breakheart Reservation just across route 1. It's got some incredible tech but won't beat you into the ground like Lynn and it doesn't have the trail ribbons everywhere.

    I lead Advance Level rides at Lynn Woods (1) per month. 10 mile tour of the whole park in only 4 hours... See my Ride Blog for the rides, or get in touch, and will take you on a tour.
    PS: NEMBA has not been involved in Lynn Woods since the early 2000's. Diesel Bikes / Local Riders and lots of LUV build those trails.

    we have a trail like that on the front range of colorado. all the trailfork reviews are so negative. their reviews almost sound like they want to sue someone. lol.
    anyway it must be fun to ride with someone so encouraging.. and she's your wife!

      @@mrdingleberryMC i wasn’t, but that one is definitely not for everyone. there is a trail at carter lake called “sundance” no one rides it, it’s even marked as a blue, but it’s one of the most technically challenging trail i’ve ever done. it’s only three miles one direction but it takes a couple hours. i really enjoy it as a training route.

    If your going to be in Massachusetts for a while another good riding spot is Sturbridge, they are putting alot of work into the trails around town. For some good gnar, either Lead mine or Wells state park are really good. While Plimton community forest has some more flowy trails.

    Crumbl is a Utah company with over 500 stores around the US. By the way Brian, I watched your channel a lot when you first started a few years ago, but lost interest and stopped watching. This video of a year ago popped up on my feed today and I decided to watch as there was a cute girl in it. I have to say, I did enjoy it. And I see that others have also commented that the addition of your wife to the channel has been a good thing. Congratulations! Just a recommendation, since there are two of you, do include more side views of your riding difficult stuff -- that is always fun for viewers to watch rather than the boring POV.

    My joints and back are hurting just looking at this type of riding. When you are in your twenties and thirty’s you feel like a gazelle. In your fifty’s you pick the less jarring trails. I ride a twelve speed carbon hard tail with a 100 mm front fork, a pure cross country rig and avoid these types of trails. Nevertheless it is fun watching you two negotiating these trails. Keep it up!

      Everyone I ride with is late 40's, 50's and older. These are our trails, it's all we ride. It's great for yer fitness just sucks when you fall
