I now have 3 of the Mountain Jackets. I have the Aztec Blue limited edition rerelease, a red, and today I purchased the 2023 in all black. Classic. Durable. Living in NYC… I can wear it 9 months out of the year, with or without adding my Denali or Nuptse. The North Face forever. Best outerwear in my opinion.

Thank you for doing that video! You are the first to record it for this new revision of the TNF 2023 GTX 1990 Mountain Jacket. Is there are any changes in comparison of initial release of the TNF GTX 1990 mountain jacket? As it is the new release there is no much field tests and feedbacks. I am hesitant to order as I do not know whether they changed anything in sizes. I am usually between M and L sizes. As I seen in your video you have M size, may you please say what is your measurements of chest, waist, hips, weight and height. Seems to me that M fits for you great. But I seen in your videos that you sometimes have L size in jackets. Also it would be great if you could make measurements of jacket (pit to pit, hem, length, shoulders and cb sleeve length). Thank you!
Hi Bro'. Thanks for your time and for being here. I'm gonna making the comparison you mention here between the next two weeks. From the first impressions I can say there are some differences that make me think the TNF 2023 GTX is made primarily for the city (you will see why)... but I can also say you can wear this shell on the ski rides. The sizes are remanined the same, so if you go generally for the M, ok take the M also for this new release. My chest is about 105 cm, the waist 102 cm, hips 99 cm. I'm tall 1.70 for 82 kg... I generally wear the M size for TNF and when I go for the L size is 'cause or I'm going for asian lines (generally one size smaller) or I want a bulky (boxy) style for US/EU lines. I can't show you here the jacket measurements now , 'cause I'm out of my city with no access to the jacket. In the next video I can also report the informations you have requested here, but I think you have now more informations for your next purchase. PS if you like my channel, subs =)

@@equinoxcae6799Yes the combo '96 Nuptse + '90 GTX Mount (or this last release) rules. I also have got two Nuptse jkts, but I want try this GTX with the down insultaion. 🙂
@@romaforever Ciao. Questo shell é compatibile con qualsiasi TNF middle layer che abbia zip con sigla 5VS. PS teoricamente se trovassi uno strato medio con zip YKK 5VS di un'altro brand, potresti collegarlo 😉

@@romaforever VS sta per il tipo di dentino e 5 sta per la misura. Quindi se hai dei middle layer con zip/cursore YKK 5Vs, l'aggancio é compatibile.
