You treat your rats so well but more vent holes? They are prone to respitory issues. You seem pretty well informed though, love that!
The top of the breeder tubs are completely removed and fixed with a mesh wired top that is 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch. Thank you for bringing this to my attention and I will have to make some videos showing the full tub so you can get an idea of how open they are.

The tube is about 6 inches wide of 1/2 by 1/2 inch mesh just rounded into a cylinder and a small part at the bottom to hold the food in.
I got some to start breeding and 2 of the small females i had gotten were already pregnant one died the day after birth and the other i think just started labor amd im worried about her
I have been breeding mice for the past two year and now my snake need rats I got one female and one male and the female is not letting the male mate she is friendly like Blue and I got the tank hooked up with plenty of enrichment. Is it just with time or does she not like the male so it aint gonna happen? I'm just beginning with rats and the Breeder adults are my "pets" and the babies I will be feeding off. Any advice helps!
You have to be patient with rats some females aren't ready to start breeding until they mature. It's possible your female rat isn't of the proper age for reproduction. I think you're doing a great job! I would just allow more time for the female to adjust to the environment and only leave one male with her so that you don't created unnecessary stress on her.
Is it best to keep only 1 male with the females?
1 male can breed up to 6 females. I would allow time for the females to mature before you attempt to breed them so you can minimize the amount of stress they go through.

@StrongTv_Creator 6 females to 1 male. I think you can do as many as the male can handle. Gordo was a machine. He kept up pretty good with 10, and the others were about 4 to 1.
