Every time they do the Jingle Jam, I get recommended a lot of "Yogscast drama" videos featuring comments by former members. It seems like, regardless of who the former member is and how they feel about the Yogscast, they always have nothing but good things to say about Sips, ranging from "he was always really nice" to "he helped make me a better content creator". With that plus his known history of being great to fans in person, I can only conclude that Sips is just legitimately a good dude who stumbled into internet fame (which makes him a rarity). Everyone's got their flaws of course and no one should be put on a pedestal or anything, but it's just refreshing seeing a popular content creator who is ostensibly a decent person.

As somebody that was at this, I agree that some people stuck around way too long. I admit that me and my mates may have overstayed our welcome a tad (we hung about until Lewis bought churros because my mate wanted to get a signature off everyone but didn't want to intrude if they were on cam/were having a conversation) and I would like to apologise to Bouphe, Leo etc. if I or my two mates were in any way responsible for causing any discomfort.
We could see that Bouphe, Leo and Pyrion were definitely the most uncomfortable so we made sure not to be near them / ask them for a photo, signature.
When we were moving about around the markets, we tried to hang back away from the main crowd and not be on camera, but there were some people that were getting WAY too comfortable and trying actively to get on camera (guy at 4:00 , for instance) and pull the attention away from the yogs themselves.
YOGS fans make Lewis look like a Chad.

I feel like the whole point of this is partly to do with fan interaction and community, lewis didn't seem to mind but maybe it was a mix of wanting to interact with the fans but also wanting some space? it's hard to tell bc of course they could just be overly polite and british
It is a part of it. They are also just being polite. I'm all about people meeting in public but the ones just following them around for the whole thing is just weird.
Probably, I mean a fan interaction with someone like the yogscast I imagine would normally be "Hey, Im a big fan, I love your videos. Can i have a picture?" and then move on. Rather than following them around and being weird asf.
I believe Lewis and some of yogscast understand the nature of parasocial relationships, they discussed about it at least a couple of times, so I think Lewis at least knows how handle individuals when he comes across them. I don't envy him or the rest of the yogscast, can be nervewreaking meeting fans that would appear at any moment anywhere.
