love it after 2 years of trying and loads of ropes i'm still not at this level though i am 54 so is it to late for an old dog
Nice video.
The problem I have with double unders is I can do 1-2 rotations only, and I want to be able to continuously do several double unders.
Also when I land for some reason I keep going back a few yard’s rather than stay on the spot.
Can you please give some tips on this .
Also what jumping rope would you recommend to do fast jumping / tricks ?

I think a lot of jumpers with DU struggles don’t understand that when they kick back, they’re REALLY working against themselves. Strength in the feet for springiness needs to be independent YET parallel effort with quicker wrist action. I miss exercising, especially the rope, so much!!! Just been working too much. Always a nice refresh watching you Rush, much love!

I think more needs to be explained by a Dr. Rather than myself but my thoughts are that we need to learn to use the muscles in our toes to really learn to bounce on the balls of our feet! I know you have mastered this so perhaps a little more insight on the feels of landing and pushing off with those muscles in your feet and toes would be very helpful. Also landing feet pointing outwards or straight seriously works wonders preventing shin splints!!
The calf muscles, not the toes, are the major plantar flexors.

She doesn't turn her wrists. Flicking your wrist on the down stroke gives a lot of control.
