MIRAGE IAI DAGGER - 1/48 SCALE AIRCRAFT - KINETIC MODEL KIT BUILDING

Detailed modeling of Kinetic 1/48 scale plastic model kit Mirage IAI DAGGER, a key aircraft in the Argentine Air Force during Falkland War / Fuerza Aerea Argentina en Malvinas. This model, which is one of the old productions of the Kinetic Model Kit, is not easy to assemble. I made many scratch build additions to the cockpit and especially to the glareshield. I enriched the image a little more with the Hasegawa pilot addition. I finished it straight out of the box, with my own means, without paying for detail sets and resin sets. I used Hataka, Vallejo and Mission Models acrylic paint for painting.

It's a normal sewing needle, it doesn't have any special features. I just attached it to a knife handle.

Your display room must be getting full by now. Sent me researching from a very detailed book from the time, Falklands the Air War, by an aviation group I belonged to. Seems C-415 did not feature in the order of battle, or at least there is no mention of it.
Very much like you modify parts to your taste, an not whine the kit should provide every part.

Luckily there is still a lot of place in my room for new models.
I made this model with the help and advice of many Argentinian experts, and I can say with certainty that many sources and even pictures show that this aircraft was actively used in Falkland war.
