Very easy build. I used 3 1/2 2x4's. I had a piece of 2x8 that I used for the motor mount. I had a set of caster wheels that I used to be able to move it around. The 2x4s cost a whopping $16.50 (I purchased 4) and I already had screws. Thanks for the easy build.

Thank you! It was raining and I had been thinking about buying a stand, the one I had was stationary and not high enough to put muffs on and run the motor. After watching the video I went to the local hardware store and bought the $18 of wooden material and made the cuts, grabbed some screws and VOILA a fabulous new outboard motor stand! I had looked at a few stand videos and one complaint was the cost of castor wheels....As luck would have it, I just moved an old filing cabinet in the garage to be given away and 'rolled' it along the garage floor with other giveaway stuff....wait a minute, it has wheels....so I took them off and put them on the new motor stand, AWESOME! Thanks again!

lol yes! It would have been $40 with tax. Do you know how many cups of coffee I can buy with that 40 bucks :-)
