Dear! On 15.12.2020 i have sent 8000Chf from Switzerland to Vietnam but now my family still not received it. I try to call, email them but doesn’t help. They dont have any office in Switzerland and i just can call directly to UK . In my case , do you think i will lost my money?
This is not far from the truth as I’ve tried doing it myself using transferwise but failed woefully not until I got expert help. Wish I had this knowledge earlier in life.

Thank you for making your explanation user friendly and visual - I have been watching so many videos - including - one made by an employee and you nailed it - not so much for the others - Now I can pass this on to another friend so they know how to use it as well - we were a little baffled by the simplicity - great video - well done!
Thanks for the video. One thing to add is that the "fees" listed are the fees that TransferWise (now Wise) charges. Your bank may charge additional fees! For example, your bank may charge nothing if you use a debit card for the transfer but a lot if you use the bank transfer method.
I use that to pay foreign merchants and manufacturers who only accept bank transfer payment cos i dont have a bank account lol. Just pay with my prepaid virtual credit card and done, its all that easy. Easy to use and the interface of their website is very easy to understand and nice. Very useful for people like me who doesnt have a bank account or people who dont wanna use their actual bank account funds for transferring money for security purposes. Also, i dont link bank accounts and i dont put funds in my transferwise account, i just pay the exact amount im gonna send with mt credit card, in that way im not worried that my account will be closed with money in it and im sure that im charged only the exact amount that i sent cos i only put the amount of money im gonna send nothing more.
Since Wise Transfer is not a "Bank Account" but most people use it for their low fees on cashing money from ATM abroad, must this Wise Transfer be reported to IRS? If so, is Wise Transfer considered a "Bank"? I am confused what to do.
When money comes into my bank account from another country, will it show the amount in my bank account or just in my Wise account? I am using a pre paid credit card wich was issued by my bank.
Thanks for the video, very helpful. Could you please tell me what is shown under "Sender" in the bank statement when the money arrives to the payee's account? Is it Wise that appears as the Sender or is it the actual payer, e.g. a person or company?
Thanks for the video. One question, after you put in the details for the recipient once, does this system hold them, or do you have to Re-Imput them each time?
Hello from the US Simon. Thank you for the great informative video. I'm just seeing it today. I've used T-Wise several times and have been very happy with the costs involved and how quickly the transfer is made. Thanks again. -Trent

thanks. i have a qestion. if we want to send money to someone else, wise or other virtual bank account like Payoneer, ask us to enter some details. one of that details is address. usually the address (street, zip code, ect) will be the address of customer house or the address of the bank? thank you.
Hi Simon, thanks for your video! I do have one question though; I could see that your money needed to reach the Wise account by 10:26am on Friday, but I don't know when you made the transfer so have no idea how long you had? I have heard that if the money is not with Wise by the deadline (which can be as short as 2 hours) then you get a different rate from the one you saw when you created the transaction. What is your understanding? My bank told me they cannot guarantee the money will be there within 2 hours.
Transferwise customer service is appalling if anything other than simple or basic queries or issues... I am waiting more than 13 days since the last communication and they are holding more than €30,000 under investigation.... unlike my mainstream bank who actually call you to ask or check transaction with you, Transferwise don’t both understanding and will either raise transaction queries or just close your account using “their regulated business” sector as the excuse.... no notice, no communication..... AVOID AT ALL COSTS
thanks for your effort, you did choose the example of US and Swiss, where the transfer is very easy. could you let us know how is with countries, where money transfer is always complicated. in my case Iraq, I could do every step which you explained but where do the person get the money from ?? is there any office like Western Union or any certain bank who deals with Wise. I thank you very much and wait eagerly to hear it from you.
Simon, thanks for the tutorial. One question. I see you are using Zurich Cantonal Bank to do your transfer to Wise. Does ZCB charge any fees to do the transfer from ZCB to Wise? When I use UBS to do a wire transfer, I get charged fees from UBS. Thx and cheers from Zurich.
Hey sehr gutes Video, sehr gut erklärt. Hatte mich auch schon dort angemeldet, da ich in den nächsten Tagen Autoteile in den USA bestellen muss. Eine Frage hätte ich aber bzg. Privat oder Business. What is the most money one can send at one time as I seen the most JPY to USA in USD is $1,000. or is it 1,000,000 JPY which would reach the USA at $9,574.more or less depending on the exchange rate.
I sent a bit over $1000 twice, and then my account is deactivated on the second transfer. My bet, this company only allow transfer of really small amounts or it will suspect and closed the account suddenly and your money may not return any of your money.
Thank you for the video. If I send money to a friend's bank account in another country, will my he receive it directly into his bank account as a deposit? Or will he need to do additional work?
The video is very informative, I just received mail from Wise, that if I want to send high amount of money (12k€) i need to "Record a video of yourself, as requested", can you explain what should that video shouldcontaining?. Thank you
I'm still confused by this. I don't want to transfer money. I only want to receive money from my friend. It won't let me add my details without putting money in the transfer wise account.
Hi. Im getting money next month and would like to use transferwise for the firat time. Do I have to open a transferwise account? (Im the receiver) OR only the sender has to open a transferwise account? Do i need to provide the routing number of my bank to the sender? Thanks in advance
Is TransferWise able to transfer money from Europe to a small Credit Union in the US? Credit Unions often use a bigger bank as their recipient and then it goes to further credit the Credit Union. How would that work if you need to put in detail for two banks?
Hey I have a question. Since they didn’t ask for confirmation mail/otp after adding ones personal account, how do I make sure that my account name, no. & IFSC code that I’m sharing with others aren’t miss used to transfer money? Btw, it’s an informative video. Thanks
I’ve used Transferwise (Now: Wise) to transfer money from the United States to Thailand, but is there a way to transfer from Thailand to the United States?
Thank you so much for your video. It is very user-friendly. Only question...I see that you can send money from overseas to South Africa, but not from South Africa to overseas?
Let's say I want to move oversees. I have a current bank account but will need to open new one in a new country. When I do a transfer from current account to a new one which residency address do u use ?
Can my friend from another country deposit money into my account then ill do the verification myself from my country because the app doesn't accept our country cards currently. ?
thank you for the great video. is there a way to request a money without the sender to know the recipients detail? i sell stuff and i don't want my customers to know my private information
hello Sam ,i almost understand all your explaination but their is only one that i did'nt understood is the "REFERENCE NO." So i will copy that no. and send to the bank i'm. sending. Is that right sam? Thank you i hope it's clear for me."MERRY X'MAS. SAM"

You are from the best ones I have seen who could explain how to use Transferwise in correct way.
Many thanks for clevers guys all around this earth.
