Marella Voyager 1 Week Mediterranean Cruise (Part 2)

- The continuation of our Mediterranean fly-cruise onboard Marella Voyager! Make sure you've caught up with part 1 before starting! In this vlog we pick up on day 4 when we arrive into Civitavecchia, Italy and head to Rome for the day! Apart from the transfer, no excursion booking here - we do things independently and our OWN way and still see lots of Rome without once taking public transport! Alas, the day ends badly with a late pick up, and in-coming storm, flooding and a total soaking from crazy torrential rain, winds and no shelter as we were all trying to find our bus! And we arrive back at the ship late too having sat on a coach for 2 hours whilst soaking wet! Dinner and drinks back on board are MUCH needed. The following day we arrive into Livorno and head to Pisa for all those fabulous leaning tower shots! A night on the liquid ensues and (multiple) dinners at the Kitchens! In part 3, out soon, we have a sea day, our 11 year wedding anniversary, Barcelona and Kora La to look forward to!

Very much enjoyed part deux. The ship seems to be ticking boxes for us. Something new to try as we've been on the Discovery ships and one of the Explorers. Also the Sizzler Reel was a hoot! Looking forward to part trois!

Really enjoyed this video. We came back from our first med cruise in October and really enjoyed it. It was lovely to see Rome again. Your Rome rain looked like our storm in Capri - absolutely torrential with thunder and lightening. We were so wet and cold so went back to the ship to warm up and have coffee and cakes. I’d have been tempted to answer those weird comments on espresso martinis too! Some people are just odd 😂

We did this cruise but for two weeks in September and had fabulous weather and would have no hesitation sailing on Marella Voyager again even though their prices have inflated somewhat.
We missed out on Cannes (St. Raphael itinerary change) due to the large swell, odd though as all those who'd payed for their extorsions were able to tender ashore in the morning and back in the afternoon.
See you got an extra day in Barcelona, we too love visiting there, can't for the life of me understand why 'Paul and Carole' list it as their least favorite port, it's completely the opposite for us.
Yes Voyager is a great ship despite it's age, P&O need to consider Marella as competition seriously, the only thing we were surprised at was when docked in Palma Majorca as their was no shuttle provided and it's one hell of a walk into Palma with the road works and the heat so it's either a 15 Euro taxi both ways or the Hop on Hop off bus at £8 for seniors booked on board.

Fab vlog Jamie as always. Rome and Italy look absolutely beautiful. My brother was in Turin recently and absolutely loved it and says he would love to move there. The food looked brilliant but must agree the pork certainly didn't look appealing. Daniel would be on the coffee cocktails if he wanted peace from me as he knows we can't kiss each other if he's had coffee as I'm allergic to coffee. Hope you and Maffoo had a fab anniversary and for many more to come. I apologise for not being able to attend any of the lives the other week when I was in London with Daniel for our seventh anniversary. Also keep being your brilliant self Jamie and don't let the boring keyboard moaners get to you we all love your vlogs. Have a fab cruise to Amsterdam and look forward to the next vlogs.

Agree ref having to pay for the shuttle in ports where you have no choice as you are not aloud to walk, which is fine but the shuttle should be inc. Keep making me laugh...poor Maffooooooo!
