Love everything! Tip: purchase the amazon brand of laminating sheets! I also have scotch laminator and the amazon brand works great! Lots more for a much cheaper price.

I teach preschool and we also always read the book Have You Filled A Bucket Today? and talk about "filling" each other's buckets, and we have a little metal bucket for each child with their name on it, so they put the pom pom in their bucket and when theirs is full they get to choose a prize from the prize bucket!
i did that in kindergarten too!

We got so much of the same stuff from my first year last year lol. Also, I heard you say your school uses Wonders… Alexa, just some words of advice, it could get super frustrating and overwhelming at times cuz it has so much stuff with it but just go one day at a time with it. Allow yourself to learn the routines and all of the materials. I just completed my 1st year teaching Wonders in 1st grade and boy, it was a lot lol. You’ll get the hang of it mid year. Good luck Girl!💕💕

Congratulations on your job! Could you talk a bit in the next vlog about why you have to buy your own supplies and books for your classroom rather than having it funded by the school? It would help bring awareness to funding issues!
Our school gives us $100 for classroom supplies and the curriculum is provided. Anything beyond that comes out of our pocket or donations. I work at a Title 1 school so a lot of parents cannot afford basic school supplies so teachers usually foot the bill for that too.
