Greetings from northern Germany, the beautiful corner with sun, wind, sea, fresh air, fish specialties, water sports and many beautiful islands and miles of sandy beaches. That's why people from southern Germany like to vacation with us in northern Germany.😅

You are right, Hamburgers and lots of other german "cuisines" swappet over to the americas, but that might be due to the fact that Germans were the largest group of european immigrants to the us, before the english, irish, etc.

Check north Germany. We have many beaches, cliffs and 77 islands big and very small 😁

Big sandy beaches are in Rügen the German frisian islands, st Peter Ording ( very big) , Usedom and along the Baltic sea coast.

Weather in Germany very honestly said:
We have long grey and dark winters starting about mid November and lasting until March/April, the Spring sets in, it is getting slightly warmer each day, grey and dark changes to blue skies and sunny.
Late Spring, early Summer will be hot at daytime and quite chilly at nightime.
Summers in Germany are usually a short period of 6-10 weeks of real Summer weather with temps of 35-40°C or even more, warm nights at around 22-25°C and then in late September/Early October autumn/fall sets in and the leaves turn all colours, it is getting rainy and darker, windy.
Winters are not as harsh as they used to be.
As a kid we had huge amounts of snow. Germany was basically covered in it for months.
Now, if it snows one day it was much...and the snow melts instantly.
That is a German year in the South of Germany not in the mountainous area.
The North is very different in weather patterns.
So are the mountain regions and the far East plains and lake district.
Also very different by the seaside.
Warmest and sunniest place in Germany and at the same time most bike/family friendly would be Freiburg im Breisgau ( there are more than one Freiburg (literally Free Castle).
10 minutes to France, half an hour to Switzerland.
    In the Black Forest.
All wanna go to Berlin or Munich...
Berlin is a huge city and has accordingly some sketchy people there. Munich is freaking expensive to live in. The apartments are sooo expensive there, if you manage to find one that is.
If you're thinking about moving to Europe, go ahead and just do it.
Ofc you need to learn the respective language, but not necessairly before you arrive.
    Check it out.
Oh and if I got that right you're from the Philippines, which means there are state contracts between Germany and your place.
You should have it easier to get a job here...and come here to stay.

Weather in Germany is very various. You have the coldest place in the Berchtesgaden Alps (lake Funtensee) with down to -46 °C in winter season and other places in Germany where the temperature is rising up to 41°C during summer time.

Ok, why are we Germans coming to Asia? It's easy to explain, it's just because we haven't seen it ourselves. This is exactly how you have not yet seen Germany yourself, except on film or photos.

Greetings from Passau, Germany! :) If I had to make a list of 25 places to visit in Germany, it would be very different! In my (german) opinion, there are better places to visit ... like the Chiemsee-Lake for example or the island in the north. Did you know that 92 island belongs to Germany? o_O Fun fact: The Chiemsee is a huge lake with mountains in the background. Its so huge that actually two island are located in the lake! But you can get there by boat and don't have to swim... :) In Germany you'll also find a huge waterfall and can visit coal- and saltmines, caves, volcanos (< safe - they are not active anymore, but filled with water to swim in) etc. ... or in other words: Germany is worth a visit! :)

5:15 There's quite a bit of variation. The highest temperature recorded in 2022 was 38°C, the lowest -12°C. It's definitely generally colder than Australia and the Phillipines. But it isn't nearly as cold as people think it is.

It is true that much of the immigration from Germany to America special US-America what most US citizens do not know the largest immigration group were Germans
They were also oppressed to give up their identity and their language they almost spoke German in the USA.
Nevertheless, there are still cities in the USA today that still respect their tradition and their German language.

The grass has been colour "corrected" to make the video look "better". It is kinda obvious when EVERYTHING is the same kind of lush green and red ... when you know that non-perfect lighting gives it a totally different colour.

Why we like to visit Southeast Asia? Well for my part I love the weather, that's true but I love the people there, if Indonesia, Thailand or the Philippines... it's hard to find nicer people somewhere else. I just love it, hope to go back to the Philippines later this year again.

7:10 the grass is always greener on the other side... Everybody wants to see what they don't have at home. Of course most Germans do not live in the areas of outstanding natural beauty, so just going to the Alps or the coast would be very different from their usual surrounding. But then there is the weather and the prices. It can be a lot cheaper to go to an All inclusive 5* Hotel in South East Asia (including flights), than getting the same Standard within Germany . Turkey or North Africa are generally even cheaper than Asia, but not as cool and exotic of a destination.
Also culture in SEA has more of a difference to ours than the closer destinations and it feels more special and mind opening, at least to me it did when lived in Vietnam for 6 months.
And there are of course also the tourists that look for something else entirely, which I am sure is not exactly the clientel you would want to attract... But s*x tourism is very much a thing as well, and unfortunately a sizable portion of the industry. Especially for Thailand, the Philippines and Cambodia.

We'll get our desert "soon enough" [a century or maybe two] ... if that silly global warming isnt fixed. Brandenburg is known as "Streusandbüchse" and a river close by stopped flowing about 15 years ago because of lack of rain upstream.

Beer isnt food? A Bavarian would disagree.

    • @Muck006
      @Muck006 Před 9 měsíci

The PURITANS caused malnutrition amongst the english poor during the late victorian times, when they convinced them to "stop drinking beer and replace it with tea". Since they only ate the (horrible) english "white" bread and drank beer ... they NEEDED the minerals and vitamins from the beer.
I dont drink beer, but I would disagree ... even milk is food.

I think the main reason why you thought Germany just consisted of densly built up cities is probably your experience. You know of Germany possibly from school (WW I and II) and maybe the cars it (NOT she!) exports and maybe some other German exports. You know it's part of the 'west' and automatically associate it with being similar to the US, which you know from the news, movies and it's rather despicable exports of culture (i.e. if you want to call Mc' Donalds, Starbucks, etc 'culture'). So, no Europe isn't the US and doesn't want to emulate it in any way. It is far older and it show's when you visit.
