In this world, it's grill or be grilled.
its 3am and im watching mcdonalds ads from 60s
I wish daily life was still like this..
well not the 60s
🥺 it was a simpler time🥺 The child in the bag is creepy tho (^~^) Of course back in those times people’s kids weren’t ever getting abducted (^~^$
There’s still a town like back then. It’s wonderful. It’s called Harrison, Arkansas.
They had the mob, wars, racism, drugs, dealers, addicts, IRS, assassinations, political turmoil. Which one do you prefer?
@@HardCold-Alquan we have that now.. only way worse..
2:13 "That's a wonderful idea!"
Joseph Bowers so that’s where Toby got Flowey’s voice from...
thats a wonderful idea, ooh, KETCHUP!,
"Crisp, fraysh lettuce"
TheeVenison Productions Hahaha!
Fraysh lettuce
Lol
Back when going to McDonalds was a once in 6 months event.
I practically went all the time in the 90s.
I remember watching this video a lot when I was younger, I used to think it had over 1 million views, I can't believe it just has 100,000 views
2:12 sound familiar....
How did so many Undertale references get into this comment section?
2:40 same...
When that commercial was made, a Big Mac was 2 all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, but no onions yet on a half-sesame seed bun.
Roast beef? Fried chicken? Does amyone have a time machine I want them
I miss 1960s mc Donald's
These old McD's and other FF commercials are quite interesting.
Kids piling into the back of a station wagon! Classic!
This WAS McDonald's from the late 1960s, when its clientele was family oriented, when Ronald McDonald was popular to the youngsters, and definitely long before that sappy "I'm lovin' it" campaign of the early 2000s.
LIAR. OK BOOMER. We loved Ronald McDonald in the early 2000’s. Don’t ever just because 21 and older years olds fuck shit up(^~^)
@@YunikuYosefMomoka dude why tf are you so angry. So sad.
@@benjaminullen3245 Who tf is angry lmao
Those commercials make me hungry
now i know where Arbys got their idea lol

Thanks for sharing.
Holy cats they used to have roast beef & fried chicken?
in the Philippines there's fried chicken in mcdonald's
zle Laborte that sounds masarap
have a bite, its meowtastic!
Guess what? In 1938, when they started, in San Bernadino, they sold HOT DOGS!
The hot dog and fried chicken is well acknolwedged in the movie THE FOUNDER from several years ago (We SEE that fried chicken was still used when Ray Kroc had come and he pissed about it on the golf course in the usual "business" golf.)
8:37 I have seen a lot of McDonalds ads, but never have I seen them actually showing how they prepare so many burgers at once. They always portray it as if they are only making your burger.
Those ARE all my burgers. I got a little hungry that day
these people are over 50's years old.
And probably dead
The kids are likely in their 50s and 60s, the adults probably in their 80s.
Not over their 50s yet Marry its because the commerical was from 1968 67 1965 all away to 66 or late 1965 you probably meant early 50s
Trivia on the roast beef. MCD wanted to deep fry the roasts then slice them in store. But after they bought a slicer for each store they found that the shrinkage from frying meant they could not make a profit at the market price and buying ovens to cook it was not possible. They had to get rid of 1,000 or so slicers on the secondary market. At this point they learned they could not be as free-wheeling as they were in the first few years.
Good info. I wonder why they went with the bbq sauce instead of a horseradish sauce.
Fried chicken? I can't deal.
This is back when it was a treat and not a way of life.
No kidding. Back in the 1960s going to McDonald's or Der Wienerschnitzel was a treat, something my family did usually on the weekends either before or after we would drive to visit my Grandparents. It's not special any longer.
it still is a treat for most people
@Dark Dragon 772 I know. I seen the movie too.
BUT it's not just McDonald's it can be other junk food too that we are obsessed with eating
My grandma always used to go to mcdonalds when she was a kid in the 60s and that location still is there.
Bro how old are you because my abuela was already a young adult by the time these commercials aired. (Though my family is Peruvian and I'm not sure McDonald's had franchises by then)
Interesting seeing these old commercials; I think the last time I went to McDonalds though was for breakfast my first morning in Malta when I was on vacation in 2016.
6:14 oh this part again. I loved to replay this part in 2018 and 2019. I thought it was its own video but its only appearence is here.
ah yes, wouldn't we all like some crisp, fraish lettuce?
RONALD: Oh, what a beautiful day for fun! what would you like to do?
"Let's destroy everything in this wretched world. Everyone, everything in these worthless memories... *Let's turn 'em all to dust."*
RONALD: That's a Wonderful Idea!
Robbie Norris Hahaha!
xboxed720 Ronald McDonald always understood🥺
back when kids liked clowns; and were'nt scared of them...
Compilation of early 1968 Jollibee Commercials (USA, Minnesota)
Commercials were sure different back in the 50s & 60s!!!
I love The Big Mac 😀😇😎🍟
FRAYSH LETTUCE
Patrick Stump
I want a regular hamburger and fries now
I got to head to McDonald's for some of that fried chicken and roast beef. Yum.
3:52 the big mac is born
Ronald McDonald from the 60s is creepier than today.
Alanis the Great DS
^^^Triggered^^^
Morons like Alanis there are why America is wussified.
@@Guiltless765 60s Ronald says "I'm no stranger, I'm Ronald McDonald! I'll prove it to you by giving you some free food!" 😂
Wouldnt it be cool to see them try and remake one of these commercials?
It is like a timecapsule for another world.
Even with a potato quality this cormecial still makes me hungry
2:55 And then Ronald ate the kid. The end.
This is the first time that I heard that they had chicken.
The Spongebob Hemepants Commercial With Ronald McDonald
It wasn't Willard Scott any more by then. You can tell as soon as Ronald starts speaking.
Fun fact: McDonald’s markets towards children so they grow up and eat there as adults. They want the cycle to continue as long as possible
I wish McDonald's made the big Mac like it did when I worked there, making the big Mac, in the very early 80's :))
Compilation of late 197th decade McDonalds Commercial (USA)
This is the true worth of McDonald's of the late 1960s, long before their clientele changed and they had that sappy "I'm lovin' it" campaign.
And to think the " I'm lovin' it " campaign has lasted the longest of all of their advertising campaigns.
What! All those kids piled into that contraption with no safety belts, or restraints? An open back window, with no seats for them to sit in, not even airbags!?!?! And where are all the cell phones, iPads and headphones?!?!?!?
Um 1960s?
I don't know how we weren't ejected from the vehicle on a daily basis. We should have been stricken with crippling cancerous tumors from breathing in all that exhaust from leaded fuel combustion.
I didn't know they had fried chicken and roast beef. The big mac was for real not the $20 dollar version today, the meat no bigger than a pickle.
2:14 F L O W E Y R E F E R E N C E
McDonald's had roast beef and fried chicken in 1968--who did they think they were, Roy Roger's?
I still love eating their Chicken Mcnuggets (even though they never existed at this time), sometimes I love eating a plain chicken sandwich!
the founder brought me here
5:49 lol
When we had real old fashioned food
JoeEastern it was new fashioned back then
Deltarune Chapter 6 final boss will be like 2:13
Someone should remake these compilations.
It's time for a less controversial and more logical world + will not mean any inconvenient sacrifice! I'm going to turn every McDonald's into McCopperbottom's in SNAP!
"Roast beef at McDonalds? Mah GAAAAAWD!!!"
McDonald's always has been ghe real deal for many many years until Ray Kroc came into the picture taking it all to own himself selling good burgers people eating it getting drive thru think about 1960s 1970s 1980s and 1990s but back when I was elementary school Ronald McDonald from McDonalds Restaurant was my childhood coming to school passing out Happy Meals that still stay in my memory cause he was black but he was real deal Ronald McDonald my dad was born in 1960s and went to school in the 60s during this time around McDonalds was out there.

Baby boomers ALWAYS get the Good Stuff!
that aint true
Those "little people" are way in their 60s now!
5:48 Demon?
Yes 😮🤪👿👻
they tasted like hostess without the frosting.
Can't show a Ronald McDonald clown today as the idea of a clown is all of a sudden too scary and the sheep get triggered.
Richard Federico Scot Willard (Today show guy) as the real Ronald McDonald is scary to me.
Christine Stone its Willard Scott and he was funny
Nothing like doing a mcdonalds commercial the day after dad saw your report card and gave you a man's jab to the eye 👁. Poor kid 😢
I miss the fried apple pies.
Jennifer Harris yeah, I loved them. the filling was always hot, Unlike this baked crap they got now.
And they used to have sprinkled sugar on top. The stuff they have now is crap
Still sold today.
Yeah, it really was no big deal if you piled eight kids into a station wagon in those days. Seat belt laws have done a lot to limit family size, LOL.
3:31 1000 Island Dressing
now the commercial is (bu da ba ba)
I know somebody that knew one of the original Ronald McDonalds no joke
The Brady bunch at the beginning
McDonalds had roast beef sandwiches back then?
Q. McHale Guess So
This McDonald's started in 1955 five years later the ad startrd
Not surprising. They’ve always experimented with different products. No different from the McLobster Sandwich.. and what they have out now with the Thai chicken..sure they were selling pizza for awhile back in the 90s
They tried them but found there was no profit for them.
1956
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MC.DONALDS , DESPITE I FEEL YOU NEED TO REDUCE THE PRICE'S AT MC.DONALDS BECAUSE THEY'RE GETTING HIGH AND PRICEY 🎉
i never heard of mcdonalds roast beef sandwich. that had to to be the inspiration for arbys ?

yo creo que el minuto 4:00 ese logo es lo mismo que los años 1968 al 2003 al recodar al restaudant mcd's saludos de monterrey nl mexico ;-)
And some crisp "fraysh" lettuce.
Does McDonald's first corp owner Ray Kroc appear at 0:36?

Roast beef look good
Do they use romaine or iceberg? Nope. Fraysh lettuce all the way.

Music to our ears, is pretty unusual than I've never thought.
What? McDonald's roast beef and fried chicken? it goes to show that they tried certain item over and over, over the years.

4:00 wait....

Where's part 2?
I have a question.
Right at the time, McDonald's was releasing their "New Big Mac", a Cartoon commercial aired in the Columbus/Dayton, Ohio market that featured a caveman.
The overly-dramatic voiceover said something like, "Throughout history..." and the cartoon featured a caveman sneaking up on a dinosaur and biting its tail. The dinosaur kept looking to see what it was, but the caveman was still biting his tail. I think the text was: Throughout history, man has known that if you have a bigger than average appetite, you shouldn't try to carry your lunch--but rather stop by a McDonald's for a New Big Mac--the Triple-Decker Meal Disguised as a sandwich".
Or, "So if you know someone who harbors a longing for a hearty mean, tell him about McDonald's New Big Mac!"
I was just wondering if that 2-D cartoon commercial might be available somewhere.
I'm pretty sure it was aired between 1968 and 1970.
Thanks Very Much!
I'm eat a mcdonalds burger right now ...
Back when hamburgers were king now it seems like everyone wants cheeseburgers
