We live in a culture full of music. Music is a wonderful gift God has given us. Music is universal. Whether Orchestra, Band, Choir or music therapy. It can be used to soothe the soul. It is amazing how sometimes when someone is feeling depressed or anxious, a song can lift them up. Whether music for congregational worship, resonating through the chapel, the classroom or recital, be it instrumental or vocal the study and practice of music holds a unique place in the history of Augsburg and the world. Music is capable of expressing a variety of moods and feelings, joy and sorrow, hope and fear, or faith and doubt. Making music, sharing music during these very challenging and isolating times of sheltering in place, creates community and connectivity. Steve, we’re living in a world that has gone mad! It’s becoming more like Sodom & Gomorrah with each passing day! We all better pray for all the lost souls; Eternity is forever!! Morals, compassion, kindness, love for others respect for human life, etc. are all but gone! I see more & more of it everyday. 2nd Chronicles 7:14 is what the Lord said it would take to cure the sin sickness permeating this world; our country. The main thing on our mind should be lost souls. Christians need to understand that most people in this world are lost & they need Jesus, & there’s not much time left in order to reach them. My husband & I do care & pray for everyone going through terrible times, however; our Lord says in His Word that these things would come to pass before He returns. Jesus made it clear that just as He was persecuted; we would be persecuted also for His Name’s sake. Therefore; our main focus is the Salvation Message, Acts chapters 1, 2, & 10 because each & every one is facing Eternity in Heaven, or in Hell! There’s only one plan of Salvation in the Bible & that’s found in Acts 2 & 10. What’s sad is that there are so many false Prophets preaching & teaching a false doctrine, & because people believe their lies & consider themselves saved; it’s a snare of the devil that they can’t even see.😢 Brother, we’re very sorry about Candice, & your other daughter & please know that you & your family are in our prayers. Steve, we’re living in a world that has gone mad! It’s becoming more like Sodom & Gomorrah with each passing day! We all better pray for all the lost souls; Eternity is forever!! Morals, compassion, kindness, love for others respect for human life, etc. are all but gone! I see more & more of it everyday. 2nd Chronicles 7:14 is what the Lord said it would take to cure the sin sickness permeating this world; our country. The main thing on our mind should be lost souls. Christians need to understand that most people in this world are lost & they need Jesus, & there’s not much time left in order to reach them. My husband & I do care & pray for everyone going through terrible times, however; our Lord says in His Word that these things would come to pass before He returns. Jesus made it clear that just as He was persecuted; we would be persecuted also for His Name’s sake. Therefore; our main focus is the Salvation Message, Acts chapters 1, 2, & 10 because each & every one is facing Eternity in Heaven, or in Hell! There’s only one plan of Salvation in the Bible & that’s found in Acts 2 & 10. What’s sad is that there are so many false Prophets preaching & teaching a false doctrine, & because people believe their lies & consider themselves saved; it’s a snare of the devil that they can’t even see.😢
