The story has been told so many times. If nobody here knows how Naruto got the Nine-Tails, then you, objectively, live under a rock. Alright alright. I’m just picking. You don’t live under a rock. Just very close to one. Naruto was born on the night that the village was thrown into turmoil. The Nine-Tails was set free, and in a moment of freedom and vengeance, having been trapped in a cage of human chakra since the era of the First Hokage, nearly 70 years. Having tasted freedom for such a short time, Kurama attempted to lay waste to those who would threaten him. A Gentle creature, and a force of nature, forced to the provocation of wrath for being mistreated. Honestly, I feel like this was a grand mistake of Hashirama Senju. Capturing the Tailed-Beasts and subjecting them to the rule of the great shinobi nations. Way to drop the ball on that, Hashirama-sama. But at the same time, I won’t accuse him, as this would have happened anyway. However, befriending Kurama would have been better than sealing him away if it were possible. But I guess this is just where the cookie crumbles. Hashirama was a great human being, but he was just that. A human being. So it is only understandable that he makes mistakes. Still doesn’t change that he and Minato are among my favorite Hokage. In fact, Naruto is actually really low on my list of Hokage, only beating out Hiruzen. We don’t talk about Danzo. He technically wasn’t even Hokage. He was lord fifth-and-a-half. Not even worthy of being on the rock. Wait, what was I talking about again? …Uh… hmm… Oh yeah! So anyway, Kurama gets pulled out of Kushina, the Red-Hot Chili Pepper of the Leaf dies, and Baby bean Naruto ends up having to have the Nine-Tails sealed into him. D’aw. He’s adorable. But something big should be noted. When Minato seals Kurama away, he only seals half into Naruto. The Yang half. Minato keeps the Yin to himself which he drags to the Shinigami’s stomach along with him. Minato knew from the start that Naruto wouldn’t be able to handle the full Nine-Tails, which is why he divided Kurama’s power in half. But… I wonder… what if Naruto managed to get all of Kurama?

The thing is Naruto got the evil side of Kurama, i think Kurama would help Naruto through his adventures from time to time, because Kurama isn't actually that evil.
Just because he was separated into good and evil halves doesn’t mean he’s half good. The tailed beasts are full of so much evil and hatred, that simply being around their chakra will kill a normal person from chakra poisoning. And the other tailed beasts are way way nicer than Kurama who’s twice their size and nine times as strong, and all this only because his deep hatred made him grow to massive size.
@@KnuttyEntertainment idk where you got the chakra poisoning thing. But most of the tailed beasts are typically mistrustful but only Shukaku and Kurama are described as actively hateful of humanity. The 8 the 7 the 6 were all pretty chill with people.

@@Prince_Luci They explain it when Naruto goes 4 tails. One of his tails brushes against Sakura’s arm and gives her a little scrape. But then she’s out in searing pain because the hatred in the chakra poisons her and she can’t heal it, and needs Yamato to suck the Nine tails chakra out. Remember, this is the same Sakura that cured Sasori’s super poison in the previous arc.
@@KnuttyEntertainment They don't claim it's the "hatred" in the chakra, rather simply the density. This makes significantly more sense, considering Tailed Beasts are just giant sentient masses of highly dense and powerful chakra. Too much of anything is toxic to the body, and that much exposure to something so concentrated and powerful would DEFINITELY fuck you up.
The Yang half was inherently more malicious. I don’t think Kurama would act like that with both halves balancing each other out.

The way I see it is that the yin half decided to cooperate with Minato after he saw Naruto and his other half become partners
Well, I don’t think so. If it balanced out, kurama wouldn’t have attacked the village. Or kurama would’ve just ran away or something. And Yang kurama was already cooperating with naruto by the time minato showed up in the great ninja war so Yin kurama could’ve just… known… idk. Also minato probably talked to kurama in the afterlife or something. Idk that’s what I think tho

You forgot a key-thing. A full-blooded Uzumaki like Kushina can survive a tailed beast extraction. Minato would still be using the reaper death seal and be sealed into the Shinigami, but Kushina would survive, as she only died in the original timeline when Kurama turned her and Minato into Donuts. This wouldn't happen since her Chakra Chains wouldn't loosen as the kyuubi is not being split. She could have survived the whole thing and ended up helping her son control the Ninetails as well as she did.
Kushina was already dying after the extraction. She would not live long enough to see Naruto grow up.

What's crazy is that we never saw Naruto with both halfs of Kurama until after shippuden. Imagine how many people he'd end up killing in the main series.
The 9 tails would have definitely broke the seal if it was the full 9 tails so it really wouldn't be a series

While i want to agree. I think Itachi was resigned to his fate and knew his story would end with Sasuké and would maintain his cover until that time. Only after he’s reanimated does he give that game up and is just honest with sasuké.
@@shakurwright2522 unless Naruto accidentally killed him while nine tails raging, i don’t see that as a possibility. The closest he got was against Haku who intentionally missed vital spots to preserve him. After that there’s not really any point where’s he’s in absolute mortal danger. Rock Lee kicked him in the mouth, Orochimaru wanted his body intact, the sound four jump him with the intent to entice him with their power, Naruto wasn’t going to kill him at the battle of the end. Not that he couldn’t with the full power of Kurama, but really the only time Sasuke was in absolute peril for his life before the war arc was when he ran up on killer bee like he was hot shit. Sasuké doesn’t die. Especially not with a Naruto twice as powerful. If anything he’d be MORE powerful having trained with a guy like that for years.

Honestly, my interpretation is that the hokage likely would’ve asked the raikage to assist Naruto in learning how to be a proper jinchuriki by letting him meet B much earlier. This would likely be after the land of waves arc in place of the chunin exams. Naruto would come back to the village probably around the time of the final matches with something of an understanding with Kurama. He doesn’t have chakra mode or anything like that, but he’s intrigued by Naruto and kinda wants to see where things go if he gives him a little of his chakra. I don’t have time to continue, so I’ll just leave things here
I think this is pretty unlikely because I can’t see hiruzen trusting the raikage after the huyga kidnapping incident

Nothing major would change actually. Minato would still use the Reaper Death Seal/Dead Demon Consuming Seal in combination with the Eight Trigrams Seal. Naruto's Seal is litterally powered by the Shinigami the litteral death god. The seal would hold just the way it did in the series. Naruto would just have way worse chakra control and far more chakra at his disposal meaning far more shadow clones and even faster training.
I doubt that the seal almost failed multiple times when Naruto only had half the 9 tails.
@@dragontyrant5607 The seal opens up more with age so that the Bijuu chakra can be absorbed/integrated into Naruto's reserves. It needs to be tightened and checked up more. He'd also need a better environment to grow up in and have people teach him emotional control. That's pretty much all.

I like the ideas and creativity but since this ended way too soon in OG Naruto before Tsunade Recovery Mission, I wonder, would Itachi do something even with his illness once he learns Sasuke dies, like what if he got suspicious of Tobi and spied on him, figured out his Tsukuyomi plan and then got the rest of the Akatsuki including Pain to go against Tobi and kill him. Then what would happen??

I dont think this is anywhere close to how this would go the other half of kurama is known for being his hood half meaning yes he would be WAY more powerful for the earlier parts of the series but he would also probably end up mastering and befriending kurama much faster because of the nicer natured fox spirit now within him

Well here is there thing people have confused. Reaper death seal works as such, you can pull out as much soul as you have chakra, such is the reason hiruzen only got orochimarus arms. That being said minato couldn’t have sealed the whole of karama in Naruto if he wanted to.

@@just_an_internet_explorer8038 He literally couldn't. He doesn't have enough chakra to seal an entire nine-tails with the reaper death seal. It wasn't Minato that made Kushina a jinchuriki it was an Uzumaki.
@@Kezzex he could’ve if he used a different sealing technique. The only reason he used the death reaper seal was because Minato's main goal here is to prevent the Kyuubi from being revived into the world to run wild (and also potentially be captured by who he believed was Madara). The other half he put into Naruto with the hopes that Naruto would one day turn into Ninja-Jesus.
By sealing half of it into himself with Shiki Fujin, he is insuring that no one will ever have complete access to the Kyuubi's power, because half of it will be inside Minato, who will be dead. And you can't really do anything about that.

If you consider that Yin was good and Yang was bad then wouldn’t they cancel each other out and leave a relatively docile but hostile Kurama? It may have been easier to befriend Kurama if both halves were in him. If you think about the AU you made recently when you said if Naruto had Yin, Kurama was a lot nicer and treated Naruto like his son. I feel like that nice nature would counter Yang’s hate and once realising that Naruto really had no part to play in his imprisonment other than being unlucky, Kurama would be nicer and probably help Naruto along the way.
I like your idea and I'd rather not have an ending where the world is under infinite tsukiyomi.

Kurama was neither manipulative nor patient enough to corrupt him (which is a real shame given the fact he's based around the Kitsune). But let's imagine that the Nine Tails was actually Azula. And like Pain, she managed to make enough sense through out his life. What would the end result be ?
Because the Kurama that was sealed within him was the more prideful and malevolent one. If Minato had chosen the darker Kurama as the one who was going to be sealed inside of Naruto, there'd have been a crap ton of manipulation going on
@@zeinmets3550 I'll be honest, I always forget about that part of his character, that he's divided in two. And it makes sense Minato wouldn't lock the darker one inside Naruto, since it's easier to tame a prideful peackock instead of a slythering centopede.
Still, as a kitsune, you'd think the more prideful one would at the very least behave more like either Azula or Ozai. Manipulative, but never putting up a role in which they appear inferior (every role they play always has some sort of prestige accompanying them).

I also think kurama wouldn't be that viscous. I don't think Haku and Zabuza would be killed but I think they would defeated more easily. I also think Jiraiya would teach Naruto to control the ninetails chakra and it would be a shorter fight with Orochimaru and Kabuto when looking for Tsunade. I also think that it maybe a problem as Madara would get all of the ninetails chakra and Naruto would die meaning the infinite eye of the moon would be cast and the world would end.

One thing I'm confused about is the fact that the yin half of kurama is lowkey agreeable(but we never know he might've been even worse than yang kurama for all we know) but then the yang half is just the embodiment of pure malice and hatred
You might have gotten them mixed up but I would have to check because Yin is the smart half and Yang is said to be the dumb half which was why Minato gave Naruto the Yang half so that way Naruto has a chance of teaming up with him
