I have painted these beautiful bombers for 21 years. I put my hands on both of these aircrafts
Awesome
Rip to those wearing headphones
What is that colour called its amazing
Lucky Man!!!!
That’s amazing
I’m British through and through, but damn did the Americans nail it with this bird! Awesome bit of kit. Gotta be up there with the Vulcan
True. If someone would pay for the gas, this would be an outstanding way to travel the world.
Now that's a great compliment coming from a Brit! The Vulcan indeed set the bar very high for beautiful aircraft design.
Arado!!
Vulcan was a stunner and an air show jaw dropper…obviously a generation before B1. B1 has almost 3x the range and 3x payload. Top speed also 40% quicker but they cruise at roughly same speed according to wiki data. Both aircraft delivered when needed. I naively hope this type of aircraft is not needed at some point!
Yeah, Rockwell rocks well.
The Bone... a bomber who flies like a fighter... hard to believe these birds are over 30 years old and still look new!!! God, I love my country🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Word.
I have had the pleasure of watching and hearing these fly close above me and the video does not do it justice. The sound and feel of the awesome power will send a cold chill down your spine.
Massive awe and respect to the pilots of these birds.
i am also proud to say working on the flightline at pac site in palmdale was a awesome job thank you to all the great mechanics who were always willing to teach me the skills they had kenny elder was a supervisor i will never forget
They've been at RAF Fairford for a while, flew back home this week. 😢
Right seat: "Colonel, sir, there might be some wake turbulence from the aircraft that just took off."
Left seat: "Punch it, captain."
That number 1 afterburner appears to have a slight case of the Mondays. Beautiful Plane!
Because once the afterburner dispel so hot flames turn into white thanks!!!
@@bigbodyg35 he was referring to the AB Ignitors themselves not wanting to kick off like #'s 2 3 and 4 did rather quickly.
Combining the love of fighter jets and heavies into one, a plane spotter's dream.
the lovely b1 s Are awesome love the afterburners engines 😊😊
I seen a Bone set off a parking lot of car alarms once. The videos never really do justice to just how loud those engines are and how much they shake everything in the area. Only thing I can compare it to is like watching a rocket launch, or watching a Top Fuel Dragster leave the line. You feel it in your bones.
Love these planes! They look so cool.
There's Maximum Power, then there's Rockwell Power.
Fucking damn right brother!
You completely forgot about the VULCAN BOMBER......no contest!!!!!! no comparison...no compromise....no longer flying " sigh"
The B-1 is just so awesome 😎
Incredible aircraft.
Elegant and graceful like no other. And it's a war machine😯
I've been near B-1s on takeoff. I have never experienced anything that is louder and shakes a larger area.
yeah no kidding, ive honestly just ordered some ear defenders incase i go again !
I was at an air show in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and the B1 was there. On take-off, once the plane was slightly out of ear range, we could hear thousands of car alarms squealing from the spectator parking areas. The B1 literally scared them. lol
They were at my second base of McConnell back in the early 90's and we had a post at the end of the runway, very loud and very impressive on takeoff
its the 3 decade Loudest aircraft in current service holder
Also the amount of fuel that comes out of the thing, horrible.
Marvellous takeoff 🤩👍
The ground shakes, the air shakes, your rib cage vibrates ..
Sure does! I used to sit right behind them on takeoff in my jeep at Edwards AFB when I was active duty.
The brits are good sports about all that noise. Most people would throw a fit about it.
lol, what an awesome noise
Sound of freedom.
They have little choice, those USAF bombers protect their country, they cant afford its
Bring the noise, Mildenhall Air Fetes in 1990s with the B-1B always setting off the car alarms 🤣
Lancers looking great.
Loudest aircraft I ever heard... and that was standing by the junkyard by 03R at Nellis.
The B-1 is a BEAST!
It would be lovely if they came to New Zealand such a beautiful aircraft
In the video, it looks like the acceleration & speed is slow, but the real thing is that the acceleration should be brutal!--- 4 engines + 4 afterburners ... nice video!
Just amazing
I've seen one of these fly at Cosford before it sounded incredible!
Beautiful noise.
I didn't know that any of today's B-1s carried nuclear weapons - thought they were relegated to carrying conventional payloads. I remember the prototype was built around the time the Space Shuttle was (round 1977). There were some technical problems that hadn't been worked out, and Jimmy Carter nixed purchasing them - he called them a big white turkey. Reagan ordered around 200 of them in 1981; however, Congress cut it back to 100. There used to be an air reserve unit at Robins AFB near where I live that had B-1's; however, Bush Lite's Secretary of Defense, Rumsfeld, took that unit out and put them at Dyess AFB if not mistaken. I think it's a wonderful looking warbird. Can fly around 500 feet off the ground with an automated system with the geometric wings pulled out - go under Soviet radar and drop the payload. However, with standoff weapons, we only need to have to go near the enemy. When they see them on radar, they know we mean business. I love this part of the nuclear triad - you can call them back at some point. Can't do that with a launched missile.
you are correct they no longer have nuclear capability
They are capable of carrying NUCLEAR EQUIPPED Cruise missiles.
All the arming and fusing wiring for nuclear weapons was removed from the B-1B to comply with the START treaty. By 2011 no B-1s were nuclear capable any more, that job is handled by the B-52H and B-2, and eventually the new B-21 when that comes online.
I love that jet
I love it
Beautiful beast!
Просто отстой по сравнению с нашим ТУ-160.
I remember these over East Anglia in the 70s, probably going into Woodbridge? They were painfully loud even at altitude.
Think you talking bout the F111 s that were based at lakenheath and Upper Heyford...... B 1bs have never been permanently based here and I belive the 1st visit by a B 1 was in 1987
wicked!!!
I just love your new video & fantastic to watch.
This and the Tu-160 are beautiful aircraft that I could watch all day.
Damn good video
thanks Jonathan , it was worth the 280mile round trip for me and crazy early start !
Don’t you just hate it when one of your afterburners doesn’t light up 🤔
Propulsione davvvvvero impressionante !
Flying battleship 👍✈️
bad boys there!
Is it mandatory to use afterburner in taking off? Or is it automatically applied when full throttle?
The B-1B cannot take off without afterburner. It's too heavy.
@caudleryan123
I'd have to see some 'citation' on a statement such as that.
All an aircraft has to do to 'takeoff, is to achieve its particular 'takeoff' speed; and 'rotate' the aircraft.
Perhaps the B1-b Lancer can easily do that, on an AFB runway, without the use of 'afterburners'¿☆? 😮😮
Hành khách đi trễ, ngủ quên, không nghe loa phát, quên đọc chỉ dẫn...
084 was always a good jet !
A feast for the eyes
wot time do they return in the evening?
For anyone not aware there is a button on the nosewheel leg that starts the engines in a scramble.....so by the time the crew are strapped in time to roll !
Goosebumps for 5 minutes
Were these loaded? Seemed to take for ever to get airborn.
And n o W.... Theyze back!!
The Wright brothers would be so proud to see what we have done with there invention .
B1 va b52 B's b2 which I is best?
My favorite
Uau chou.d.+
I'd say it's the most sinister looking aircraft there is.
Time to use them.
I worked on DoD tarmac Davis Monthan AFB, The Bonz would THUNDER OUR HEADS.
I've been painting b1 along with many other airframes @ Tinker for 21 years. By far my favorite
Those guys snicker at "wake turbulence"
Are those the same engines as concorde? If not they look very similar
They don't look similar, they aren't even close to the same engine.
My little Pukin! Nutin Door Dash.
Oh? Were we early? Your meal is hot.
Các máy bay sau khi hạ cánh phải rẽ vào lối được chỉ định sẵn cho họ ngay lập tức... và chỉ đi ra đường băng chính khi có hiệu lệnh, dung giờ...sau khi đã checking mọi thứ.
Awesome
See those yellow curtains in the cockpit ? Those are blinds they close to protect their eyes when they drop nukes from the flash .
✈️😍
Cant they take off without 3 1/2 or 4 afterburners?
lol i dont know, just glad i timed the zoom in perfectly
The throttle on that engine most likely wasn't pushed far enough forward at the time.
Is that a Sniper Pod?
Its a crying shame this big bird isnt flying at RIAT this year
Thanks for watching captain & commander LABonte air mobility command patriot wing commander, a 34 year combat service veteran and reconnaissance pilot DBA , dah BONE MAN
What was going on with the first planes left afterburner?
lol yeah i know it was like watching some1 with a cheap lighter trying to light a cigarrette on a windy day !
crew may have not pushed the throttle forward enough into afterburner. They got it just before releasing the brakes tho
Yep
It's the loudest thing ever made by humans fact! If the afterburners show up Your bones will be shaking and there's a small earthquake in a 3 mile radius.
I wonder how far off you can hear these?
I noticed these bombers are carrying targeting pods
Does anyone know when they go home?
b1 and b52 here for june, b2 could go home anytime i think, keep eye on fighter control forum and facebook groups

Just to be clear, there are no B-1's, the program was canceled before it ever got started. 🤔
It was, however, reinvigorated by the President Reagan administration, as the B-1b Lancer, which is what we now see. 😉
It looks very much the same, but at the same time, is considerably different. 🤫

Bad to the BONE
I own this in gta
It still beats the hell out of me why the USAF are spending billions of $$$ on that dinosaur B52.when they have these beauties sitting in the desert.
#2:00
That's ok?
Sexiest looking bird in the USAF today.
Dovrebbero darespinta legermente poi alzare alettoni verso 280km.h x avere più.impenata

After watching some starts of TU-160 this plane looks like a toy.
Beauttiful birds. It is sad, though, that it is necessary in our world to build defensive and offensive planes specifically to destroy and kill.
