I watched so much of the Euros this year with my mum and we were absolutely sobbing and cheering hysterically when the final whistle blew in that thrilling final, it really felt like the game had changed! We still talk about it with such fond memories and we recently went to our first football match together to see Arsenal women play at the Emirates. I remember seeing Alex Scott on the very rare occasion women’s football was shown on tv when I was a kid and it’s wonderful to see her still so involved with the women’s game ❤️ the current Lionesses would not be where they are now were it not for those like Alex Scott who came before ❤️
