This song is legendary. Nothing sounds like it. One of my favorite songs, ever. The opening is so crazy and hectic it is blooming with personality and vivid imagery. The transition into the back end is just greatness. The last part is just so overflow of greatness. It is so catchy and gives me life, really.

Incredible song. the video fantastic. The elevated line that goes over the belt parkway into Coney Island. At that point was the best visual sequence in the video. Same subway stop was also shown at the beginning and end of "the Warriors" amazing!!!

By the NYC graffiti writer REVS, published in a photo book of portraits of writers called AutoGraf compiled/edited by Peter Sutherland. Go check that out while you bump this if you want to take the whole listening experience up another level.
Its super cool how RatKing felt like a direct connection to the NYC graff world and just the city kids of the 90s, yet musically they were undeniably new-something that felt like 90s hiphop but was based on 808 patterns and layers of noise. Great moment in music, sad they broke up.

Rumour has it that one time Oloff was sat next to Jar Jar Binks on a flight. Jar Jar kept kicking the chair in front of him and generally being obnoxious, nobody knew what to do. Eventually one of the flight attendants came over and asked Oloff if he would perform one of his songs to calm Jar Jar down, and when Oloff began rapping the first verse to Doing It Stealthy, Jar Jar immediately relaxed. To this day the two are still close friends.
