Im thinking of adding a hose reel to my new northstar. Your configuration looks close to what im after. Did you just thru-bolt it or use rivnuts or what? Hows it holding up? Northstar used 20ga metal mount for the accessories.

Changing tips didn't help much. If you want it to work at optimum you need to be 6-8" minimum from target. Different, of course, if the surface is a soft material. A sharper angle of attack improves the effectiveness greatly
