Touch of Evil (1958) by Orson Welles, Clip: A pianola plays, Hank Quinlan enters & Dietrich appears!

The Image: The listless, wind strewn paper engulfed yard in front of the Cabaret joint (aestheticoftheimage4.files.wo...) with that mawkish endlessly looping pianola aestheticoftheimage4.files.wo... Welles as a huge, candy eating, one-legged, thuggish (embittered, of course!) police office aestheticoftheimage4.files.wo... ('some kind of man' as Tana later observes)
...and of course, Dietrich languidly smoking a cigar and pausing when she encounters Quinn, exhaling smoke - and then calmly announcing, "We're closed" - a mini 10 second wonder of cinema (1:19-) & aestheticoftheimage4.files.wo... (!) - what more could you want?

* I know Orson Welles technically makes his first appearance about 8 minutes before, struggling out of a car at the bombed car crime scene (aestheticoftheimage4.files.wo...) but I just liked my title!
I also know I have posted scenes from this movie before - but film-noir drenched films like this are just so good that I have to press that upload button again!
