David Peralta cracks SO MANY jokes for us! | Peralta, Tigers' Spencer Torkelson MIC'D UP (Play Loud)

- On the latest for Play Loud, we had D-backs' OF David Peralta and Tigers 1B Spencer Torkelson mic'd up for us! Peralta became best friends with the producers and cameramen for the show, talking to them from his mic. And then he started talking to himself when no one was talking to him too! Torkelson marveled at the power of teammate Javy Báez, and had a great conversation at 1st with Peralta! On top of all that, Peralta gave us amazing stories, including one about him and Tigers legend Miguel Cabrera!

Was present for Peralta's MLB debut and first hit. He's a family favorite and we love sitting in the LF bleachers. David always tosses a ball towards a kid after warming up in between innings. Everything a pro ball player should be and a great family man on top of that.
Love it. He speaks the truth about kids and MLB players. My first was Tony Gwynn. I like Peralta. Good player, and funny man. Glad to see he never forget where he came from.
He is so awesome, he at the start of every game sprints to left field and gets the crowd pumped I love it. More players need to be like him

These mic'd up broadcasts are one of the best things MLB has done in a long while. It really let's some of these players' personalities be showcased, which has helped build up the casual fanbase. The pace of play and boosting offense stuff has been good, but baseball has had so few marketable superstars like other sports until recently and stuff like this is definitely helping. I'm not saying Peralta is a superstar but these broadcasts can only help.
Good grief who gives a s h i t if baseball’s fan base is boosted… Either you play and enjoy it or you watch it and enjoy it.

He seems like a really chill guy. Like if there was a fight at a party, he would jump in and make both sides laugh so hard, they would stop and forget they were fighting. That’s a good type of chill. 😂

These are so cringe
