- A rundown of my compact New York apartment guitar studio updated for 2024. Several new pieces of music gear have come in the past year and I figured it was time for an update!
This studio is located in a small side bedroom of a 2BR apartment in New York--so space is at a premium here. This video shows you how I make the most of my space and what equipment has been the most impactful!

You have soooo many additions that it is almost an all-brand-new studio.
That’s all a guitarist needs right there for sure. I have the xl+ as well and I love ax edit in the daw. Endless possibilities between the fractal or the daw plugins.
I could sit and record non stop on your setup for days without eating 🤣 looks like a great creative space 👍
Totally agree--AFX plus Axe Edit is truly all you could ever reasonably need! Pretty much any sound you can think of can be reached!
As for the days without eating... yeah, I definitely forget to eat in here sometimes 😂 thanks for watching!

My listening position is surprisingly not bad and I'm able to mix well in here, but if you move about the room the frequency buildup in certain spots it's pretty ridiculous

Not really, they usually just stand there and do nothing.
Tidy. When I had my axe fx 2 I tried putting it under my monitor but it really didn’t work for me. I have an fm9 now.

Got it mostly for vocals, but I've been told it's great to bounce a track through as a "color box". Got more experimenting to do with it, but impressed so far! I messed with it for guitar saturation too.

what's that dual monitor stand? I've been looking for a sturdy one since my desk doesn't allow for the clamp type
These are standing mounts by Pyle USA. They're very sturdy!
I always wondered if HEDD & ADAM AUDIO were the same company Coz their monitors look identical
The owner of HEDD Audio worked for Adam for years. Eve Audio also comprises of former Adam personel.

I have deferring opinions on this, I dig the stingray tone but only when it’s in someone else’s hands. Anytime ive had a stingray in my own hands I’ve just found myself not able to gel with it at all and have ended up moving them on
