My favorite disc, works great for both forehands and backhand. I'm 90% a forehand player. Lost my first insanity recently and just got 2 new ones and bunch of other axiom I wanted to try :) This thing goes far, it flies like a distance but it feels so good in my hand regardless of how I grip it.
I'm a new player, just a little over a month. The insanity was one of the first discs I picked up and it has grown into my favorite disc to throw over the past month. I find myself constantly reaching for it. It feels great on the forehand and backhand. I can throw it straight and even add a little intentional shape to some of my shots. It's easily my favorite disc right now.
I have 2 of these bad boys, 168g fission and 160g proton. The fission is the shot shaper and the proton for me is fairly more stable and has become my wind fighter. Virus for my understable/roller.... great vid! Thanks for the reviews👍🏽👍🏽
Insanity is my favourit driver out there! Have too many of them, but am bagging 3 of them right now, cosmic neutron for it give me more overstability, a plasma that gives me more stability and the fission plastic that gives me the extra understability. Like why buy different disc for those things when a insanity can do it all XD.
I also found a similar flight with a 166g proton insanity. CN insanity is 0 1.5 for me. I was planning to replace a lost proton virus but proton insanity can achieve similar flights for me.
I bag 5 Insanity's... A 157 and 167 fission that are flippy, a 167 neutron that is straight with a little fade, a 173 proton that's a little more stable than my neutron, and a 173 eclipse that is beefier then all the Tesla's I've thrown. The fission is even more Flippy than my virus.
I need to buy another one in fission because my plasma insanity is way more stable than the numbers suggest. It turns very little, unless thrown into a strong headwind.
My man.... I started with x-plastic avenger ss, later got a Diamond & Essence... Picked up a lightweight fission Insanity kinda on accident with axiom starter pack (someone at store swapped it?)... My goodness, first driver I felt like my noodle arm can throw with absolute fun - esp the release. Picked up plasma insanity later and it was a different thing

I got an insanity in the axiom 3 disc starter pack. They dont have numbers on them but not that it matters for me.

I had a fission Insanity that I just lost the other day. That was becoming too flippy, sometimes turning into a roller with little effort.
Yeah I haven’t tried the Fission yet but I figured they’d be pretty understable
