@@javonswopes4101 I agree. I hope whatever rehab he’s checked himself in requires him to spend time away from that she-devil long enough so that he’s able to get her out of his system! He has blinders on, and can’t see what’s happening for what it is because he’s “too close to the trees to see the forest”, so to speak. She has a stronghold over him that needs to be broken before he can reclaim himself.
Earthquake, you have spoken the most eloquently, and the most truthful out of anyone that has spoken about this incident. You touched on all the facts that everyone else has ignored, thank you for your insight into this, no one could have explained it better then you, hitting on all the facts that have not been mentioned.
This was the best perspective I've heard yet, Well said Earthquake! A person that really loves you wouldn't have let you ruin a life achievement moment like that. I also agree with him about the fact that she should have spoken up for Will in the aftermath by expressing that even though his intentions were to defend her- this is not Will's character.
He is speaking all truth. Jada didn't lean to check on Will if he was OK. She was more worried about her appearance. She didn't give any statement to defend or protect her husband. She destroyed his self worth and aired out her infidelity, justified it and broadcasted her marital problems to the public. Will and Jada think its all about them. Will wasn't defending his wife, he was defending his broken ego. On the other side was Chris Rock, who kept his composure and appreciated the significance of occasion and what it mean to a lot of people and their hard work. Wanda Sykes appreciated him coming to her and apologizing and he didn't want any action taken to ruin their evening that they had worked so hard for. Huge respect for Chris Rock. That's the man you want to be and I wish him all the success and happiness going forward.
Everything he said is what I said to my husband about the whole thing. I 💯 agree. Especially about stopping him. She should have protected him, and said, 'sit your ass down'.

But she has proven time and again that she doesn’t respect Will, but Earthquake, you’re right, she doesn’t love him. Period.
You know i'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt that she didn't know what Will was going to do but it was Denzel who got into Will Smith's ear to calm him down and not her, i don't think she even got off her seat throughout what happened. Prolly didn't want to get her dress wrinkled or mess up her hair Doo...lol. Will then quoted Denzel W's words to calm him down when he should have been quoting his wife's words to calm him down. Then Will Smith gets Denzel Washington involved...lol
Absolutely agree with your take. She sitting there rolling her eyes like she A-list. You a B-list actor with an A-list husband who provides your A-list lifestyle. Farkn relax Jada, damn!!!
@Leonardo Mercer- Well said! You just described a NARCISSIST to the letter! Narcissists only care about TWO (2) things: 1). SELF; 2). Bilking people of their resources. All Narcissist have this in common and their ultimate goal is to destroy their victims. Fact is Jada wants to be Will and is HIGHLY JEALOUS of his fame and fortune. She has ZERO care or concern for his well being. ALL NARCISSISTS ARE "RELATIONSHIP" FRAUDS!...IT'S ALL ABOUT THEMSELF AND WHAT THEY CAN GET!
My question is this: if someone is wiping their feet on you...what does it take to leave? Only Will can save himself...The entire world watched this woman destroy her husband's career. Instead of whispering in his ear or gently steering him away from Chris, she cheered Will's dysfunctional behavior...The tragedy is Will could lose everything and Jada could care less. She will move on to entangle someone else.
“She is not a A-List actress… so how is that offensive to her…” -burnt to a crisp 2. He called her “evil”. - the day after the slap I described to coworkers the situation feeling almost demonic. Will is on camera laughing w/ everybody else, jada gives him a look, instantly his demeanor changes, instantly. Those tears, when he accepted the award weren’t tears of joy and overcoming challenges, they were tears of confusion and frustration because he couldn’t fathom what just happened, but also, those tears represent his own inner acknowledgement that there is a constant battle in his mind and he doesn’t know what to do.
Absolutely correct! I agree 100%. But when I said the same thing, women especially roasted my @ss, but it’s all good. Finally a celebrity has the guts to say what I’ve seen for a minute . Denzel Washington and others could console this man at his lowest moment, but his WIFE (who he “defended” ) didn’t and can’t even use HER OWN PLATFORM, to defend him ? Sad. And women like Tiffany Haddish to immediately defend this behavior shows just how messed up we are as a race.
She wants to be in the spotlight so to get Will on her level she càused him to ruin his big night, he put her first in front of his big night,, she just don't care about him at all I don't feel sorry for either of them
The crazy part is that G I Jane is a strong beautiful character. If he said I'll see you as "Gollum" in the next Lord of the rings I'll understand that ... but G I Jane.
Thas what i thought.. if she gets cast for GI Jane that was a compliment. She would do great In that role .I.didnt feel it was a disrespectful joke at all. And if u not watching red table talk u ain't know she had alopecia . Cuz I Did not know that. And further more that joke was nothing compared to all the jokes I've heard on you tube 🤣🤣🤣
That's what we all said in my home, we thought a black GI jane should be great or either Demi and jada do it together, if anyone should feel insulted is Demi Moore, over a negative reaction over the portrayal of a strong woman
Much much much respect for Earthquake. He is the first person that came at it from a realistic perspective. Not from a "what I would have did " point of view. Thank you my brother!
Not only does she not love him, I think she's resents him. Even though she has benefited from his wealth and status, I believe she resents not achieving the same for herself by herself. So any opportunity to put him in his place, she's "here for that". It was the biggest night of his career and she knew what he would do once she expressed displeasure with the joke and what that would do to his night. If she pulls stunts like this in public, she has to be Hell to live with.
I agree. Have any of y’all seen that video on CZcams where Jada has her phone out and starts filming Will in the kitchen in the morning asking him a personal question about their “relationship advisor” and how she helped to transform their marriage and Will is visibly annoyed and tells her not to film him without asking first and Jada just completely ignores him and says what he’s saying is foolishness. Will then tries to reiterate that he’s not happy with her filming him and the articulate and confident Will becomes a stuttering man who looks down at the floor and then eventually manages to get a coherent sentence across. To which she laughs and turns the camera on herself and makes a sarcastic comment about how “clearly the relationship therapy worked” as if it’s all on Will not being flexible enough to answer personal questions on camera first thing in the morning without his consent. Sorry but I used to think she was a beautiful and elegant woman. Now she looks like a serpent with her shaved head and we know she’s a narcissistic abuser. August looked broken in that interview. Will looked broken too but all she cares about is ‘her needs and her healing’. She makes me sick.
@@RevealedFilms Yeap, and August been broken and suffering from childhood trauma caused by his mother...so she definitely has a "type". SMH Also the clip of her belittling him for taking 3 years to plan a 40th birthday extravaganza for her. She projected her narcissistic shadow onto him claiming he only did something thoughtful & loving for her because he had a big ego... unbelievable!!! How people can't see this confuses me and it exposes another dysfunction in our culture.
I don't know them, but I believe that...but I believe its because she said herself she didn't want to get married, even though she was pregnant with Jaden...but she was talked into it, partly because of his goody image so she did it...and its not his first time doing that as Trey's mom was pregnant too when they married...now that image is altered right in front of her...crazy
I had to listen to this twice because he said what he said and it was right on point. Earthquake NEVER holds back the truth whether you like it or not.
This the most thoughtful response to this will smith slap I’ve heard. He said If they offered her G.I. Jane 2 she would do it because it would give her 1st lead role in a Movie.
100% correct. Well stated. I was very angry with the way Will reacted. But as I found out more about what’s been going on with their relationship over the last five years, which I really did not know, I really feel very sorry for Will. But Chris Rock was the real victim here. And Jada is definitely the villain in the situation. What she drove Will Smith to do, and she definitely incited him to violence, after he laughed at an innocuous joke.
Everything that Earthquake says in this interview is absolutely true about Jada Smith. Not only does she not love him, she doesn't CARE about him either!! 😒 This is a SAD relationship.
I've just about heard almost every take on will smith slapping Chris but this has to be the most purest take on the situation. It's undeniably on point! Straight up!
Earthquake is absolutely right, the fact that she sat their, laughed and did nothing. I agree, the G.I. Jane 2 joke was more of a compliment and not an insult.
EXACTLY, SHE COULD HAVE CAPITALIZED ON THE OPPORTUNITY, INSTEAD SHE WAS SO CONTROLLING, AND DEMONIC!!! NOW THEY JUST MAY COME OUT WITH APART 2, AND CHRIS ROCK SHOULD GET HALF THE PROCEEDS.
Earthquake hit the nail on the head, this is how a man can act when he knows his wife does not love him. I feel sorry for Will as he is no more than a bully in this tiny moment in time, even though that may not be who he is in life. I hope Chris can take some pride in his reaction to it, sometimes the only way to beat a bully is let him shame himself by his own actions. I see a little of myself in Wills' action and also in Chris' reaction, A little good and a little bad in myself. Perhaps there is something here I can take away and use to make myself a better person - lets hope.
Great comment we all make mistakes it’s just most of the time it’s not on the worlds stage. A lot of people are admiring Chris for showing restraint so maybe this will start a chain reaction of people making better decisions especially when it comes to violence 🙌🏾
Although EQ speaks to one ingredient in Will's motivation, he must carry the blame for his actions and transposing them to her reminds me of what Denzel said about the Devil made him do it....it does not work this way to absolve him of his responsibility and need for his privileged self-control. To "blame" our worst actions on somebody else is cowardly and erases any chance at growth.
Earthquake was so right on, even in Will book he says he thought the only reason Jada is with him is he's making hit movies which brings in big money, and how insecure he felt about jada and Tupac relationship, her emasculating him on her table talk show for ratings even had 50 cent call him and ask are you alright, just saw Levar Burton introducing a comedian and said these are only jokes stay in your chair and this comedian comes out with a helmet and say we're told we got to wear these now.
Earthquake is spot on! In addition, did you'll notice that there was no physical touching (hug, hold hands) between Will and Jada when he got back to his seat after the slap? The body languages that night screamed everything, I think. Faith, hope, and love.
Hey 👋 DeDe & team, I remember you came somewhere in Wisconsin with Doug Banks & the morning show/crew; (years ago) Tank was the featured singer. Anyway, y'all was walking through the crowd and our eyes met & you hurried to look/get away from me. I salute you, great job on your morning show success DeDe. 🌅💜 Thanks & continued blessings to you/family💙💖
this perspective is pure. it is harsh and hard truth. spoken like a true righteous man with honor..or at least understands what honor and respect truly means. thank you sir.
Earthquake is a true friend to Chris, and the painful emotion in his voice brought tears to my eyes. At one time Chris and Will were friends, that's why Chris wasn't afraid when Will was heading towards him. I haven't been a Will Smith fan in awhile, and I'm gonna stay that way.
@@1212CSmith That "guy", or any other celebrity, doesn't represent an entire race. As you can see, he needs to worry about his own sicko problems! Team Chris! Now THERE'S a positive example for the human race👏🏻👏🏻
I love Chris, he's my boy but i saw him get punked plain and simple, in his state of mind in that moment he wasn't even going to entertain any other way of handling getting slapped but to punk out....I'm just keeping it real folks...Will punked Chris plain and simple. I didn't like it but I'm a realist. Go look back to the video when Will Smith says for a second time "get my wife's....your mouth"...Chris then sounds desperate trying to prevent Will from getting up again and says "I'm going to I'm going to".....he sounds like he's trying to keep the bully away.
What's wrong with Black people? How can those women sit & listen to this guy talk about another woman in such a fashion? No wonder society views Blks in a particular manner.
When I heard the joke, I said “Yea, Jada would be great in G.I. Jane 2”. Until my daughter told me Chris was joking about her bald head. I said the movie wasn’t about a woman shaving her hair off. It was about a fierce military woman being accepted in a rigorous training program. Comparable to the US Navy Seal. She would be the first. If Jada was thinking she should have said, “Chris, I thank you for the compliment. I would do a phenomenal job as G.I. Jane. I would be the first Black Actress to play that role.” Flip it. Turn that situation around. She see she didn’t go on the stage to slap Chris. Will would have said, “Woman sit yourself down.” Then again maybe not.
Welp, he told the WHOLE truth here!! And I was disappointed that Denzel came out to defend Will and pray for Will but he never denounced the violence or said anything about praying for Chris or that he told Will to call Chris! All that was a fail. Chris deserved better from his peers!
@Thisis.MichelleTorres They are not his peers, they are the Hollywood acting elite (no offense to Denzel and Sam L Jackson who I love) , Chris' peers is the Comedian Community led by Dave Chapelle, Kevin Hart, Tony Rock and Jim Carrey who have fiercely come to his defense with the exception of Tiffany Haddish and ironically Trevor Noah who partied with Will after the slap
@@sonsofstretford3866 If so, that mindset is problematic. Chris Rock was HOSTING the Oscars, he's been in the business for decades, so he is he a peer as is Jim Carrey, who's also done many films! Will smacked an almost 60 year old black man and except for DJ Hughley, no one said how shameful that was and how no one thought of Chris.
@@thisis.michelletorres444 I’m with you 100%, it showed the gulf in privilege, power and professionalism between elite Hollywood actors and comedians, in fact it showed the gulf between Hollywood, politicians, celebrities and everyday people, Chris Rock came out of this the Hero and Role Model, Hollywood on the other hand especially the white actors excecs have lost the right to virtue signal, they just gave a standing ovation and a freaking post party to the man who assaulted a 57 year old black man live in front of the world
One of the most “accurate” and “thoughtful” statements made about this situation. Earthquake broke it down to the ground. Will Smith needs to get some therapy. At this point he also needs to move on with his life. (Divorce) Jada doesn’t want him. All you have to do is see how she treats him. That said; Absolutely no excuse to assault Chris Rock!! By the way: Hats off to Chris Rock!! (Professional)
There is no way that I would allow my man to embarrass himself professionally, and tarnish his image in defense of me, especially if I was not in danger. This was the greatest honor of his career and that moment was ruined, while she sat still, laughed and watched.
Earthquake broke this down very well from not only a professional perspective, but also an experienced grown man’s prospective! The first thing I said after seeing the clip of the now infamous slap was “I wouldn’t of allowed my man to do what Will did without at least trying to stop him”! I saw ZERO effort on Jada’s part to do that. He’s responsible for his own actions, but at the same time they say “behind every good man is a good woman”! She could’ve helped him be great & deal with Chris’s “joke” privately if they felt it required a confrontation! 🤦🏾♀️
Now this was the best analogy I've heard of all. The GI Jane joke didn't have to be about Jada's bald head. I never thought about it that way. And it is a great point. 👍👍👍
Chris Rock could have made that a total brawl. Chris could kicked Will down the stairs and humiliated him. Chris could made come back joke about her boyfriend.
Earthquake said it best!!!! Out of all the celebrities who spoke on this subject he made the most sense & I love him for saying what he said& how he said it🙏🎤💙💙💙💙💙 I've always admired this man & not just as a comic but as a human being. I've followed his career for years & I'm loving what he's evolved into so from my ❤ May the Lord continue to bless&keep you big bro🙏🙏keep doing what you do🎤🎤💙💙💙💙💙💙
Solid Earthquake. Will's NOT in love with anything but his EGO! She didn't "send him"! He "defended" his EGO because he laughed and she did not!!! His 1st apology was the the Academy, his pockets, not the actual victim, but tried the "Oscar -up" the victim part. He showed his TRUE colors that night, as did Jada.
I definitely don't discern "LOVE" nowhere near that equation. I agree with you, HIS EGO got the best of him and she had absolutely ZERO F'Ks in reserve for any backlash.
Don't think it was his "ego" if he waited for her response to go after Chris. It would have been his ego if he did it not considering anyone else but himself. He was worried about his wife's perception of him, it's a difference.
Thats not at all the point Earthquake is making the point is she’s manipulative and no Will loves her. He just loves her more than she loves him and thats never good in a relationship
Earthquake I have the utmost respect for you and your discription of what you saw at Oscars was a fact and I couldn't have said it better myself! I appreciate a black man telling the truth about a woman that has no respect for her husband or herself!
This man really sumed up the entire situation in less than 5 minutes. I agree with him 100 % Jada turned Will out. She is absolutely a evil denomic woman. She has never loved this man. My heart goes out to him.
@K J /obviously, it depends on the circumstances which you may not know difference in "when to hold them" or "when to fold them"...sounds like you argue just about anything to prove you are always right...
@K J - You don't defend a woman with violence unless her life is in danger. Remove the celebrity status and he could be seriously injured or pushing up daisies and you know this to be true!
Omg, are those Black women grunting in support of Earthquake? She's evil because she was vulnerable to the world about stepping out of her marriage. I heard not a sound when Rock admitted to sleeping with everyone under the sun & breaking up his family. Black women are so content with being disparaged thus these two female ninnies aren't stopping such talk about another woman, their sister. Moreover, Jada is not responsible for Will's actions. That's an abuser/abused perspective, i.e., you made me do it. I am so sickened with how Blk people demean themselves, no wonder Blks remain a particular way in society's eyes. Thus, the difference between Africans & African Americans.
I'm tired of hearing about this but out of all the comments I've heard from celebrities..this interview with Earthquake was absolutely the best analysis I've heard💯💯
I am a black woman in my seventies and completely bald. If I was Jada and Chris Rock told that joke and it make me upset. I would have held Will hand tight and smiled. I would tell Will , we will address that late. I would inform Chris of my condition and have him donate one hundred thousand dollars in my name to the alopecia research foundation . Now that is what you do when you love your husband and you don't want harm to come to him( lose of commercials, filmwork, etc).🥰
What a wonderful ladylike response, your husband is lucky to have you. It is a shame Will does not have a companion like yourself beside him. Whilst he has to be responsible for his own actions I think the fuel for this one came from Jada.
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 This young MAN is the FIRST person that has said something/everything/anything that makes 100000% sense about this whole situation. Thank you 🙏🏽

The only thing one can say after hearing this is DAMN! That's why you gotta love this man. Not only is he funny as hell and keep you laughing non-stop but he is very insightful. No one summed this shit up as well and as quick as this man did!
Yes, everyone came to their own conclusions with what Chris Rock said it could have been taken several different ways. Comedians do that all the time that's why they are who they are to make people laugh.
EVERY comedian knew that Chris called Jada a Ball-headed Btch with that GI Jane 2 reference. Is there a GI Jane 2 movie coming out??? Is she starring in it???
I disagree with that assertion. Jada’s hairstyle may not have been the only factor that evoked that joke but it definitely was a contributing factor. If she had a different hairstyle or a drastically different body type Chris Rock would have never made that comparison because it wouldn’t have made sense to the audience.
Chris reacted to the slap the same exact way Martin Luther King would have reacted to the slap. That shows how smart Chris is as a human being. He made Will cry without lifting a finger just by showing restraint.
I would of been honored as a woman to be compared to GJ Jane. A strong army women theirs many Real GI JANES walking this earth 🌍 that are fighting for our freedom fearless strong BLACK, WHITE, BROWN all colors strong REAL QUEENS making it in a so called mans world I SALUTE you WOMAN!!!h HE said I love you jada she a very weak woman. he never said anything about her hair are did I miss something 🤔she got some serious issues…And she’s laughing at a act of violence is truly disgusting. I’m proud of Chris he did not promote violence on violence he took the high road a true gentleman. That table talk show is a JOKE big time…..You speak 🗣 the truth Sr there is no excuse for violence none whatsoever
EQ said something that I have been saying since this event that most commentators are overlooking. Chris Rock's joke IMO was never about her health. If you actually listen to his reaction (which was pure emotion after being slapped), he literally said "dude its' a GI Jane joke' that told me that the joke was in reference to her "look" which was that of the character from the movie. I think the media and others jumped to the conclusion that this was a joke in regards to her health. This made women run with their emotions and accusing Chris of being out of order for mocking her health.
@@ekeretteekpo3004 most people would’ve. It’s sad that many women were looking for a reason to defend Jada because the media hyped this up as a joke about her health. Shame on the media for stoking the wrong fire.
I said from the jump, if this hair loss wasn't connected to a medical condition and Jada was just rockin a shaved cut, that joke would have been a good look for her in a room full of A-list producers and directors! Everybody just blew the whole thing out of proportion.
@@DauntlessDeonte5991 I think your missing the point Cobra Commander. Of course the "situation" within itself is not funny at all, and quite sad: however the fact that Mr. Earthquake's comedic talent is so great, he can explain a serious situation and still find a way to naturally make aspects of it funny is a nod to him. Not making light of the situation. I hope this explains how us "weirdos found humor in this dialogue.

*aN A-List
She wants to be in the spotlight so to get Will on her level she càused him to ruin his big night, he put her first in front of his big night,, she just don't care about him at all I don't feel sorry for either of them
He spoke nothing but FACTS!!! 🔥🔥🔥
This Earthquake guy is embarrassing.
Truth!
The crazy part is that G I Jane is a strong beautiful character. If he said I'll see you as "Gollum" in the next Lord of the rings I'll understand that ... but G I Jane.
THANK YOU!!!!!! I wish someone would "insult" me like that.
Perfect Analogy!... just perfect!!!
I never thought of it that way.
Great analogy.
She’s said both things that she doesn’t love Will and she Resents his success
She can't stand him. She's disgusted by him.
I agree. Have any of y’all seen that video on CZcams where Jada has her phone out and starts filming Will in the kitchen in the morning asking him a personal question about their “relationship advisor” and how she helped to transform their marriage and Will is visibly annoyed and tells her not to film him without asking first and Jada just completely ignores him
and says what he’s saying is foolishness.
SMH
Also the clip of her belittling him for taking 3 years to plan a 40th birthday extravaganza for her.
Truth!!!!!

"It reminds me of what happens when a man is in love with a woman who doesn't love him".

you tell it brother man.
💯
Vice versa for the woman as well
No woman can ever love a man! It's not in them! They can respect you!! But love!! No!!!!!!! Its called lust!!!

This the most thoughtful response to this will smith slap I’ve heard. He said If they offered her G.I. Jane 2 she would do it because it would give her 1st lead role in a Movie.
That man is on point in everything he said.
This man has set everybody free with this statement. Always thought she was evil. She not a good person.🙏🏾👍🏾👌🏾
Im my opinion this is the Best summary of this situation I have heard. Earthquake is very good at breaking down situations!
Agreed!
Ditto.
Well said!
100%
Exactly, I feel the same way
Earthquake is absolutely right, the fact that she sat their, laughed and did nothing. I agree, the G.I. Jane 2 joke was more of a compliment and not an insult.
Agreed, He basically compared her to Demi Moore who could pull off the shaved head meaning the comparison doesn’t work if she doesn’t look good.
Thank you
It was a compliment. I've been telling dummies that all week.
EXACTLY, SHE COULD HAVE CAPITALIZED ON THE OPPORTUNITY, INSTEAD SHE WAS SO CONTROLLING, AND DEMONIC!!! NOW THEY JUST MAY COME OUT WITH APART 2, AND CHRIS ROCK SHOULD GET HALF THE PROCEEDS.
@@MB3448 So do they hate the Demi Moore comparison. She is beautiful
This man has the purist perspective to date about what happened.
I know. I never looked at that way.
This is EXACTLY what I was thinking perfectly stated!!!
Right tho!? Beautifully stated!!
I agree, we all thought what he said but he spoke it.
She's a very nasty person and he just told it
Earthquake was so right on, even in Will book he says he thought the only reason Jada is with him is he's making hit movies which brings in big money, and how insecure he felt about jada and Tupac relationship, her emasculating him on her table talk show for ratings even had 50 cent call him and ask are you alright, just saw Levar Burton introducing a comedian and said these are only jokes stay in your chair and this comedian comes out with a helmet and say we're told we got to wear these now.
Black people are so shameful, beginning with this Earthquake guy.
Thanks & continued blessings to you/family💙💖
this perspective is pure. it is harsh and hard truth. spoken like a true righteous man with honor..or at least understands what honor and respect truly means. thank you sir.
And he said it right, @ 3:19, Jada isn't a A list actress to feel so highly of herself at the awards. LMAO.
I am so embarrassed for Black people, this guy is shameful.
Indeed

I love Chris, he's my boy but i saw him get punked plain and simple, in his state of mind in that moment he wasn't even going to entertain any other way of handling getting slapped but to punk out....I'm just keeping it real folks...Will punked Chris plain and simple. I didn't like it but I'm a realist. Go look back to the video when Will Smith says for a second time "get my wife's....your mouth"...Chris then sounds desperate trying to prevent Will from getting up again and says "I'm going to I'm going to".....he sounds like he's trying to keep the bully away.

If a woman doesn't love you, keep your self-respect. At least you'll have that. Will's throwing everything away.

Well said Earthquake. Best statement yet
Agreed Chiffon….. my middle name 💕💕
I like that he gives his opinion without the malice.
He was preaching. I mean this sounded like something I would've been saying, "Amen" to Sunday morning service! Well done sir!
Jane. I would be the first Black Actress to play that role.”
Flip it. Turn that situation around.
She see she didn’t go on the stage to slap Chris. Will would have said, “Woman sit yourself down.” Then again maybe not.
Exactly, seize that opportunity to do the GI Jane2 movie. It might be her biggest film yet.
Trevor Noah showed his true colors,fu...wimp.
@@thisis.michelletorres444 I’m with you 100%, it showed the gulf in privilege, power and professionalism between elite Hollywood actors and comedians, in fact it showed the gulf between Hollywood, politicians, celebrities and everyday people, Chris Rock came out of this the Hero and Role Model, Hollywood on the other hand especially the white actors excecs have lost the right to virtue signal, they just gave a standing ovation and a freaking post party to the man who assaulted a 57 year old black man live in front of the world
@@thisis.michelletorres444 Chris was an award presenter this year. He wasn’t the actual host.
But I totally agree with what you said
One of the most “accurate” and “thoughtful” statements made about this situation.
Been waiting for this interview with my favorite comedian with his perspective about this subject. thanks!
Hit the nail on the head. Quake keeping it real. He's saying what some in Hollywood are afraid to say.
There is no way that I would allow my man to embarrass himself professionally, and tarnish his image in defense of me, especially if I was not in danger. This was the greatest honor of his career and that moment was ruined, while she sat still, laughed and watched.
It’s always about her. She’s a selfish narcissist.
We need more women like yourself
Said it like it is... everyone of us was waiting for someone to say exactly these words.great man
How well Chris Rock handled that will last forever
Chris Rock could have made that a total brawl. Chris could kicked Will down the stairs and humiliated him. Chris could made come back joke about her boyfriend.
FINALLY SOMEONE OTHER THAN ME SAYS JADA IS NOT AN "A" LISTER!!!!!!
Sir, no one said it because it’s just always been understood.

Well said Quake! Well said Bro!! Respect ✊🏽
Much respect to Earthquake, he's a real funny guy, love his act. Everything he said was true couldn't agree more.
Earthquake spoke from his heart and he knows what's up.
She did laugh, there was a different camera angle that showed her laughing when will came down the stage
Do you know him personally?
Don't think it was his "ego" if he waited for her response to go after Chris. It would have been his ego if he did it not considering anyone else but himself. He was worried about his wife's perception of him, it's a difference.
Thats not at all the point Earthquake is making the point is she’s manipulative and no Will loves her. He just loves her more than she loves him and thats never good in a relationship
He said everything that needed to be said. Amen.
Earthquake I have the utmost respect for you and your discription of what you saw at Oscars was a fact and I couldn't have said it better myself! I appreciate a black man telling the truth about a woman that has no respect for her husband or herself!

New sub, but always on my morning drive DeDe & crew. 💯💖💙
He preached the undeniable truth exactly what I completely thought.
This man really sumed up the entire situation in less than 5 minutes. I agree with him 100 % Jada turned Will out. She is absolutely a evil denomic woman. She has never loved this man. My heart goes out to him.
Lol evil and demonic. Let me guess you’re a Christian and a “god-fearing woman”?
@K J /obviously, it depends on the circumstances which you may not know difference in "when to hold them" or "when to fold them"...sounds like you argue just about anything to prove you are always right...
Excuses. Your heart goes out to a straight bxtch ass man. Lma

Thanks for speaking out that was much needed especially in my life.
He spoke the truth and kept it 100. Great insight on what really happened.
Respect for this man for saying exactly what I think it is.

A real good woman wouldn't let her husband mess up a good factory job
If she really cared about it
What a wonderful ladylike response, your husband is lucky to have you. It is a shame Will does not have a companion like yourself beside him. Whilst he has to be responsible for his own actions I think the fuel for this one came from Jada.

EARTHQUAKE!!! Legend! Best response.
Yes, everyone came to their own conclusions with what Chris Rock said it could have been taken several different ways. Comedians do that all the time that's why they are who they are to make people laugh.
Facts
Right on

EQ said something that I have been saying since this event that most commentators are overlooking. Chris Rock's joke IMO was never about her health. If you actually listen to his reaction (which was pure emotion after being slapped), he literally said "dude its' a GI Jane joke' that told me that the joke was in reference to her "look" which was that of the character from the movie.
I think the media and others jumped to the conclusion that this was a joke in regards to her health. This made women run with their emotions and accusing Chris of being out of order for mocking her health.
I would have jumped at that opportunity for my wife and gotten that deal signed. Respect that!
