listen! i just started the video, but let me tell you this! this method is GENIUS. i always wanted to try soft locs but have been doing locs individually using the crochet method because i was always afraid that i would cut my hair. this method right here allows you to unravel the loc to remove your hair and then you can preserve the soft loc. PERFECT!

I practiced on myself at least like 3 times and then on a friend maybe like 1 time

Yes, but remember to blend the butterfly effect into the extension, I recommend using nail glue or weave glue

This method is just what I've been looking for! I am curious though when you blow dry the pieces of the loc where the Marley hair stopped does that help keep the Marley hair from unraveling?

When you add there to her real hair does the loc braids comes first?
My 10 yo wants this style and has long hair too! Wow! This looks doable for someone like me who has never tried!😬 Quick question-what keeps the wrapped afro hair on the loc? Do I have to knot each afro piece I wrap or just the last piece I add? I saw you make the knot at the end. I just want to do them correctly and make sure I do it right so it lasts and none fall out her hair. Thanks.
You can make a knot with the first and last piece just to be extra secure .
I like this method bc I feel like they won’t be as much as a hassle to take out

Was the parting and braiding part of the 5 hours? and...how do you keep the spring twist hair from unraveling?
Yes it was part of it & just wrapped it it doesn’t unravel if the pieces aren’t really big
