    So incredibly beautiful.
I have played the 1st Clarinet part several times now in my band and consider this to be one of the best transcriptions available for band. In fact, it is absolutely one of my favorite pieces. While not very technically challenging, it is one of the most challenging musically.
The woodwind introduction is so sensitively played. The solo oboe and clarinet are perfect. When the brass comes in though, you are quickly swept away by the incredible sounds coming from the low brass as well as the trumpets. But those trombones near the end!! Well done!!
Playing this piece in The Chapel of Mary at the Grotto in Portland, OR is one of my most cherished musical experiences.

Beautiful, creative, and so very lovingly prepared. I'm so proud of all of you, and I don't even teach there. I send you all love from NYU where I direct the University Wind Band. Tutti Bravi, and a hearty Braveaux from me to you!! Stay well and stay healthy. Hope to work with you all somehow when this global nightmare is over!

Absolutely gorgeous, as a band musician I so miss playing these last weeks. It was good to hear music well played and 6 feet apart.

    Beautifully done. Thank you.
The fact that you did this just one month ago and now we and all the players are housebound due to the Covid-19 business makes this especially poignant. Be well and be BACK for more when the drama subsides.
