About Dune: Part Two:
The saga continues as award-winning filmmaker Denis Villeneuve embarks on “Dune: Part Two,” the next chapter of Frank Herbert’s celebrated novel Dune, with an expanded all-star international ensemble cast. The film, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2021’s six-time Academy Award-winning “Dune.” “Dune: Part Two” will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.

@@IdBustInside This is part of accepting the brutality of life. Paul walks down a path, he personally didn't want, in order to help his people. He killed and lost himself.. Using the foresight helped him see to this end, but also chose the path. This movie is so surreal to me in this regard. I always tried to be empathetic, to be nuanced. Studied a decade, held different offices, build up a company. Now times require me to choose a role which doesn't align with this thinking and morals. A few days ago my wife answered me in a discussion that it is my destiny to bring order and discipline to my home and employees as times are changing. It was cringe, but I knew it was true.

I am loving this. It’s unmistakably the Atreides motif, but it’s been transformed. It’s been changed by the culture of the Fremen. The perfect reflection of Paul as a character. Prince of one world, Messiah in the next.
Yes - it is great work
Also an innocent love theme (?) in there with the flute, struggling against the bombastic epic theme later in the tune. It's beautiful and fitting.

This has to be one of the most beautiful musical themes that Hans Zimmer has written in a long time. It triggers wanderlust and longing for home in me, the feeling of meeting and farewell, of happiness and sadness, joy and pain. I love it.
He will be a 3x Oscar winner in 2025.
some things are not meant to be described by words.you have to feel "it."
It made me feel something very deep that I actually had to do a little “looking inward” to figure out where it was coming from. I tried to assimilate this tune with all the girlfriends I’d had in the past but in retrospect they were all pretty shallow and impulsive relationships. It wasn’t until I started associating it with the relationship I have with my parents that it really really started to effect me on a different emotional level. I can only think of one word to describe it. “Pure.”
@@lukekelchner5471ahh bless man, thanks for sharing, it also invokes similar feelings in me of love and longing for someone you love, but you also know you will not be with them in this world one day, so it’s a very bittersweet soundtrack, which Zimmer does perfectly

My existence changed after watching Dune2. It hit me like a brick wall. The story, the music, the colours all together was pure magic. Life is boring after being exposed to this. Its the best experience I have ever had with any movie. I feel hollow now... I want to go back and relive this again.
Honestly, I feel you. This is also how I felt after reading the book a long time ago. Gutted, but in the best way.
I know what you mean :’)
I felt the same for different reasons, the movie in itself yes, but also the longing to be able to live the beauty and truth of the relationship that Paul and Chani share in my own life.. Feels so true and sincere. Also seeing these two young actors being able to express their emotions and change the lives of others creates a terrible feeling of uselesness in myself, how will I ever be able to express myself in a way like them. Seems unreachable, everything I do seems of little importance compared to the magnitude of emotions a movie can convey. And for a reason this song brings back these thoughts each time.

I wish that Paul and Chani could have stayed on top of that Dune forever with each other. When they kissed and this song came on I got goosebumps and smiled. But Paul had to do what must be done. Such a powerful scene that was even better with the score. The ending scene with Chani was heartbreaking. Hans Zimmer will go down as the greatest cinematic composer of all time.
in the books thats how it ends for them. so rejoice.
This feels like Paul and Chani's love theme. It's a nice fusion of their heritages. Chani's fremen background is represented by the wind sections (but also a few synths later to symbolize the imperium, bc Kynes was actually mixed-race), and Paul's Atreides background through the House Atreides motif.
Brilliant observation!
The title is actually a line from the book between Paul and Chani so I wouldn’t be surprised!
Its house atreides theme
In a strange way, it actually reminds me of the Paul and Chani theme from David Lynch's Dune. Even sounds like a homage at the very end of this track.
Zimmer perfectly captures the tragic undertones heroic overtones of Paul's story and the Dune universe.
Paul is not the hero of Dune. Frank Herbert made that explicitly clear.
Paul isn't the hero. Did you watch the film or read the novel? He's the bad guy lol

HOW, HOW does Hans Zimmer keep doing it man... incredible.
Seen the film -twice- three times now, and this piece... as Paul and Chani's love theme, it is the perfect centerpiece; the emotional backbone on which to build their story. It just elevates every scene in which it's featured, especially *that* scene with the two of them on the sand dune. Love how Hans Zimmer named this track after the equivalent passage from the book ("I see us giving love to each other in a time of quiet between storms. It's what we were meant to do.") - bless the Maker and his water that Zimmer is as much a fan of the source material as Villeneuve is.
Three times also. My friends thought I was doing them a favor but actually, I longed so much to see the planet again.
Arabic music mixed with the sand and dunes of the desert and makes you wish you had a tent like the freemen to live in
The nostalgia hits full force when this played at the end where the Holy War begins. It's so tragic, mournful, beautiful and heartbreaking all at once. Can't comprehend how music can make me feel like this. Hans Zimmer is a marvel, never ceases to surprise me. It seems like he only ever churns out masterpieces.
Here before everyone starts listening to this masterpiece and it blows up after they’ve watched Dune: Part two. Not only is this a direct musical representation of Paul Atreides/Chani (Timothee Chalamet & Zendaya’s) loving relationship, in the film. but it is the entire illuminating background of the two character’s development in the story. Everything Hans Zimmer touches is gold.
I’ve always loved blade runner and one of my biggest “jealousies” was that the people of the 80s got to have a practically religious experience when watching it for the first time in theaters.
I can confidently say now that I get it, Dune part one was sublime, but part two is an absolute masterpiece. I don’t want to sound over dramatic when I say this might be one of the best movies i’ve seen in my life.
It's like a rare moment of relaxation and relief surrounded by war and chaos! So majestic and grand but at the same time so simple (in the best way possible).
the close up of Paul putting down his binoculars and it showed his blue eyes for the first time, I got goosebumps
Best movie I've ever watched. Just a masterpiece through and through
This sounds so ethereal and when i first heard it, it instantly became one of my favorites from Hans. The man that never fails to one-up himself & you can tell that he really created this with a passion since he loves the books / dune universe. Listening to this always replays the beautiful scenes from the movie in my head.
2:55 a little touch of blade runner 2049 vibes, love it.
