Thanks for this quick show-and-tell. I watched a another video of a guy saying these are garbage and you have to get the special drywalling driver, but this seems to work just fine for home DIYer
Would you use this on the ceiling too? We have lot of nail pops and were wanting to go back with screws and then remove the nails and fill. Also if there's popcorn can we just screw write through it for do we need to scrape it out of the way? Thank you!!
Hmm... So if you have a different style of bit-- like say a star bit vs phillips, you can change it out (so long as the bit is the right size I'm guessing). I do like that. Thank you! I think I will get one of these for when we do drywall in the bathrooms.
great video.. i’m a painter and i have to repair nail pops.. would this be good to use if i wanted the head of the new screw to cover the old screw? or should i just keep it one inch above or below?
Я тепер можу чітко сказати що це так гарно як на відео. По-перше: цей обмежувач для біт має хід пару мм до переду якщо трішки більше натиснути- і папір пробитий. Друге: потрібно або слабкий імпакт,або з електронікою. Я пробував також такою насадкою від Knauf крутити. Так DeWalt dcf 887 на першій швидкості не може закрутити шуруп до кінця. На другій швидкості заганяє прориваючи папір. DeWalt dcd 791 на другій швидкості на зусиллі 1 пррриває також. На першій швидкості все чудово, АЛЕ ВЖЕ крутити потрібно пару секунд. Тобто крутити такою насадкою потрібно або 12v шуруповертами Bosch, Metabo, або імпакт типу Makita 170. А саме краще купити навіть без магазину DeWalt dcf 620, або Bosch GTB 185- li. Словом я описав свою думку,бо купив і сам крутив. Зараз вирішив купити Bosch GTB 185-li. ЧОМУ бош а не девольт? Бо бош на 400 гр. легший.
The tip is magnetic yes but there's no depth adjustment on drywall dimples no. You can adjust the speed on the drill though which will spin in faster and result in a slightly deeper counter sink.

They are handy but keep extra bits cause they are designed to pop out of the screw and causes the bits to wear rather wuickly
