Hold up...aren't majority of South Koreans racist in some way or another though? They are xenophobic and always look down on South East Asians. So if they are talking about racism they should look from within. As for the other problematic idols" jessie just doesn't put up with being disrespected or demeaned, as a woman. There's a difference. Plus a lot of asian culture have this notion and conception that women in general have to be submissive. Seugri there's a lot of insecurties within him. There's a report because of him being the youngest of the group got bullied by the others. I don't know about bullied but I wouldn't be surprised if, sometimes it went to far. GD himseld admited he was mistreated by other cadets during military service. I'm guessing he felt isolated as well.

Everything you said is on-spot, but I think it is pretty much normal for idols to feel isolated during their military hiatus. Imagine having a 180-degree shift in your life, and your surroundings are absolutely different now, and you cannot really relate to the other people serving there. After years of hard work and training, you earn fame and perks like a luxurious lifestyle and protocols, but once you're used to it, you're enlisted in the military, which is famous for harsh conditions and bullying. Even fellow unit members don't hesitate to bully people who are different or weaker, so it won't be a surprise if GD and all other idols face mistreatment during their service time. Hongseok and Taemin had to be treated on an emergency basis due to the worsening depression because of their service

Donghae's skin is naturaly dark, he doesn't need any make-up to have a brown skin. Stop the fake news please.

personally I never understand why making braids of a particular style racist ? it's just a damn hairstyle and there are actually forms of actual racism that gets ignored......someone who thinks this is racist is a racist himself for making it a stereotype hair style , behaviour of blacks......jay park is absolutely correct with this

@@fatyfarrell though I don't it's about being black....it applies to any culture If a foreigner wore saree (traditional indian attire) or a kimono (jananese traditional) etc then it's not cultural appropriation it's appreciation

I always liked Seungri so when the scandal came out, it was so shocking. It's scary to think that you never really know how someone is and if they are just keeping up appearances

I've always been feeling icky about Seungri because of how the other members have reacted about SR and his friends on a lot of interviews. Was still a bit surprised on how bad it was after the Burning Sun scandal came out.

@@jlin8018 omo you're right about reactions. I was just seeing a reel on Instagram where he was performing yesterday super drunk on a Malaysian tycoon's birthday. he does not seem even a bit ashamed about anything or if he had self-reflection during his jail time
