** I don't give it my touch until the second time I make it. I sliced up baby portobello mushrooms and sautéed them with the garlic step! That was the only addition i made.(I am a 🍄 lover)

@ Tammy if my parmesean cheese did not melt what should I do differently? Only thing differently I did was saute shrimp vs chicken. The cheese kinda clumped instead of melting into a creamy mixture. Pls let me know. Thnx!

As soon as you notice lumps forming in the cheese sauce remove the pan from the heat. ...
Add a few drops of liquid (pasta water or milk) and that should help Pamela. Also, maybe it’s the brand or blend of cheese.
@@CookingWithTammy. Thank-you so much for responding. I will try it again & take your advice if it happens to me again. My parmesean cheese was a bit pricey, so I think it was probably my technique. I was also thinking maybe I added the cheese too fast. Nevertheless I'll try it again. Thank-you!! 😘

Interesting what was done abroad, outside of Italy, with the name "Alfredo”. Completely different things from what Alfredo had created here in Rome (in the Alfredo restaurant) in Italy. And that is “Fettuccine burro e parmigiano“ (fettuccine butter and parmesan cheese). 😊
