That final sequence with Top Flight and Claudio was epic.
Top Flight win the $300.000 Battle Royale match
In the Other Company Claudio was pretty generic, burried under similar-set wrestler. AEW might be second-in-business, but any time I watch their stuff, I see happy wrestlers. That means a lot to me.

I agree. I felt invested during the last five minutes. I can’t say the same for the rest of the match. Also, they need to somehow make Rampage as good as Dynamite. Or just bin it off all together . Nobody needs to see Luther in the ring

The final sequence was just awesome to watch, it was like watching a 2 player co-op trying to take down a boss.

Aew shows Claudio very strong in this match.
Great example of how everyone wins with smart booking. The weaker team won the match, but neither Claudio nor Moxley look worse for it.

Yeah, it made him look amazing, but crucially _he didn't win._ That would have been overdoing it. This was Top Flight's moment.

Claudio eliminating both guys would have been sick! But they made him look like a machine in defeat.
That would have been so boring and predictable.
Which is what most of Vince era WWF/E could often not grasp. Making others look good in defeat. If AEW uses this format from time to time they can solidify the roster for the future as others age out.

this is the best aew battle royale ever. so many story lines were interweaving intertwining and new story lines being created. the ending was not predictable at all. amazing.
Great match. Well deserved winners, and still made Claudio look like an absolute boss.

Once ROH relaunches I want Rush to be his first major feud. Both guys match up well against each other both have the size, the strength and the physicality. Tony Khan once ROH gets off the ground needs to build a feud up with these two ASAP their matches would be incredible.

I like this it shows Claudio is strong but it also shows the brothers are really strong in a team
Brilliant way to make Claudio seem like an absolute star, however realistically the numbers game caught up and he couldn’t fight off the 2 by himself! Really good booking of that final moment! Made Claudio look like a superstar and gave Top Flight their much deserved moment

Claudio is the living embodiment of wrestling starting in carnivals. He's the strong man. We come to see the strong man do strong things and we cheer. Simple as.
I love that we have a bunch of big time feuds that aren't in the title picture. Makes you enjoy wrestling to see that it can be about it's core.

This is what I like about AEW, letting young homegrown talent win matches like that.
The huge mistimeing with Claudio looking at Hangman like "that's not right, I'm not supposed to be here" and looking for someone to smack him one, but both Dante and Darius are down, so he just wakes Darius and asks to be knocked out.
You people seriously don't see these things? It is completely ruining the whole moment to see Cloudio walk away from his teammate being viciously attacked and wandering around for a few good seconds until he finally asks to be knoked out.
When Page jumped in I thought it was a fan, then I realized it was Virginian Cowboy Adam Page 😂😂

Claudio was able to lose while still looking incredibly strong. Its nice to see some of the other talent get some wins. Claudio winning or losing doesn't hurt his stance.
