One thing I've noticed, pops is a hard worker, always doing something, and he seems to be a happy man, you the man pops
agree he likes to keep busy hard working man
When you emigrate and build a life from nothing, you don't stop using that work ethic
They need to let pops express him self in his native language and put subtitles, i feel sometimes he wants to say a lot more and struggle with the language barrier
@@KelvinRivas i think this would be good!
He does express his thoughts in his native language, on goonzquad unleashed, pops is the man, look were he came from and what they have created, this family is truly, the American dream,
This is a no brainer! Despite of the value of his services, he’s your brother. Give him the car of his choice!
BS i know i wouldn't you talking about $150k to $200k lost .
Yeah, Family above all. Good deal !!!!
@@funtyes1970 It just sits there anyway and they have plenty more years to built more lambos.
I say give it to him as a straight up trade for his hard work. He’s family , he deserves it
You guys are really humble a small flex here and there I love to see. You guys deserve it
People on here said the wood would shrink. I know you guys are learning as you go but you should take advantage of the knowledge you have in your followers. They seem to predict everything that happens.
I agree!!!
This is an underrated comment for sure.
I agree, but they also do some of the stuff before the comments are even there. Also they are learning, nobody was a perfect builder in a day. Some peaple learn by making mistakes and fixing them.
@@warpedkid360 I also think they just go ahead and do things because, in the long run, they have to put out videos and barn leaks aren't the end of the world.
Sometimes you learn as you go... But they've gotten to where they are by just jumping in and doing it, while most of us would still be thinking about it and planning! My personal opinion is that if they knew they were going to make the "barn" what it's turning into, a properly framed and foundationed building would have avoided the issues of using a metal prefab shed as the basis for what they're wanting to do - kind of like the nice well house they built -- and would have cost the same or less as the shed they bought.
Your brother has been working behind the scenes for way too long. As far as we can see; this channel changed from being a 2 man team to an entire family channel and we love it. Your bro should get the lambo in exchange for the house deal, as well as screen time so he can get more contracts. Your family deserves the best and you should help those deserving.
Their brother used to make cameos in their earlier videos. He also runs a successful construction business

so happy to see all of the family work together. A strong family is a gift and i hope they Cherish it for sure
Dont forget to run some CAT 6 cabling all inside the new house for computer, wireless access points, cameras, etc. Never hurts to have wiring options installed before house is finished. Even if you dont use it now, it gives you options for the future.
Or fibre. More expensive but should be worth it.
Yea, I just ran this after the fact. Not sure if they have internet up there or not. Maybe need a starlink!
Also, set up a hidden network closet somewhere and run conduit from it to your tv location and you can hide your satellite or cable box in the closet. I'd also Ethernet to ceiling locations and install some access points. I just installed Aruba networks InstantOn and it was silly easy and the APs are powered over Ethernet so no need to install plugs at each AP location!
Soemthing tells me that as CZcamsrs they have considered this, Simon does all the editing and uploading. Putting infrastructure in place would be pretty important to him I think :P
Future proof it. CAT 8 cables with fiber optic if available
lol you talking about wires and house isn't build yet relax dude

I love watching your channel!
Keep on keeping on!
With all of the air gaps in the corners it i no wonder it is leaking. When you put green wood on the walls it is going to shrink and move on you, but it will give you the rustic look. The retaining wall should come up one more layer then get capped like you did if it was me. but I do love that wall. turned out great.

We were all screaming about the wood shrinking! When you can see light through wall at roof u gotta know it's gonna be bad.
hahaha oh well.. pointless to give advices to them.. lets just enjoy the ride hahaha
If it wasn't decorative, I'd've been more worked up about it.
THe fact that they didn't do the Trim before foaming up is what has me confused.
You know I’m 55 years old and I look forward to watching you guys every time a new show comes out. I live in the same area as you all do so that makes it even better. You all seem to have a wonderful family , and you parents should be very proud. Keep up the good work!!!
Make sure you take lots of static photos of all the walls as things go up - helps in finding wires, plumbing lines, etc before the drywall goes up. Believe me - very helpful later on when you want to do install or something else! Nothing worse than putting in a screw into an electrical or water line!
An amazing video. To watch these guys work is awesome. You guys will be able to build your next house by yourself. The step-by-step process is so fun to watch. Keep up to go to work.
The house is coming along nicely. I will be glad to see you guys get back on some car builds. Can't wait to see the classic Camaro finished.
Yes please I’m waiting on the camero
Wont see that being done !! I have a feeling they will never finish it !!
Exactly.... Getting bit bored without any car build.. Eagerly waiting for camero
I feel like with a build of this level they still have a lot to figure out and it’s been taking the back burner so maybe won’t see that for awhile
The Camaro build is the one I am the most excited about! I am also looking forward to seeing some new builds done on the frame machine!
That house is going to be like a mansion, can’t wait to see the process of the whole build, and really really proud to be Latino, and see my people working hard, to make a living on this Amazing land, thanks guys to let us coming along the ride. Give the Lambo to your alder brother, he the man.

Here's my comment to Goonzquad, Comida - It's illegal to hire illegal's to do work in this country! South America is straight up invading and raping this country and you are rewarding them for it and buying them lunch! How does it make Pops feel that he had to wait and pay to come here legally and these scumbags are cutting in line and disrespecting this country and it's laws AND TAKING AMERICAN JOBS tax free!. I've lost respect for this channel! When everything falls apart in the next few years largely do to millions of illegals coming in you boys can pat yourselves on the back for contributing to it! I'm so sick of this shit! But hey, you boys are getting yours, right?
And, Comida - "I'm proud to be Latino and see my people work"! That is the most racist thing I've heard today! And besides, your people are working off the backs of tax paying Americans as they pay no tax but use all the social services which comes to gigantic amounts of money. Get the F*^k out of my country!

Dang it, was hoping to catch y’all slippin with that Lambo
Most buildings have some form of barrier installed at the lower level of the wall to prevent water rising up in this way. It is called a damp proof course (DPC). These can be made of non-absorbant, water-resistant materials such as slate, bitumen and plastic depending on the period the property was built.
Them Mexican brothers killing the build 🇲🇽🇺🇸🇬🇧🇲🇽🇺🇸🇬🇧🇲🇽🇺🇸🇬🇧🇲🇽🇺🇸🇬🇧👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hell yea
Hispanics is the correct word
Nah they were Mexican I can tell
Sawmill wood is supposed to sit and air dry for up to a year before it's used .😁
And then planed for a nice looks
I have never seen anyone use fresh boards in a building like they did, so it was quite interesting to see the (expected) results. The boards were so thin that we didn't need to wait too long.
That would have been the right way to do it !! However doing things the right way isnt in their mind set when it came to building this barn !!!
@@tnolan3176 lol y u here bro u mad
Or they could have it kiln dried.
Cool to see the other brother get comfy on camera!!!!
Also nice to see that ya'll are using the ZIP system!!! After using it for my home that I'm currently building, there's just no other way and completely worth the slight extra costs!!!
I would have suggested their Advantech sub-flooring as well, but that stuff is probably stupid pricey, and probably hard to get....
This is going to be a fun series!!! Can't wait for some more!!!
Having your older brother in the videos adds that authentic human connections that captures so many viewers that I personally love. Not that Billy and Simeon are not authentic but they have established their feel of being in front of the camera. Whereas Victor brings back that courage I saw in the two younger brothers when they first created this channel. All in all HUGE fan since the TJ rubicon build and hoping your older brother continues to play a supporting role in the videos.
absolutely loving these building builds . the work you guys will be doing in the new shop is going to be EPIC.

They are lucky the truck interior didnt catch on fire !!!
I'm astounded they didn't know that a flammable liquid, on a dashboard, in summer - will explode
For me, this was one of the best. Cant go wrong with water soaked barnbuilds, sporty Mexicans, Lambo hungry bosses & exploding lighters.

I swear, I love the Goonzquad family more and more with every video! Keep it up, Y'all!!
100%, couldn't agree more on that!
Throw some gutters onto the backyard barn build and run the down spots out the back past the retaining wall before you finished backfilling will dirt. Caulk the bottom steel from the outside where it meets the concrete as well. Definitely handle your water leaking issue before you expoxy the floors. 🤜🏻🤛🏻

That wood needed to dry out for a couple of months with air space in between the stacked lumber. That's why you see warehouses full of cut lumber at sawmills.
Yep that woods buckling bad that they put up. They know for next time now.
I warned them when they started putting it up but they didn't listen.
Almost every slab is cracked now ouch
It went up green, with no time to acclimatise to see what it was going to do. It should’ve been stickered and left for a while before it was used.
Sometimes you have to learn. So, if you build a house or shop, the first you have to do is, to but a bituminous sheeting around at the edge of the concrete and you should have a little building overhang at the edge of the concrete. This way, no water can go inside.
Chief is filling out and looking good. All that running around the mountain is great for him.
Make sure you get them toenails, bubble fluid for their levels, and sky hooks to help build that roof!!

It is also possible that the drying wood has pulled your building so that the metal screws are no longer sealing.
Haste makes waste. Wood will do what wood does and has done forever.
They didn't put flashings on the corners. They didn't test for water tightness before lining it. Recipe for failure
@@GrahamCampbell-kr2gz Lol, yea all the daylight visible from the inside was a good indicator we would be seeing water intrusion at some point.

For the rain coming through the gables, do like on camper trailers. Outside corners cover with adhesive rubber roll.. then put steel angle over it. No more leak.
Inside the "barn" I would run some diagonal boards screwed to the warping boards to pull them flat. It would still have that barn look and noone would know it was keeping the wet boards from warping. Barns have a lot of cross bracing in them. Grab some boards and check it out.
He definitely deserves the lambo after building really 2 houses and I believe the new garage as well plus this way it also stays in the family
AWEsome, to see everything coming along in all areas. Suggestion - Run at least 2 internet drops of CAT6 to each location (port). These days, WiFi doesn't cover as well as a solid connection, easier, cheap to run them now and have a back-up if one goes bad. Best wishes GZ Fam, Thanks for sharing guyz.
Just a port on each floor and one in garage for access points.
Naw +2 for a couple ports in each room. That's what I did building my house. If it has the option of Wi-Fi or ethernet, ethernet is always the better choice (like tv's, dvr's, camera systems, etc.). There are only 2 spots I only ran one pull instead of two because I couldn't for the life of me comprehend why I would ever need one there.... And at one time or another I've regretted not having two in both spots.
I think they don't need 2 internet connection, if they put 2boxs of mass router(Total 2boxs =2*3 =6 )in their it'll be ok.
I love this house building process & how those lumber works. I hope you guys make a timelapse video on house build after finished up the whole entire build.

You need to put silikone spacers between the screw head and roof, which should have come with the roof screws. And also put silikone between each roofing collumn. Also roofing film under the roofing, which protects the buildings inside from the rain. I don't really think the insilation you put in the barn really protects from the rain.

To keep the rain out of the barn, y'all need to install Rake flashing where the roof meets the vertical walls. before the flashing, cover the seams with Peel and Seal flashing tape.
You should put up sheetrock/greenboard in the barn. Since you didn't dry the rough cut lumber and it warped it just doesn't have that quality look.
Its leaking water everywhere !!! And you know what will come next ---MOLD !!!!
They cut it way to thin. Should of made it 1" -1 1/2" thick and it wouldn't of warped so bad.
Even if theyy had framed it on 2 ft centers like you're supposed too. that Green wood is still going to be growing. Such a waste. they need a solar kiln
@@pat318turbo3 Green.wood on 4 foot centers is doomed. there is no thickness that wouldn't fail. The heavier those boards are the more they're going to hurt when they fall down and hit you.

Huge respect to you for introducing the hard workers on the site (often times they never even get talked to)
So hope you guys got plywood for the final floor and not OSB... especially if you are putting hardwood down. Problem is - in high traffic areas - if you nail/staple hardwood to OSB, after awhile the nails and staples won't stay in and will loosen... then you will get a noisy cracking hardwood floor that you can't get rid of. No amount of screwing it down gets rid of it. If you are going to put down hardwood, make sure plywood is under it... not OSB.
That Telegram comment is from scammers, nothing to do with real Goonzquad. Do not contact those and do not let them access your computer.
You can't just say osb in general. It's not all the same. Osb like advantech is far stronger than plywood for example.

Trading the Lambo for your Bro’s labor seems like a great idea. You’re blessed to have such a supportive family. Literally hundreds of comments about letting the lumber dry and sealing the seams but sometimes experience is the best teacher. Kudos to you guys for taking everything in stride.
Your brother should absolutely have that Lambo, I think he deserves it! 😁👍 About that lighter, it's happened to me too, luckily my car didn't catch on fire either but man, it sure makes you think twice before leaving something in the car! Another thing not to store in the car is gas cans! If you need a can in your car, make sure it has some sort of pressure relief valve on it, not only could it save your vehicle, it will save it from smelling of gas should it rupture! 😛
It's cool to see just how fast the house is coming together, your brother and his workers sure make it look easy! Stay safe out there guys, safety first and all that! 🙂
Heck ya man good deal and you are gonna let big bro shine with y’all. That’s a win win. Imagine the 3 boys taking a Sunday drive in the Lamborghini, Ferrari, and R8. Pops gotta be so proud . Came from the dirt and his boys are shining
another thing you could do if you was actually worried that the barn was sliding is to drill some holes down through the floor and whack some rebar down them in to the soil it would have to be deep tho them patch the holes on top, it definitely ain’t going anywhere then
