I have finally driven the new 2024 VW Tiguan. I drove over 600 miles in my week with the new VW Tiguan and really got a good feel for the car. The infotainment system is a huge step forward for VW but I was most surprised by the 1.5L petrol engine.

The Tiguan is now a big car. I passed a 24 plate one today and thought that it was a Touareg at first.
Really
😂😂😂
Cars are getting bigger and bigger - and I wonder where and how the hell people park in multi-storey car parks. Well, the answer seems to be that they take 1.5 spaces (i.e TWO spaces) - and there is no penalty for doing so ! Many new cars seem fine for North AMerican roads and parking - but too big for European ones, IMO.
Totally agree re the R/S lines, M sport and AMG line etc. It dilutes the brand.
Thanks 🙏🏻
I also agree. Mini have devalued the JCW brand by badging none JCW engined cars that just have a body kit.
Agreed. it’s all marketing gimmick & additional trimming way to increase the price of vehicle ….
Tried this exact model and engine is woefully underpowered… looks great but also drove Kia sportage in similar spec and what a difference, much better drive experience!
All VW are, with the exception of the handful of R models. I get it though, they need to stay competitive with their rivals in fuel economy. Every says, "give me more power." Then they complain about the less than stellar fuel economy. You can't have both.
Enjoyed Your Vlog Mr. Petrol Ped, Thanks For All Your Hard Work ... 👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Hello petrol ped
Great review very informative the bits that I am unsure on are the big screen on top of the dashboard I don’t understand why it can’t be integrate better. I also agree with you on the R point keep up the great work
Really enjoyed your interview and road test you are absolutely spot on regarding the R badging I totally agree with your statement.
Yes the 150 PS 1.5 EVO engine is a peach just imagine how the T Cross drives with the same engine!
Not keen like your self on the hear shift and indicator/wiper stalk but the I am old school too..
another great review PP. the hybrid next then the Full fat R review and road test.
You coming such a long way with the video style and format. Well done 👏 and agreed what you said 💯
I appreciate that!
Hi Ya Peds👌👌Loved you from the start and will love ya to the end. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
You rock!
Cheers Pedro Well balanced review.
Cheers mate 👍
Evening buddy. I like these pictures in White. The Sun makes that pop though. Nice
Why is there a lap-top on the dash? VW have really lost their way with interiors IMHO!
Unfortunately you've got the consumer to blame. People keep lapping these cars up so they assume we love them
VW has lost its way since dieselgate.
it's one of the best interiors in its class.
@@kraenk12 The others must be really grim!
Blame Tesla for the trend which have a giant TV in the middle of the dash.
Totally agree with you about the badges no sense in it
Thanks 🙏🏻
I agree with you about the R badging. Especially as I have a VW Arteon R.
Exactly right 👍
Completely agree about the R badge. Same as AMG and M sports pack on every second Merc and Beemer.
Glad you did this video. Been looking to move on from my 2021 M440i and had this in my sights.
But I think I will look elsewhere
Just ordered the 270bhp r-line phev
Can’t wait to get it
I enjoyed watching the Video Review. Still the best Volkswagen SUV 😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Excellent review Ped, as always. We looked hard at one of these recently when changing the Ioniq 5 but couldn't get with everything in the touchscreen and IMO the dashboard looks a bit dated. Went with a Sportage Plugin instead. Nice car though and I'm sure they'll sell shed-loads.
Good choice!
I have a plug-in hybrid R-Line on order and can’t wait to get it. Thanks for the review and your opinion of the new Tiguan.
Good choice!
204 or 272hp?
204 as it is better for me on company car tax.
You are so right about car manufacturers misusing their high performance branding. A few years ago I had an M3 and someone said “I have one as well,” no he didn’t he had a mid range car with the M-Sport pack! No M engine, gearbox, suspension and brakes, just a normal car with a nice interior. But he really thought they were the similar cars!
The Koreans are like that too. The Hyundai N-Line (which is just cladding), vs their "N" performance model. Even the reviewers mix these up.
i had a 69 plate R line Tech edition 1.5 dsg and got a vw call to sell it back so did and now have a fun car . An Up! GTi . I Just don't miss the Tiguan
You do realize the Tiguan is a tall Golf.
@@krane15 thought that was the T-roc
Another good review. I took delivery of mine at the weekend. It is better with the pan roof which I ordered as an extra. The infotainment is a bit of a minefield for me tbh but it’s early days and I’ll get there in the end! I got the diesel btw
Nice 👌
Watch out for the spider traps blocking and not allowing water to drain from the roof gutters. Once blocked water comes down the A pillars and wets the carpets.
@@peterjackson8409 not great! I’ll keep an eye out but not sure how the water would get past the door rubbers but thanks for the heads up!👍🏻
I do like that car after having my GTD Estate and it always reminds me of that car when I see a black one. The numbers also sound good on the PHEV version. Very interesting.
Whats the yellow beautiful thing in your garage nice video pete
My Lotus Emira long termer 👍
Enjoyable Review this (am new to the channel) - and the Schnauzers were a bonus (owning one myself !). This new version is now the size it needs to be - the previous one wasn't that roomy in the back at all - though I am 6'4". I am considering one of these later this year.....but I think I'm right to say that the overly large Screen doesn't HAVE to be 15" - you can choose a 12" one - and that's what I'd do. Sun Roof a must by the looks of it.
Schnauzers are the best 👍
Another great vid, thank you. No sign of a 4motion variant?
Not yet!
I agree with what you say about the column stalks. Indicators/ lights on the left and wipers on the right. The centre screen can be confusing with all functions contained. We don't need further distraction. Change for the sake of it.
These are functional changes. But some manufactures off a double stalk configuration. One for turn signals, etc. and one solely dedicated to wipers behind that.
Pete. Best place for the gear selector. Need to drive more Mercs.
Please bring the plug in very interested in that version. Great follow up review
Now THAT's what the Tiguan is for: hauling the Petrol Pups! 👍🐕
Oh yes 🙌
Love your dogs
Thanks 🥰
I’ve loved my mk1 and mk2 Tiguans. Looking to buy Mk3 petrol and not sure about Hybrid and battery life. The spider traps on the panoramic roof blocked and caused wet carpets. Arrrghh! Looking forward to your Hybrid review. Thanks.
Cheers mate
Nice review - do the speed bong and lane assist settings get saved - or do you have to do it every time?
You have to do it every time sadly 😢
Another terrific video review Ped! I totally agree with you about the sticking badges on which then mean nothing about cars performance like you it drives me nuts. I can only see it getting worse as we move into the world of common platforms and EV technology. The only thing left to differentiate between them will be their styling packs! As for all these large informant screens I’m waiting for the EU to ban them as being a distraction to the driver, if you can’t use a mobile or tablet in a vehicle in UK how can these screens even be considered legal or safe
Thanks 🙏🏻
Does that one have the 48v mild hybrid system?
I'd have an Octavia estate with the 1.5etsi for 50mpg+ myself. I'd assume it would be a lighter car than the Tiguan also.
Great review, but honestly when does anyone drive 1000km without a stop? My last car was a Golf 8 and it was plagued by software problems. Hopefully this newer VW doesn't suffer these problems.
I'm hanging on for the plug-in hybrid version too. Thanks for the updated review. Just wondering on the noise level within - it seems quiet enough, were you happy with it? Also, how did you find the new light system at nights and was the adaptive chassis control any good. I have not heard anyone talk about the sound system within - is it the upgraded Harman Kardon sound system or the standard sound system - if standard is it worth the upgrade to the HK system do you think? Thanks!
I didn’t get the chance to drive it at night 😢 The stereo was great but I’m no expert in that area 😬
No worries, thanks a million. I’ll keep an eye out if you do get to review the plug in at a later date. Thanks.
Are the wing mirrors standard black? I’ve tried to ask for the black wing mirrors with the white but was told that’s not standard with the R Line?!
I had the Seat version of the last model, it was excellent, l shouldn’t have sold it. The new one looks nice but tippy tappie controls don’t do it for me. I had a 2020 Audi TT and that’s as much technology as I want, all I need a screen to do show me pictures, reverse camera, sat nav, etc. Controls need buttons and switches. Driving down roads with your left arm stretched out swaying around with a finger flying solo trying to tap a button whilst looking where you are going at 60 mph is dangerous. Nice video though, I was looking forward to seeing your test. Good job.
Not for me, I really think VAG has lost the plot with the whole haptic thing, its borderline dangerous and I can't see me ever getting a car that relies on that tech. Also agree with the badge engineering aspect of using the R logo for marketing only...its just a con, stop doing it! Thanks for your review though, its good to see you doing all sorts and not just the stuff you love.
They're not alone. The entire automobile industry has that fever. Audi has it bad. Toyota and Hyundai are notable holdouts to tradition, and their buyer are happier for it.
Some people don't mind haptic (Tesla owners). These are trend setting people which is why they purchased an electric car to begin with. But VW buyers are not like Tesla people. They far more traditional and conservative. They're the opposite. They don't mind tech, as long as its packaged logically. VW learned that the hard way. But they should have known better from the beginning.
Interesting, thinking of what the replacement for our aging Freelander 2 diesel could be. I believe the Hybrid Tiguan won't make it to OZ anyway so, like you, I would have like to see you running one for a while too. Cheers and thanks.
Just ordered the match 150 bhp.
Love the schnauzers, we have one.
Great dogs 👍
I’m planning on replacing my 2019 Golf for something bigger and with a higher ride height. I tried to like the newer VW options but I prefer buttons and dials to touch sensitive screens, and they only offer plug-in hybrids which doesn’t really suit my needs.
I suppose at least you can now change the drive mode more easily, on my Golf there’s a button, but that just brings up the options on the infotainment screen, then you’ve got to try and select the one you want without taking your eyes off the road. It’s why my Golf spends 95% of its time in eco mode. 😂
I have the previous gen Tiguan. 2021 R-Line 1.5 TSI DSG. I really like it, lacks a bit of power getting away to be honest. I'm interested in the plug in hybrid variant of this new Tiguan. Not sure on the rotary dial thingy, seems a bit naff and pointless as it's not controlling the screen like an iDrive system
Turbo lag. They all have it. Although some manufactures such as Genesis, switch to twin turbo to reduce (though not totally eliminate) that lag.
I'd like to see one in person.. when I ordered my Q5 Sline (3 years old now) I got a better deal on the Audi that I would have done on the VW, so went for the Audi 2.0 TDI.. We regularly get over 40MPG, and did 600 miles on a tank of fuel (to Paris and Back) and wasn't driving lightfooted. But the VW Tiguan I've always liked,, so will look forward to seeing it in person.
Don’t think Renault do RS anymore. It’s the Apline trim that’s replaced it I think? (Austral)
Yep. Espirit Alpine. Been on a Renault launch today 😜
The trim level winds me up as well, especially without "Line" being on the badge
There are plenty of other designations any of them can use.
The everything on one stalk doesn't work either, but using a stalk for the gears works well, Renault do it and I liked it when I've driven them.
The lack of buttons winds me up..
Its nice, just another VAG SUV....
In my opinion Elegance is the Trim that I would recommend 😊
👍
The best balance of price and features.
I know you haven’t had a long test drive yet and it was a bigger engine and four wheel drive! but how does it drive compared to the new MINI Countryman?
I’d compare it to the Countryman C. I think the Mini is more dynamic but it’s not as big as the Tiguan.
Touch of Hay fever there Peter? It's that time of year I'm afraid!
Nearly. It’s a head cold I’ve had for nearly 3 months 😮
@@PetrolPed Oh No! I don't suppose your busy schedule is helping. Hopefully you can get a break over the Summer. Get well soon and all the best.
I do worry about the longevity and replacement costs of these computer type screens on modern cars. The rev counter bulb has just gone on my 20 year old Mondeo and I can live with that😊 will modern tech last as long
My choice will be between Tucson and Tiguan . Wich is your prefered ? Thanks …
I tried to spec one the other day and there are no 4 wheel drive options now? big downner for me, makes it useless. I cant see the point in getting a car this size if it isnt a 4x4
4:39 exactly. Fraudulent badging.
Could you have a go in the New Cupra Tavascan
That does look good
Peter…it is a good car for family life with a few bits sprinkled to cheer it up for ales…all those “R” badges….a bit like Ford selling Fiestas in a selection of Special Editions in the 1980’s! Most buyers will be undemanding sorts who need a reliable and practical car but I still think the older one looked better and bought nearly new, might be the best choice. A neighbour is due to get a new Tiguan very soon to replace his Company 21 plate…it is his work tool but it does that job well. Now….when do the builders move in to get going on the garage??😀😀😀😀Richard.
Today once we’ve had the first site meeting with the building inspector 👍
@@PetrolPed I recall that day when I started my new garage in 1993 and the inspector turned up in gloss finish brogues! My bricklayer Bert…47 years in the trade…took one look and said “ How’s he an inspector? He could t work out which end of a spade was the handle!”. After he had gone, Bert started work to machine build standards…totally perfect! Good luck Peter…🤞🏼🤞🏼😃😃😃😃😃
Good review Ped. Not feeling much love for the Tiguans looks, it’s like a taller ID4/5 and those are dull to look at. I can see some half hearted attempts to rectify some of the quality, software and interior issues….perhaps Cupra and Skoda, will do as they have recently with a lot of these platform vehicles and make a better package….hybrid version and maybe the “proper” R might be the sweet spot. And VW need to get with 2024 and do a 5-7 year warranty
Haha... they need to first make their cars a bit more reliable else it'll cost um too much 😂. Spoken from a vw Tiguan driver.
Fair enough!
Re the R-Line comment, back in the 1980s I bought a new Golf Mk2 1300 that the dealer had totally upgraded inside and out to mimic the appearance of a GTi 16-valve. Problem was, the engine had all of about 55 bhp and wouldn't pull the skin of a rice putting which created a problem as everyone wanted to race me!
I got rid of it after 6 months and bought a Peugeot 205 GTi.
LOL 😂
To make things even more confusing the designation for Golf is GTI and R. There is no R-Line Golf. At least not for North America. We don't get the Golf.
Hello Pete - completely agree about the use of the R badge when a car isn’t actually a R
performance car. Why is VW producing such hideous looking wheels - those black ones just don’t suit the car. Mixed feelings about the size of the touchscreen but functionality certainly seems to have improved. Is there no diesel option or 4motion available? Why don’t you test the new Passat with the same engine or a plug-in version to see how it compares to the Tiguan - SUV vs estate. Keep up the good work.
Thanks 🙏🏻
Is that the new yellow Porsche in the garage Pete.😮
Lotus Emira 😜👍
Mmm…. I take back my original comment about it looking a bit dull and like Everything else, though I do still think it looks Toyota ish, maybe not a bad thing. To be fair, it seems quite a big improvement on its predecessor. Good review. 👍
Fair enough!
It looks nothing like a Toyota which are far more angular. Mazda maybe. Subaru possibly.
How many miles with a full tank ?
I really hope you get to drive a PHEV, because it seems to me that VW are doing something very interested in the PHEV space. They have announced a *load* of PHEV models in the last few months, all of which have an impressive 50kW DC charging and 100km of claimed range. For instance the battery to take a Skoda Kodiaq 100km is going to be a fair bit bigger than the battery to do the same in a Cupra Leon, but they always claim the same EV range figure.
Off the top of my head, the VW group PHEVs announced so far, all with this spec, are models of: Tiguan, Golf, Passat, Superb, Leon, Formentor, Kodiaq. And probably some others which I've missed.
So VW do seem to be committing quite hard to PHEVs which I think is really interesting.
Although I do wish they wouldn't quote single overall MPG and range figures for PHEVs, because they're pointless.
Claiming a PHEV can do 200MPG or whatever is only useful if you happen to drive on that exact WLTP test cycle - which no ordinary driver is going to do.
Much more useful would be for WLTP or whoever to specify 2 figures - one for MPG on a flat battery, and one for pure EV range (to be fair I think they do quote the second figure).
If you know a car has, for example, 40 miles of realistic EV range and then will do 45 MPG on a flat battery, you can make a much better estimate of how much you will use on your own day to day journeys.
For instance if you have a regular journey of 80 miles, that's going to look like 90 MPG overall.
But if you drive 100 miles, it's 75MPG overall. And you could work it out for your own journey lengths- admittedly I have Excel fired up to help me out at this point!
I know cars may vary from that slightly using different modes or using Battery Hold or whatever, but it isn't going to be far out ... but we need WLTP or someone to produce those 2 figures.
First! Evening all! Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the fantastic weather in the U.K. today. I find that this new version now looks a lot like the I.D 4.
Good morning!
I would argue the previous generation is far better looking. The creases and lines are more aggressive looking and didn't have a huge screen glued to the dash like everything else these days. This looks like a bloated golf mk6 front end mated with a T Cross rear
Shame you didn’t have the Phev version. Would be interesting to see it matched the mpg figures of the RAV4 Phev.
Next time 👍
Why have VW lost there way so much. I had 6 Passat, 2 Golfs, 1 Polo it when I was looking for a new car in November 23 and was selling my from new 12 year old Jaguar xf there was not a single VW I would of bought. The massive one yes but the £80k price was no. I ended up getting a Mazda CX60 and that surprised me but I have to say a lot of car and so far I am impressed the PHEV is quite amazing.
James
Hmm, maybe its the 4.3 billion in fines?
The "R" on the R-Line is has highlighted edges. The "R" performance, has a solid R. Makes sense now? Yeah, its a ridiculous system. For dislikes, that would be the sport seats. The ergo active seats are great, but I hate these seats with integrated headrest with zero ability to adjust. They make no sense in a family car.
Speaking of adjustments, I wish the tight extender worked on the rear seat too. Considering I have a family of six-footers. I know cars at this tier don't offer any adjustments on the rear seat. Maybe in the future. For now, at least the driver and front seat passenger will arrive after a road trip in comforts.
On the positive side, does it still offer that neat USB-C port at the rear view mirror for easy install of a dash cam? It makes the dash cam install a simple plug & play. The only thing better would be one at the rear.
One more thing, never tell us what you're NOT going to tell us. Just tell us what you want us to know. What we don't know, we won't miss.
As a big AMG fan and owner, AMG line irritates me too....as do after market stick on AMG decals. But I'm a bit of a hypocrite as my daily is currently an MSport BMW i4, bad in every way I guess🙄
😂😂😂
Good review as always.I think the tech would annoy me after a while.I like buttons.
Fair enough!
I have had the last model of this tiguan for 3 month and i am very impressed with it especially with the mpg as stated in the video. I'm not keen on the red colour though and would like to see it in white as mine is.
Thanks for sharing
the hesitation when setting off is a common fault on the 1.5 tsi engines, thought you might of mentioned the deactivation of two cylinders when cruising to save on fuel. the biggest bug bear for me and for most new cars are the touch screens, lane assist and haptic buttons, we the car buying public in general do not want them. grrrr
Doesn't do it for me but I totally get it. But still, the design does really not tempt me.
I’ve finally caught up lol. 😜
You legend. Next vid drops tonight so you have time to rest but you will like tonight’s episode 😜👍
Why vw didn't use a 2.0L tsi instead of the 1.5tsi is anyones guess, I drove a new passat and the only thing that ruined the car was that 1.5 tsi it sounded so strained and felt underpowered. The tiguan weighs more so I can imagine it be worse. It will be the same problem with the plug in hybrid, once the battery is depleted you are left with that 1.5tsi it will be even worse as you will have the extra weight of the hybrid battery to carry around. I have ended up order the New skoda Superb estate as that is offered with a 2.0L diesel which is far better suited and will last longer then a strained 1.5.
Its not a guess, government air quality regulations. That's where the push to EVs come from.
Its volkswagen cutting costs, skoda is offering way more options @krane15
Let’s hope there’s a full fat r again
Oh yes 🙌
The speed warning is single handidly the most autocratic rules the EU has introduced. I would say 50% of the time the speed limit display by the car is incorrect! If everyone is also turning it off then that tells you everything you need to know!
It would help if our councils trimmed trees and hedges that grow over roadsigns.....
I get 70+mpg from my 2.0 litre Diesel E Class on the motorway, these Figures for the Tiguan do not impress
If you don't care about hp.
I spy a new Porsche in the garage 😉
That yellow thing? Its the Lotus long termer.
Nope, I shan't be changing my Mk2 Tiguan for the Mk3. I dislike the indicators and wipers on the left-hand stalk and why put the gear selector on the steering wheel? It might have freed up space in the centre for a jog-wheel but that doesn't exactly do very much. By the way, the basic version or Hybrid Life has a starting price of £42,525 and that means another £2,000 or so in 'luxury tax' for the next five years with it being over £40k. (And I can get more than 44mpg in my 150PS TSI).
Gallons? They don't use liters in the UK!? Watching the whole video, still not knowing how much liters it consumed for 100 kilometers 🙄😬🤔🤦♂️
We buy fuel in litres and measure fuel economy in mpg 😜😂
@@PetrolPedWell that's a great help for most Europeans 🙄😬 So, what was the consumption in liters per 100 km? 🤔
Are those R badges not on an R? Be fuming if I’d just bought an R 😮
Exactly 🤷♂️
One is solid. The lesser is outlined.
Hello mate
Hi 👋
This car doesn’t make me wanna gun it down the road…… However I want to switch off Speed Warning as I don’t mind excessive speed in a restricted area. Mmmm 🧐🧐🧐
You are such an angel 🙄
Funny thing though - the R hardly looks like a R. It looks more like some 2 y.o 's art work.
🎉
❤
Hyundai do the fake N line aswell i completely understand what you’re saying
Yep 😢
44 mpg is bloody good
You think?
@@willielarsson9651 Not really I'm an EV fan
@@mrmawson2438 Now you're comparing apples to oranges.
Mazda doesn't do that...Mazda is Mazda and it doesn't need "decorations" like R, S-line, ST-Line..., which are supposed to suggest what the car actually isn't...or. sand in the eyes....that's why I drive a Mazda, because a Mazda really is a Mazda.
On the contrary, Mazda just does it in a different fashion. If you've noticed, they're in the process of redefining their entire brand. Moving it up a tier. But if you want sportiness, get a Miata. That's it.
@@krane15 They really go to a higher rank, because they already offer a high level of production compared to VW, Ford and others...
But here we are talking about kitsch, which should suggest something that the car is not.
Mazda doesn't do that... but maybe on which Mazda do you see the MazdaSpeed sign?
And what if you still want a sportier car, which should also be able to handle off-road, etc., so SUW... as was the case with me.
Are you going to buy a Tiguan with "R" or a regular CX-5 (2022 model-new...2.5L-194 horses, AWD and top trim)...which is sportier?
Even for the 2020-2021 models, testers in Europe claimed that the chassis is so sporty and stiff that the car is not suitable for long journeys... this is Mazda's orientation towards the sportiness of the MX-5... Miata is Mazda's ideal with which they try to get closer with all models...some more, others less, but the basic orientation is the Miata.
Also, every new engineer who gets a job at Mazda must first drive a Miata to get to know that feeling, which is the goal when designing all other models....
Yep, gotta be PHEV, or better still a 3L V6 Tdi with 369 ftlbs of torque. And it needs lowering, at least 6 inches, maybe 8 or 10. Basically it needs to ba an estate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Car makers can't give me what I want these days!
As someone else said down-thread I also had the SEAT Ateca version of this car with the same 1.5 engine and the earlier infotainment system. I liked it so much that after 4 years I moved to the Cupra Formentor V2 with the same configuration. I get around 42mpg (I live in a rural area) and the performance is as you point out.
that was the last gen model.
@@kraenk12 If you mean the engine, then I believe that was the VW Group 1.4 TSI which was superseded by the 1.5 around 2017/18.
Imagine paying 70k for a Tiguan.
Over priced seen one in my VW dealership it was £48,000! I would be looking at an Audi
First, someone enviably says that for ever review about every car. Second, was that the MSRP or the dealer's markup?
I think some car manufacturers have become really lazy, with very little thought put into the design of cars to make owning one more practical or jusr more user friendly. Everything is done with cutting costs as the top priority. I honestly think the only cars that have somw thought over savings is Skoda. The price of cars is also a joke, youll pay over £50k for a mainstream car these days, with no sunroof and scratchy plastic everywhere.
Looks really boring, inside and out, and hate the Halfords black wheels also 👎🏻😔. Old Tiguan had lots of striking angular looks, new model no thanks ❗️
German car makers are falling rapidly behind. The designs and interiors are just very tired in comparison to better alternatives from the likes of Kia. I know so many who have ditched VW, Skoda etc because they find the design and interiors more appealing on the new Kia’s and Nissan for example. VW has always had bland and plastic feeling interiosr, all they’ve done here is add a large screen and crossed their fingers.
Not discussed in the video, but the list price of new cars these days and the ‘luxury car’ VED surcharge levied by the Gov on cars over £40k needs a discussion.
The Tiguan is not a luxury car, yet this car ‘as tested’ will be charged at £600/year for years 2-5. This is scandalous and not mentioned by sales staff when considering these cars as I have recently discovered.
A VW Tiguan is not luxury. A Bentley, Porsche, Range Rover, etc is. If you’re a successful CZcamsr living in a private development near Goodwood, £600/year may not be a huge amount of money, but for normal folk it’s huge.
Don’t worry mate. It’s huge for me too 🤷♂️
sorry thats a crash waiting to happen theres to much distraction for the driver , theres laws in place to stop people using there phone then all of a sudden theres a mini laptop slaped where a sensable dash / console shud be
