Big Arm, good pocket presence, runs and keeps his eyes downfield, and durable. Idk what else you need. Build a good line and stop trying to throw 30 yards downfield every play without a running game. Both teams in the SB have a great running game with the Best QBs in the league.

i was thinking maybe trade number 2 for more picks for a better o line because even if we do get a good qb we still can only get 3 ppl in o line that are actually good
Agreed! Saw each snap by Sam. He really looked good, until after the Seahawks game. Everything fell apart. Never cared for EB’s scheme. Long-developing plays. Lack of a running game. No RPO’s, which Sam ran in college. Plus, had Sam throw for an NFL-high 617 times. Ridiculous. I believe if all that changed, Sam would have more success. Unfortunately, at #2, we might be getting a QB, as you said.
The positive about Howell is that he has excellent footwork and pocket presence to help his line out. Good at placing the ball in great position and a rocket of an arm. However, his downfall is that he holds onto the ball too much to go for the homerun hit. Which can get him in trouble by taking sacks or rushing his throws leading to an int. I do appreciate that about him, but sometimes he needs to take the death by a thousand cut approach to set up the dagger in the back.
He seems very talented. He just has to flick the wrist and that ball goes flying! Looks like John Snyder finally got what he wanted. He's just gonna have to change that number now...he's prob so hyped to be a Hawk now! Go HAWKS!
Hoping he outperform smith in the preseason so he can be the starter this year. He is a physical qb, reason he had so many ints was because washington had an awful oline he was given 2-3 seconds to throw the ball, seahawks oline is average at best but he have better weapons with metcalf, Lockett, njigba, Fant, walker, char-bonnet etc….
Isn't he sucking it up at seattle training camp? Wtheck happened... did bienemy break him? But tbh his size may be something he can't overcome. He literally can't see over the line of scrimmage.
Fix the O-line, Get Sam a super receiver and a tight end, and do something with that overhyped defense. Build a team around him, He has got all the tools to be a great QB in this league!
