Parisian Masquerade | Joshua Kyan Aalampour

This is the piano MIDI tutorial for my composition "Parisian Masquerade". I was viewing luxurious apartments in Paris online and felt inspired by the architecture - so I composed this. Am I playing into the "American overly romanticizing Paris" stereotype? Probably. But hey at least some art came out of it!

So glad I stumbled across you on CZcams! I’ve already purchased some of your sheet music. You are a remarkably talented young musician. As one other commentator mentioned, the mood shifts in this piece are brilliant. I don’t know why but it makes me visualise ballerinas practising at the Royal Ballet studios (very specific, I know 😂 but I was surrounded by a lot of dancers and classical musicians growing up).
