    This theory does not call into question the other currently accepted theories concerning the evolution of the human species, but is a contribution to a new orientation of research, ignored by scientists until our publication. This documentation has been sent to various French scientific institutes and doctors (more ...). Doctor LEFEBURE is a precursor. At his time and since 1960, he had informed the French official educational, medical, scientific, industrial, religious and political instances of his many discoveries and their different applications (pedagogical, psychological, historical and philosophical). Nowadays, all his research on the applications of cerebral rhythms, in particular on brain alternation and on the rhythmic functions of the brain, is a solid reference for all the other researchers.

    s it even.. gives it symmetry .. Its part of the art

    He heats the glass in one spot till it is hot enough to and he blows on the tube to apply a bit of pressure to keep it from collapsing as he applies a delicate twisting pressure in one direction.. Then he heats the tube a little farther down and twists in the opposite direction... Its all done by eye and art... If you mean the caps.. he twists off the end of a tube lined with color like the one in the video and heats and twists it till it looks like he wants it too. Thats the best I can explain

    That "break" is thermal shock. When glass cools it needs to cool evenly and slowly or it will break. Glass blowers and lamp workers often use an annealer to bring the glass temp down slowly and evenly. The coefficient of energy has to match when blending different glass together. If they cool at different rates....it usually breaks. sometimes not right away but it usually breaks.

  • @wickedglass
    @wickedglass Před 13 lety

    @Pseudoplaydo the "rod" that he's using is called a "tube", the difference being that a rod is solid and a tube is hollow .... hope that helps

    I was just wondering, because I have never in my life had any experience or great interest in glass crafting. It was in the middle of your video that I realized that though entertaining and informative, your video would not seem to be of any regular appeal to me, and so I wondered how I get here in the first place. I forget.

  • @TheThrashCW

    If you really just want to try it out then you could buy a basic butane torch (creme brulee torch) and soft glass to get a feel of what it's like to work with before switching over to a proper setup with an Oxy-Propane torch and Borosilicate glass.
    I would also recommend checking out what kind of workshops might be available in your area through various independent studios, and if you're really serious, College and University programs where you can major in Flameworking.

    you need to use boro glass, the reason why your bottles shattered is because you don't have a kiln to put the heated glass in once you remove it from he torch flame. so it can slowly be cooled down

    I believe what he is doing there is to raise the over all temp of the rod before he melts the end to keep it from shattering.. Thermal shock and such... I have never seen or heard him talk about haling to clean carbon off the outer fire.. But.. Lots of things I do not know about it... Could be the quality of your gas.. If you have dirty hoses, propane, or oxygen.. I would imagine buildup would occur..

I'm using boro, is it because I'm not melting in the colors good enough or something else I'm not aware of?

    hey quick question. right before you put on your blow pipe you took a swipe at the face of your torch with a rod. do you get carbon buildup growing out of the front on the outer fire? I have an old cenco burner and it spits alot of crap out when I run the inner and outer at the same time. just curious if yours does the same
