  • In this livestream I will attempt to solve an i12pm that has been dropped from a rollercoaster. It is currently stuck at .07a on dcps and in this video we will see if it can be recovered.

    Currently have a “brain dead” iPhone 11 Pro Max, I tried to start this checking process you were doing on the caps near the coils, I just gave up cos I didn’t think I was doing the right thing, seeing this video has given me confidence to want to resume my checks, hopefully I’m able to solve it
    Great job 👏

    It's a really good repair man !!! Definitely going to watch this again.
    Can you make a video about power rails and what to test?? And what is necessary to boot??

      I probably won't make a dedicated video but you can kind of pick that info up as you watch!

    Thanks, man. I really appreciate your time and effort put into this. I would have preferred if it was the pmic that was bad so I could learn how you remove and you replace it 😆
    My question here is that. Does using the multimeter on voltage mode to measure reading also apply to diagnosing baseband problems? I really just learned how to use that mode on this video now

    • @iBoardRepair
      @iBoardRepair  Před 9 měsíci

      It's a lot harder to measure voltages on baseband because I am not sure at what point which are supposed to be turning on. You would have to discover that yourself!

    Question: theoretically, before you went for pm ic swap, could you see on the schematic v_in line of the ram before it goes to pm ic, and v_out after the pm ic? Thanks you
