Elton wasn't kidding about being Louder Than Concorde. The last FYBR show i went to was loud as i was at the front. A member of crew said he liked brite sounding monitors too and was known for blowing a few up.
15:17 the drum fill Nigel does on record but never does live also a great one at 16:07 one reason why Nigel’s live contribution has always been subpar.
Always wanted to see more Elton rehearsal footage and recordings. Him messing with arrangements, vocals, songs never performed.

It was Charlie Morgan on drums in these years. Nigel came back in 1999 or something..
