I might be nerding, but you can easily do it with just a stone pick. Mining one obsidian block with a stone pick takes 62.5s (based on info from the minecraft wiki). Which means that you could take about a minute to get a stone pick and then 3minutes to break three blocks of obi, which is enough to pass through with a trapdoor and stand up your dog. Then you can teleport it away. All that in even less then 5 minutes if you are fast.

Honestly didn’t know that. For some reason I always thought that every pickaxe was the same time to break as a fist except for diamond and above. Welp.
