Just back from Girona last week, thanks for giving me the chance to re-live this magical place. I would also point out for anyone reading this, the ticket for the cathedral not only counts for the 2 churches but the Girona Art Museum too 👌
Good shout Robbie!
Girona is so so so nice! Just visited a few days ago from Barcelona.
It's a beautiful city!
Watching this video one more time before experiencing Girona myself in the morning . Can’t wait .
Have a great time!
Thanks! I enjoyed the walk around Girona. Un Fuerte Abrazo.
Gracias Luis!! Un abrazo 🤗
Thanks!
Appreciate the support. A big thank you to you!!
I did a similar walk through Girona in March 2023. Very enjoyable, especially the park built in & around the medieval ruins behind Girona cathedral. Made the mistake of showing up at the train station without a reservation. The wait was short since it wasn't high season but I recommend making one whenever you go. Thanks Patrick!
You’re welcome!
Just in time Patrick. We will be in Barcelona in three weeks and we will go to Girona. Thanks 😊 Ramón y Zoe
Awesome! Great city
@@PatrickGuideBarcelona did you see our comment on Instagram?
I love Girona. The castle wall, the Belvaros, the big park, the canal (which also has water). However, I do not recommend the train station toilet. It is no coincidence that there is sometimes security there. 😅 You were lucky. Now there was water in the larger river as well. it's much more atmospheric that way. Thx your walKing in Girona.
Parc de la Devese and river Riu Ter, and Jarcines park and Citadell more Nice place in Girona…
Great walk through. You showed us a couple of things we wished we would have seen. I will say u may have missed the best plaque for the effiel brigde. I you look up to the left you can see the original plaque.
Thank you for sharing!
Amazing! Gracias! We're coming to Barcelona tomorrow and are going to Girona next Saturday so this is super timely! BTW, where is a good place to watch the Bears (American Football) while in Barcelona :)
You’re welcome! Cocovail for the Bears game
@@PatrickGuideBarcelonawe have a a wine tasting at 6 tomorrow. Are you free to do a tour tomorrow afterwards? We'd love to do a tour of Bari Gothic? Are you available?

My Boi ya know you just stole my heart with Girona- I’ve been looking last few days trying to figure out the train to get there and back in a day trip . What is name of high speed station?
Sant Estació in Barcelona will get you right to Girona!
Great video mate thank you. I'm coming to spain for the f1 grand prix & had found some really nice place to stay in Girona, I was wondering if you think it would be fine on grand prix weekend commuting via train between barcelona, the circuit & girona? I understand public transport will be a lot busier but I was curious as I was really liking the idea of staying in Girona & getting a train or bus into barcelona to explore & on the f1 days just getting the train direct from girona to montmelo (I think this is possible?). Edit: ok after a little research It looks like it would be a lot easier for me to just get the train direct from girona to barcelona & then use the segales bus to the circuit. I assume because I am prebooking the train journeys to and from barcelona I shouldnt have any issues with the train being crowded or not getting a seat? As this was one of my initial worries, thank you!
Sounds like you got it figured out! Girona is great and the train to Barcelona is super fast and easy. Unfortunately the track is a bit outside the city. Maybe I’ll see you there!

Good timing. I’ll be in Girona in 2 weeks. So the high speed trains leave from the little station in the back? Don’t want to lose my train
