Thanx. I seriously have no idea what bolts were used, the shop did it for me. Wish I could help more. I'd say go for whatever treads match the bars(or thread into the risers), I bet they used harley bolts, thats all they do at that shop is harley and they had em in stock, so...
Its a small world! Somehow your interstate made it all the way to Colorado Springs and into my driveway! Love the bars and it still rides smooth as butter. Thanks for sharing your videos as it has givin me a better understanding of the bike. Just out of curiosity do you still have the key for the fork lock?
That's awesome !! I do have a spare key. Wen I sold it I couldn't find it but...ull have to send a lil video or some pics. Hopefully she is as great to you as she was for me. I named her Sade ( the female jazz singer) cause shes a "Smooth Operator " and shes one sexy lady 🤙
I also have info on the TPMS system, the LED underglow, the battery tender / heated gear plugs and service records. I do have an awesome 2 up seat for it as well, so...
I got to say she rides like a dream! I upgraded from a shadow 750 bobber so.. Love the handlebar postion. I can see why you spoke so highly of this bike. I'de love any info you can give on this bike. Is there a switch to turn the fog lights off or are they permanently on? Let me know. I just finished moving so what can I do to aquire the spare key from you. Thanks again.
That's awesome to hear. The foglights stay on all the time. Get settled, hit me up. I have the key, a NICE seat and the windshield, a certified maintenance record from Honda. Keep in touch, we'll figure this out 🤙
@MATHEWWAY-u3k the guy that did it retired unfortunately.. I do know they were measured for bar diameter, and he had to drill out the tree to make them ( the bolts ) fit through. We went individual risers to help with the nurling spacing. Thanx for watching and doin some research but I seriously have no way of getting that info. He said it was definitely a project and would Never do bars on an Interstate again, so... lol. Take ur time, measure twice I guess. Keep me posted on ur progress 🤙
I wasn't sure what to ask for or what it is actually even worth, so...I looked it up and JP Cycles has it for right around $250-$300...they say it's the exact fit and size so...I'd hate to sell u a used one when u can get one brand new for damn near what I'd sell mine for. I honestly thought it'd be more expensive than that. Check it out, jus type in ur bike and it'll pull right up 🤙 (and the wife thinks I should keep it jus for longer rides) which is probably smart. Lol
Would really appreciate your help on the ape hanger set up information. I can send you my email if needed. Riding long distance with stock bar at 6'0 tall. Lower back issues. Thanks in advance.
Unfortunately I don't have that bike any more and I got rid of my build sheet. All the info I had was on the receipt I showed in the video. Wish I could be of more help to you...best bet is find a local bike shop, use my video for reference to Todd's Cycle and kinda just go from there. Like I said in the video, it was a process cause Honda really doesn't give you many options so you end up doin full custom. I'd start with the risers...you will need atleast 4 inches just to get above the cluster and the tank. If I can help answer specific questions, reach back out, but all I really had was on that sheet of paper, maybe hit pause and zoom in...sorry I can't help too much more than this. Be safe and thanx for watching. Let me know how it all goes 🤙
Actually if I remember correctly, a friend gave me those off of his VTX 1300. U got me thinking for a minute,. The Hondas are damn near interchangeable for those. Try looking up a 2013 VTX, That's wat his bike was.
Just the video I'm looking for coz am currently considering risers and bar change.
Hope it helps you out. 🤙
Appreciate you sharing. Got a feeling you got the Indian.
Thanx. Gonna take the Chieftain out for a few days next...see which one I like best
Beautiful bike enjoy your content What size riser bolts did you use i have 2010 interstate

I asked in an older video if you would sell the windshield??
