haha I felt that way about roaches in the beginning too, but these are a lot different than your normal "wild" roach outside, which are so dirty and give me the heeby jeebies. haha thank you XOXO

Thank you for this! We still do dubias from your video on that too but I’ve been wanting to do super worms. I’m tired of paying $4 for 20 and I remember not being able to get them. I just have the one beardie but our chickens love the left overs for protein!

One time a superworm escaped during feeding and burrowed into my pacman frog's substrate. A while later, I was startled when I saw a big beetle in there with him 😅

2 or 3 weeks in my experience
Bunch of containers with wheat bran as substrate (about 2-3 inches) to hold worms
Container for pupating worms that have spaces for individual worms
Load of worms to start (about 50)
Fruit for moisture and hydration
I pay 10.99 for 50 super worms in Oklahoma I have four lizards that shit adds up!
It was crazy during that time of not being able to get super worms. It made me want to start producing all kinds. This was a cool video. I mean 6.50 for 50 super worms at Petsmart is crazy. Flukers is cheaper but then shipping cost.
Yeah that was so weird when we couldn't get them!! They're quite expensive comparatively! Rainbow Mealworms is where I get my feeders if I ever need any. I buy black crickets frm them too. There's a discount code in the description box if youre near to CA and need any feeders!

I’m at the point now where my meal worms, super worms, and beetles are completely mixed in about 6 tubs. Throw some veggies or at minimum wet paper towels in every other day or so and they just keep multiplying…. Also the frass is so hard to get rid of as it’s always loaded with micro life

I pupated some superworms into beetles, now they are in wheat meal. There's only one problem. They refuse to eat! I have put in carrot, baby carrot, broccoli stalk with leaves on it, blended vegetable variety that I made for my bearded dragon, blueberry... And they won't eat any of it! They just walk around on the carrot all day but don't eat any! I even broke the carrot in half so they didn't have to bite through the tough skin, but nothing!
Ever had this before? Any ideas on how to get them to eat? Do they actually eat the wheat meal or is it just for substrate?
Seriously, I'm at a loss here. So weird. It's been almost a week now.
