here after an indian reviewer called these iems balanced, and a big pan indian channel 's sponsored video. thank you for being here bro. people like you give me hope in the budding indian audiophile community
Thank you for your kind words, I appreciate it.
My goal is to build India's best Audiophile community.
That is full of honesty and music.
Aw another giveaway! Amazing! Fantastic review as usual!
Thank you, I appreciate it. Yeah, You guys support me so much, that's the least from my side I can do.
I'am new to the iem world just get to know about the jd 1 and i started searching for a good review but i haven't got any video and the I got introduced by your review about the jd 1 ... Got all the info i needed .tysm😊
Was searching for HDZxFiio JD1 reviews and found your channel. Thanks for the honest review.
Great vid!
There are few audiophile channels that make quality videos in India.
Keep it up!
Great on point review👌🏽Cough Moondrop 😂
Eagerly waiting for Delci's review.
Artti R2 is also a great budget iem.
Venture Electronic ODO $5 dongle DAC is amazing too. Review them if possible.
Too many asks 😁
Will be reviewing Artii products in end of June or July.
Will try to include DACs as well
Thank you for the suggestion
Very well reviewed. Happy to see that frequency graphs was shown as well. Would like to get reviews for good dacs as well for using non dsp iems
Thank you, glad you liked it.
Coming soon, I asked in community post about DACs, got some suggestions, I have got all the DACs, the testing is already in process.
Wow unexpected review,
As i thought you will gives only positive aspects,
But in comparison you gives genuine and honest review, that i liked the most.
And yes great review too..
Much awaited video……thankx for comparing it to all its competitors…i really expected this collaboration of headphoneszone to be great like their ddhifi dac….it should be bass oriented iem but with multiple tuning and everything it can’t even standout in terms of of bass😑….I watched their review really felt biased…thanx for the honest review❤️
Just came across your channel.
I am truly surprised with your honesty.
I was blindly believing the words from the other big names in the platform.
Definitely you will be the big name in few years and you deserve that.
Thanks mate :)
I was watching this channel for first time...however I fell in love with your vidoes and took a look into your playlist..
Mannn.....! I fell in love with your content.
I wish you will grow a bit high.
The collection of IEMs you have is mind blowing...
I'm going to buy some good budget IEMs by watching your playlists...
Thank u mann.. ❤️
My closed captioning was on. It surprised me halfway through because I didn't even notice it. I didn't realize you had closed caption in your videos
Thank you. I try to add CC in all of the video except one or two here there
Really great review, after watching various videos and twitter ports, people were mentioning how good these are without mentioning the cons, thanks for pointing them out...
Also, you haven't mentioned the in-built dac, which can process 96khz / 24-bit, so is it good for those who want iem with dac, or better to look for other iems like chu 2?
Thank you
Yes I deliberately skipped that part, because 24bit 96K is good enough for budget range.
But the overall execution of IEM is so poor that I skipped that one in tech and focused more on sound.
Chu 2 is considerably better than this.
However Moondrop again didn't mention the chip they used, only dbmw is shared.
Great review, i have one question, will Simgot Supermix 4 come to india, and what would be its price.
It will be coming to India. Price will be between 12-1500
It's already listed on the audio store
I like the new intro! Hope you make it more seamless
Yes learning and improving with every video. Thank you for suggestion, will definitely improve upon it.
hi, great informative video! i have a question to you regarding these IEM (Type C variant). As IEM upgrade cables with type C + DAC costs similar to the price of these IEMs Type C variant, i was planing on getting these and using the type c cable on my KZ Castor (which i only use with my phone for music) and use these JD1 with the castors 3.5mm cable for gaming only on my PC. are these good for gaming, ie; listing to footstep sounds ? and will it be a overall good purchase for my scenario ?
No it will not be a good purchase for gaming or for a cable.
Since the DSP is tuned for JD1, it will affect tuning of your castor.
If you want something for gaming, I would suggest keep using castor for now and save up for Simgot EW200.
If you want to stay in budget, get Moondrop Chu 2 DSP.
Hope this helps
This is what i was waiting for. Most of the Twitter reviews were all good and i wasn't able to believe they have no criticism.
Thank you. Yeah, I was surprised as well. Cause the marketing is total opposite of what this IEM is.
i am looking for a IEM UNDER Rs.2000 and saving money for it a long time..hope i will buy a right one from your recommendation🤞🤞
Can you please review KZ Castor, i am a bit confused between Jd1 & castor or others around the 1500₹ mark. Looking for a moderately basier pair with non fatiguing highs for long commute.
Get QKZ x HBB.
JD1 has muddy mids.
I have not tried KZ, but all KZ are fatiguing.
Thank you for the detailed and on the point comparison
I already used CCA-CRA i loved the sound signature of CCA cra but within one year cable goes bad and gum started licking also broke the connector pin of one side
I want to buy another Iem i am little bit confused should i consider moondrop chu 2?
Chu 2 is a solid option and best budget IEM.
If you want something energetic EW100P is another contender.
Going to review Truthear Gate soon. If possible I would suggest you to wait for that cause that can be game changer.
Hi could u review letshouer s12 ?? Any idea planning to buy
I have already reviewed S12 Pro, you can check the review.
Additionally, i would suggest NiceHck F1 Pro if you are planning a planar like S12. It's exactly same as S12 Pro but better value for money.
Best planar right now in market is Hidizs MP145
Hope this helps.
great review, and i have heard similar things form other unbiased reviewers.
i think hpz is promoting it
Thank you, yes I was surprised listening to it, cause it's not at all what HPZ said.
Confused between these and simgot ew100 dsp, mainly looking for a type c connector. Also I'm new to IEM and these would be my first. Thank you!
EW100 and Chu 2 are better DSP IEMs. In budget DSP category.
Go for ew100p.
Hello Sir can you suggest a type c (inbuilt DAC ).
Going to buy my first IEM and I'm looking for some bass One and Somebalance as I mostly listen to Hindi pop and sometime 90's Bollywood song
What do u think of Blon-BL03, I actually need suggestions I was looking for a new pair of IEM I currently have a KZ EDX pro. I kinda didn't like how it sounded and couldn't listen to music for not more than 10 min. Kindly plz suggestion, IEM under 3k
Get, Truthear Gate if you want Balanced neutral sound.
Chu 2 if you want some bass with overall neutral profile.
Avoid Blon: it's peaky and cable quality and connection is not very good
Have you tested the 3.6mm variant of the jd1?
I heard that it sounded way better than the type c variant.
hey man which budget iem would you recommend for best sound stage with dsp?
Would you suggest iems around this price range for these categories:
1) Fast Bass
2) Technicalities
So Moondrop CHU II DSP, Wan'er and Simgot EW100P are the best ones in budget segment for above categories.
Thanks a lot for this honest review as i was looking forward to buy it as my daily driver. That Moondrop cough was hilarious 😆😆. BTW I have the Truthear Hola, can you suggest me a upgrade under Rs 7500. Is this a good idea to buy Simgot EA500LM ?
Thank you.
May I know your preference on music or type of iem you are looking?
@@treblewellxtended I usually love to listen indian classical, Carnatics, R&B, Ragas, sometimes Hip hop and Electronics. I usually prefer my IEM to be analytical yet a little bit warm with good separation and soundstage. And thanks a lot for giving me your attention ❤❤
@@parichaychakraborty5863 Understood your preference. Truthear Hexa or Aria 2 would be better choice for you. EA500LM would be brighter for your usage, the timbre is not upto the mark for classical music.
Truthear Hexa with wide bore tip would give you a great analytical experience with staging.
Aria 2 is slightly warmer than Hexa and has good details and sound staging as well.
Out of these I think if you want all of your preferences catered go for Aria 2
If you want to focus more on Analytical part Hexa is the choice.
Hope it answers.
@@treblewellxtended Thanks a lot for your suggestion . Have a great day 🤗
Yo great review!
small doubt are truthhear crinicle zero better than this and best under 5k?
Also looking out for the giveaway lol
Thank you.
Yes Zero and Zero Red are leagues better than this. And Zero Red is best in 5K category
Best of luck for the giveaway 🙌
Was looking for a good Type c variant IEM and here I found your video
Thanks for the geuine review. I came to know all the pros and cons.
I've been searching for an honest audiophile review, and I think I've finally found it. . 💯🔥
beginner dj and producer trying to create the madlib and dilla sample based beats sound using the real old school indian sound to make hip hop and house music because indian music has got insane samples, getting hands on these will help me out a lot.
Amazing, hope to listen to your masterpiece one day. Best of luck for your journey ahead 🙌🏻
Very well explained each and every minute details which for me gives me a thorough idea about the product.Well done brother❤.
Great video as always!!
I have come to the final conclusion my budget is 2k. I picked 3 final iems
1) tangzu wan'er
2)moondrop chu 2
3)this one
please suggest me best iem for the bass and overall quality.waiting for your reply
Chu 2 is the best amongst the 3 for bass and overall balance.
However if you value bass more, 7Hz zero 2 is a very good option with smooth treble
@@treblewellxtendedthanks for the reply
I decided to buy chu 2 ,but people say sometimes the sound feels shouty
@@aniketgandhe9278 totally depends, if you are treble sensitive only then. Otherwise it's good, bring out more details in music. Good sparkle
Sorry for taking your time but tell me the last option. Again I am getting confused between chu 2 and tangzu wan er . Just tell me how both sounds head to head compared
@@aniketgandhe9278 if you want vocal forward and slightly neutral leaning: Wan'er
Chu 2 if you want bass emphasis with balanced sound. Slight V.
I personally like Wan'er more because I'm a mid centric listener
bro, please suggest some good earphones under 2.5k. I would like my earphones to be neutral and not bass heavy.
Sir please suggest moondrop chu 2 and fiio jd1 ... Which one to buy ?
@@treblewellxtended But sir in 3.5 mm variant there is no mic so will it be worth it to spend 2.1k and buy the type-c version for the mic ?
@@suryaendurakshit2169 yes, I assumed that in this comparison we are talking about DSP version.
Totally worth it. Get Moondrop Chu 2 DSP.
Fiio JD1 is not a very good iem, overly marketed that's it.
I was looking for my first iem but with a type c dac version as other dacs are costly. I would love to use this iem as a beginner audiophile.
Hey. I have kz zsn pro x. I want to upgrade to little bass side under the same range. Can you suggest me some IEMs?
Get 7Hz Zero 2, very tasteful bass.
Since you are using KZ, it has a typical V signature with harsh treble and bass is already very high. Once you love to say Zero 2, you will feel the bass with overall tonality better.
@@treblewellxtended thanks. I too feel treble little harsh on kz. Will try these too.
Its great that u reply each and every comment..
Thank you 🙏
I want to have a good community that talk to each other. Trying my best to make it inclusive.
The Fact that it has type c with inbuild DAC is amazingly useful
Yes DSP IEMs are value for money.
It lacks in sound though but as overall architecture it is okay.
@@treblewellxtended yep this iem is just to improve competition 😄
Cable connection is lose little bit with others cable available in the market like tripowin. Informative and helpful video to make a decision.
I am looking for this iem and i found a good reviewer and can you suggest a good iem with good bass under 1500
Thank you. CCA CRA if you want V Shape
QKZ x HBB if you want warm and relaxing IEM
PLEASE HELP My current IEM, the Blon 03, was purchased from Headphone Zone and worked flawlessly for 2.5 years before its cable died.
I was considering purchasing another IEM now, but I'm having trouble choosing between the Moondrop Chu II, 7HZ-Salnotes Zero 2, and HEADPHONE ZONE X FIIO JD1. They're all amazing.
For music and gaming(priority).
if you have any other recommendations please tell, budget is ₹2500
i have type-c/3.5mm jack in both my laptop and mobile but don't know which type sounds good.
For both music and gaming i would recommend Truthear Gate or 7hz Zero OG not the 2
Zero is absolutely neutral
If you want slight warm sound: Truthear Gate is good choice.
Please note both are leaning neutral sound, so at first you might find them thin, since you are coming from Blon which is a V shape IEM, over the time you will be able to appreciate neutral sound.
Hope this answers the question.
@@treblewellxtended thank you very much that's the response I was waiting for
hey i already ordered the Zero 2 before you replied so now I am thinking of ordering Gate also after watching your review of it.
what is your suggestion should I order it or should I first experience Zero 2 or should I buy another more premium sounding IEM?
song preference: I like Hip hop style from Talwindar and seedhe maut and slow indie songs from Arijit Singh, A.R. Rahman
edit: reason for buy is because you said it's cable is great lol so I was thinking of using it for Zero 2 or Blon but if there is more premium cable you can recommend it new budget 3k
@@arnavdixit314 You are accustomed to Bass sound, you might not like Gate as of now, because it's leaning neutral. However if you use it for some time, that is one of the best sound in Budget. My recommendation would be to enjoy Zero 2 for some time. Gate is not going anywhere for at least one year.
Maybe by that time you can save up to try $50 IEM. Do not go just for cable in my opinion, since you are new in hobby.
@@treblewellxtended ok thank very much for all these replies i really appreciate them and now i understand that i should wait and give them some time to understand then if I feel like it's missing something I can always come to your and find new IEMs. Really thank you it feels good to talk to some experience person who give some great insights.
I'm planning to buy a 3.5mm version with a headphone zone dac
What would you suggest for 1500-2000 which has decent bass and overall good sound quality (As it is my first purchase to become an audiophile 😅 i have no idea about any sound stage or the v shaped sound. Give me your opinion) Thanks!
For DAC check Audiocular D07 and get QKZ x HBB or 7Hz zero 2 as your IEM
Headphone zone DAC is overpriced, D07 is same DAC for 1k
@@treblewellxtendedI have researched from your suggestion still I am confused. Can you tell the difference between the audiocular D07,D08& xTiandirenhe cs pro.And does having more than one driver really improves the quality like the KZ iems. After watching your review on the wan'er I am leaning towards it but the build quality is stopping me. QKZ is sold out and zero doesn't have a mic.
Sorry if I am bothering you too much 😅
Thank you!
@@kowsalyasivamani4793 Both DAC are more than enough for your usage, i recommend D07 (Slightly more neutral)
Now build quality is like this only for all budget iem except Moondrop and Simgot.
Lastly, no hybrid driver setup doesn't necessarily mean better, my most rated IEMs are 1DD, example in point Sennheiser ie series.
It is more about tuning than number of drivers.
Avoid KZ in my opinion due to their harsh and peaky sound. And ethical issues
Hi Bro, im looking for a best IEM under 2.5k. My previous earphones was Sennheiser CX 180 and I literally love it. I would like to upgrade to IEM which gives a similar feel with better version of my previous earphones. If possible, could you please recommend a best IEM for me.
Get Moondrop Chu 2 DSP version. No need to buy DAC etc. just get this plug and enjoy. Sweet sound signature with lot of technicalities for this price.
Is it even worth to use the dsp cable on other items to experiments?
Yes, but not with this cable. With Moondrop Free DSP, you can do some really cool stuff
i feel the sub 2k segment is the most competitive now, but im suprised by your review, coz every other YTer was hyping these up way too much. Love a honest review 😅 Btw did you test it with any games !
Hey just a suggestion, in your videos i have noticed that you sometimes miss out on talking abt comfort and fit (brolls of u wearing it would be +) 😊
I will try to add, as one man show, sometimes those shots are difficult. But thanks for sugesstion.
I have evolved the format as well as per all the suggestions so comfort and fit is there as well now.
Lastly, I didn't say anything about gaming because they are not a good set of IEM anyway.
@@treblewellxtended Hmm yeaah its hard but it would be a nice addition 😀

@@treblewellxtended is it good for music and gaming and i have type c port
i'm a beginner audiophile, i just used those wireless tws from brand(we all know which), im thinking to buy an iem. Looks like a good deal.
Really nice review..... U have explained everything well with giving as much possible details ..... My question is .... Are they even called an iem ..... They sound like earphones in skin of an iem..... Why should one purchase this if we have to compare it with earphones
True that. I think it’s a very apt analogy they sound like earbuds.
Budget IEMs have become way too good nowadays.
I regularly purchase audio gears from headphonezone and I really appreciate their work and feel happy for them when they grow..... But the thing is .. they market their collaboration products so intensely that.... It stops making sense at a certain point of time..... In my opinion...they should firstly choose the products wisely ..... Marketing is still acceptable as they are sellers .. not reviewers..
@@prathumo5580 Absolutely agree. Product overhype is a big problem in this market, especially sellers should refrain from reviewing own products
@@treblewellxtended Also one last question..... While purchasing perfumes we test a variety of them to try out which is suitable for us... So in between we smell coffee buds to make our smelling sense kind of neutral...... I guess those who listen to many audio products can face the same problem.... At a certain point of time there is a chance we will not be able to spot a difference.... Has this happened to you?.... What do you do when it happens?
@@prathumo5580 Yes absolutely it’s called Brain Burn in. When you listen to an IEM and TWS long enough, you brains adjust to that sound.
However, if you are listening for let’s say one hour, and then you move to another IEM you perceive immediate differences.
Though in neck to neck IEMs, this process takes a bit longer because both of them are so close so you have to get used to and listen for a long time .
Now if sometimes you are not able to listen differences, best way is to listen to a contrasting set for a couple of hours and you are good to go.
I hope it answers.
BTW good analogy, as a perfume collector myself I liked it.
How are KZ ZSN Pro 2 ???
Testing still not done, initial impressions it's fatiguing and peaky with bass
Typical KZ set. Will give you full impression once testing is fully done.
Well bro thanks for awesome detailed analysis. I was planning to invest in these, but I guess I'll pass on these.
Hi , currently I am using KZ edx lite iem which I bought last month. I am new to this iem segment and love to use only wired earphones not TWS and Neckbands. My collection of earphones are boat(initially), jbl, Skullcandy, Sony which are around 500Rs - 1000Rs. One funny part is after unboxing the Kz edx lite I wasn't able to find which one is LEFT and Right earpiece for first 3 Days there is no sign L or R and i plugged the wires in wrong direction like upside down I don't know how to plug it in right way which is going around the ears back 🤣. Now comes to the sound quality I would say It's way better than the Normal earphone in this price range. The vocals , tremble, small nuisance like water droplets, background chorus singers voices are out of the roof. I was amazed by the kz edx lite iem but I got Ear Fatigue after listening for 45 mins, way normal BASS quality compared to other sounds, the Fit is not good, weight distribution is too bad. I can't watch a movie in a single stretch because of ear fatigue. Now I got an idea how IEM earphones would sound like. I will definitely try new IEM's in my next purchase and I saw many CZcamsrs unboxing & reviewing this Fiio-Headphone zone IEM which I think it's a great value for money IEM and I would like to enter the giveaway, I will definitely give my feedback if I win this IEM.
i don't know why many popular CZcamsrs are not posting videos about IEM earphones as compared to TWS and neckband earphones. I find only music enthusiastic youtube channels like you and underrated youtubers talk, post videos about IEM.
Thank you for detailed view. Yes IEM is very new in popularity.
Only seasoned audiophiles were into this space.
Now that it is gaining popularity let's see how it grows.
