Everyone going crazy over Rapinoe and Morgan. From all the games I watched, the best player by far is Rose Lavelle. She is the female version of Andrés Iniesta. Pretty much orchestrated like 80% of the attack plays of the USWNT. I've never seen a woman play fútbol that well.

When have females shown they have held their own against Male competitors. The closest thing is tennis mixed doubles matches. I've yet to see a co-ed soccer tournament, baseball tournament, basketball tournament, boxing, mma the list goes on.

Competition is key. USMNT cannot win for the simple fact that teams like Brazil, Spain and obviously the defending champs France are not going anywhere. Competition is key and although undoubtedly the WNT have dominated their sport, they do not face as stiff of a competition as their men counterpart. However, they should still be paid equally for their efforts and hardwork.
