"Coinvergence" Performance (Roberto Giobbi)

- This clip was recorded at Giacomo Bertini's "Close-up Symposium" in Milan, Italy as part of an instructional video project which had only very limited circulation. I'm publishing it here to save it from being forgotten, as I believe you will find it contains a few interesting bits and pieces. It's a short routine built around Shigeo Tagaki's piece "Coin Assembly". This is performance only. You can download the teach-in from my webshop at www.robertogiobbi.com. Enjoy!

Wow. The moves involved here (which I don't know personally although I plan to learn them) in order to make the coins disappear really are amazing and so smoothly executed you would swear he has no coin anywhere once he picks up the card from the table. I tried to catch even a slight glance of coin every time a card was lifted from the table and the apparent disappearance of the coin happened but no, I never caught a glimpse.
You Sir, are a Master of your craft and it is entirely a pleasure to witness.
