I love that she sat in a steamy bath after applying her makeup! This is something I’ve done many, many times & never realized the benefits to my makeup from doing so! A lot of times, when I’m really taking extra time with my makeup look for a special occasion, I’ll hop in the bath after I’m done so I feel super fresh before I get dressed. My husband always kind of scratches his head & asks me why I do this. I love that she did this & now I can say “Elizabeth Taylor did it, so can I!” 😂

I have an Elizabeth Taylor costume myself and for makeup, I colour my eyebrows black and make them look bigger. Blue eyeshadow and black mascara. Red lipstick and lip liner. Also face powder, blush and of course, the little beauty mark on the right side of my face.
