- Travel to Busan, South Korea and battle for control across three distinct locales within one map: Sanctuary, Downtown, and MEKA Base.
Explore the serene setting of the Sanctuary, surrounded by an ancient temple, beautiful gardens, and historic architecture. Clash in the bustling metropolis of Downtown, where players will fight across a busy PC bang, flashy karaoke bar, and central light rail station (just watch out for the train). Contest for position in MEKA Base-home of South Korea’s frontline defense against the gwishin omnic attacks: D.Va and the rest of the MEKA squad. Teams must fight to hold each of the three stages to establish complete control of the city that refuses to surrender its way of life to any threat.

When you've actually lived in Korea for about half of your entire life...this...is absolutely beautiful beyond belief. Thank you Blizzard...everything about this reminds me of my childhood home so much it hurts.

It's great how Blizzard put effort to respect the cultural differences between Korea, China and Japan. Each cultures are sophiscated and unique in its own ways and I feel that Blizzard has done well to show that.

I could be happy if we get an omnic hero that is like Bastion. But thinner, faster and longer.
This is significant, because Busan is pretty much the Korean metaphor for "the last line of defence." If you know about the Korean War, you would understand that the significance of the place in the movie "Train to Busan" is that other post has fallen and that Busan is the final line of defence against the zombies. Same for OW, as it hints that it is the last desperate line of defence for Korea against the Omnics, and therefore signifies why D.Va refuses to leave her post and guard the city alone. The more you know, the more you see:)

Hi I'm DVA and welcome to my crib
The traditional building is named “Haedong Yonggungsa(Hae-dong Yong-gung-sa)”.
It is very old buddist temple, about 650 years old.
Also one of the famous places for sightseeing, since it is near Haeundae beach.
Yes, i went there twice in 2014. So happy they made a map out of this (easily the best of the three)

I JUST GOT THE BIGGEST IDEA! basically the busan map would have all 3 sectors in one place. And When a control point has been captured, the players need to move to the next point themselves. And as they go there, the points would be locked until that normal unlocking point, and If the player dies When the next point is still unlocking, they have respawn to the spawn of the previous control point. And If the next point is unlocked, players will respawn on the unlocked point's spawns. Phew, that was A long one
